Esther Marie Buffington, 69, daughter of Lloyd and Fern (Lytle) Key, was born at Burwell, NE, Oct. 13, 1931, and died at the Antelope Memorial Hospital. Neligh, NE March 23, 2001.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2001, at the United Methodist Church in Elgin with the Rev., Janet Burgel, pastor, officiating. Carolyn Johnson was organist. Interment was in the West Cedar Valley cemetery at Elgin with Wilfred Arehart, Noel Bottendorf, Ray Dinslage, Donald Mackel, Kenneth Peters, and Kenneth Richart serving as casket bearers.

Albert Hulinsky, Jr., 84, of Grand Island died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Tiffany Square Care Center.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the United Congregational Church in Grand Island.

Stella McMillan, 90, of Broken Bow, formerly of the Milburn area in Custer County, died Friday, May 25, 2001 in Broken Bow.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 29, at 2:00 P.M. at the Broken Bow Cemetery. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow was in charge of arrangements.

C. Linton Hodgson, 78, of Burwell, Nebraska died Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at St. Frances Medical Center in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2001 at the Burwell Baptist Church in Burwell. Burial was in Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell. Rev. Scott Harvey and Rev. David Koenigsberg officiated. Visitation was from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2001 at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Virginia M. Kearns, 77, of Grand Island, Nebraska died Tuesday May 22, 2001 at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island.
Graveside funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m Friday, May 25, 2001 at Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell. There was no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family. Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell was in charge of arrangements.

Bertha Werley, 96, of Broken Bow, formerly of the Milburn and Anselmo area, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 in Broken Bow.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Reverend Doug Jones officiating. Burial was in the Broken Bow cemetery with Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements.

David "Mike" Campbell, 36, of Ord, died Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Bryan LGH in Lincoln.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Ord with Rev. John Campbell and Rev. Rob Stiner officiating. Burial was in the Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell. Visitation was held Friday, October 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel in Ord. Memorials may be given to the family. Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Frances B. Klanecky, 100, of Burwell, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at Valley County Hospital in Ord. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2001, at 10:30 A. M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell with the Father Bernard Berger officiating. Burial will be in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, from 5 to 7 P M., with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at the church.

Charlotte Berdine Piper, 86, of Burwell, Nebraska, died January 28, 2002, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell.
Services will be a the Metz Funeral Home in York, Nebraska, on February 2 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Arborville cemetery near Polk.
CLARA BERNADINE WRIGHT
Mass of Christian burial for Clara Bernadine Wright 84, of Alvardo, Texas, were held March 22, 2002 at the Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas, with burial in the Arlington National cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Wright died March 19, 2002 at a Fort Worth hospital following a lengthy illness.

Ella Elfreida Zobel, 90 of Bancroft, died on Monday, March 25, 2002 at the Living Center in West Point, NE. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church near Bancroft, with the Rev. Terry Daberkow officiating. Visitation was at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Russell L. Coufal, son of Joe and Maxine Englebrecht Coufal, was born May 4, 1948 at St. Paul, Nebraska. He departed from this life on March 29, 2002 at Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 53 years.
