Funeral Services will be held Thurs., Nov. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at Elwood, NE with Revs. Jeff Ernstmeyer and Kurtis Busskohl officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Cemetery at Arapahoe.

Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on June 7 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Sisters, OR and a Celebration of Life will be held at noon at Romaine Village and Country Estates Community Center in Bend, OR.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7 at 10 a.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services were held Fri., July 18 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sherry J. Sklenar officiating.

Angelina Petska

Angelina Petska, 79, of Ord died Wed., Apr. 24, 2002 at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sat., Apr. 27 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. Father Bob Rooney officiated. Carol Estudillo was accompanist and vocalists were Connie Petska, Amanda and Chelsa Petska and Mike Petska and Sharon Kreimer. Pallbearers were David Benson, Kerry Petska, Ken Petska, Roger Petska, Marty Petska and Tom Benson. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund or the donor's choice.

Thomas F. "Kelly" Bilstein

Amelia Resident, 79

Thomas Franklin "Kelly" Bilstein, 79, of Amelia died Sat., June 22, 2002 after a short battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Wed., June 26 at the Atkinson Community Center in Atkinson. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson. Rev. Donald Spicer officiated. Hitchcock Funeral Home of Burwell was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to the family for donation to hospice care.

Mr. Bilstein was born July 5, 1922 at Swan Lake in Holt County to Gustav and Manetta (Nott) Bilstein.

On Aug. 26, 1944 he married Doris Gumb in Burke, SD. He was inducted into the US Army on Nov. 18, 1944. He served in France and Germany and received an honorable discharge on Apr. 4, 1946.

Annabelle Abbott

Annabelle Abbott, 64, of Omaha died Mon., Aug. 26, 2002 at Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Graveside memorial services were held 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 4, 2002 at Moulton Cemetery near Almeria. She was cremated. Rev. Don Studley of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Taylor officiated. Hitchcock Funeral Home of Burwell was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Loup County Historical Society or the Taylor Library.

She was born Mar. 3, 1938 near Almeria to Ernest and Hildia (Jarvis) Abbott. She attended Liberty School, country school through the eighth grade and high school at Taylor. She held various secretarial jobs through the years including editing and compiling the newsletter for the State Nurses Association of Nebraska and working in the office of Urban League in Omaha.
