He died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

There will be a Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary service at 4 p.m. Wednesday. She died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at St. Luke's Nursing Center in Kearney.
