WAUSA - Services for Louis B. Kalvelage, 90, Wausa, were Jan. 4 at Thabor Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Monson officiated with burial in Woodlawn cemetery in Wausa. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Wausa was in charge. He died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Heritage of Bel-Air in Norfolk.

He died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Norfolk.

Services for Marcus "Markie" Melendez, age 3 of Barstow, Calif., were Dec. 21, 2004, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow. Burial was at Mountain View Memorial Park. He died Dec. 14, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident.

Services for Patrick H. Jacques, 81, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jeff Lorig will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be by American Legion Post 16 and VFW Post 1644. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a wake at 7 p.m. at the Home For Funerals in Norfolk. Mr. Jacques died at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Care Center on Monday, Jan. 3, 2005.
