Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Eickhoff officiating. Burial was at Miller Cemetery.
Adams & Swanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Lillian Mildred (Senn) Keezer
Lillian Mildred (Senn) Keezer, 101 years old, former Wheeler County resident died on January 28, 2004 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Funeral services was held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 2nd, at the United Methodist Church in Bartlett. Interment will be at Bartlett Cemetery. Visitation was be held prior to the services.
Norris M. Jones
Norris M. Jones, 76, of Ord died Thursday, January 29, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 2, 1004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel. The Reverend Mike Chase officiated. Burial was in the Cottonwood cemetery at Burwell with military rites provided by the Ord American Legion Post 38 and VFW Post 7029. Visitation was on Sunday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation or the Make A Wish Foundation. Music was provided by Linda Nance, accompanist and Tim Glendening, vocalist. Active pallbearers were Mitchell Sok, Michael Sok, Randy Gross, Cary Skibinski, Eugene Sok and Alan Gross. Honorary pallbearers were all of Norris' family and friends.
John C. Van Houten
John C. Van Houten, 83, of Yerington, Nevada died Sunday, February 2, 2003 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Reno, Nevada of natural causes. He is survived by his sister, Irene Goos, of Ava, Missouri and seven nieces and nephews. A graveside, VFW funeral was held Tuesday, July 2, 2003 at the Lone Mountain cemetery in Carson City, Nevada. The VFW funeral began at 9:45 a.m.

Gail Norvin Reineke, 55, of Ord, Nebraska, formerly of Burwell, Nebraska died March 23, 2004 at his home after a battle with cancer.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2004 at the First Christian Church in Burwell, Nebraska. Burial was in Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell, Nebraska. Rev. Rolly Salts and Mr. Roy Weber officiated. Visitation was from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Floyd Jackson Dye, age 93, of Lamar, passed away at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Lakeview Healthcare Center, Lamar, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31st, at Daniel Funeral Home. The family received friends from 7 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2nd, at the Ord City cemetery in Ord, Nebraska.

Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. mountain time on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Syracuse cemetery in Syracuse, Kansas. Visitation was from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2004 at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Loup County Rescue Unit.
William Doran, Sr
Doran, William "Bill" Gerald, Sr., 78, of Palm Harbor, FL; formerly of Denver, CO, died May 6, 2004 at his home. Born and raised in Burwell, he moved with his family to Lincoln in the 1930s and graduated from Cathedral High School in Lincoln, in 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harrison Doran, Sr. and Jessamine Agnes Flynn Doran; his brothers, John Harrison Doran, Jr., Robert Roland Doran, and an infant sister Marian Doran.

Edward W. Hulinsky, 72, of Ashton died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.
Services were at 10:30 a.m Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Ashton. The Rev. Louis A. Nollette officiate. Burial will be in the St. Francis Catholic cemetery at Ashton, with graveside military honors by American Legion Post 108 of Ashton.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kearney Cemetery. Rev. North P. Sherrill Jr. will officiate. Visitation is planned Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary in Kearney. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Unit at Mt. Visitation was from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City and one hour before service time Wednesday at the church in Kearney.
