Helen E. Dill, 74 of Sterilng Pavilion and formerly of Sterling Towers, Sterling, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997 at CGH Medical Center.
Services were Sunday at Sterling Towers. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in West Point, Neb. at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 11, 1997. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Helen E. Dill was born June 30, 1923 in West Point to Clement and Helen ( Poeschl ) Strehle. She married
Ross J. Dill in October of 1941 in West point. She worked in the kitchen at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, retiring in 1985.
Survivors are her children, Ross and Judy Dill of Sterling and Mary Beth Dill and Martha Svoboda, both of Lakewood, Colo; two brothers and sisters - in - law, Leroy H. and Patricia Strehle of Crete, Neb. and James D. and Darlene Strehle of West Point and two grandsons, Jason A. Dill and Adam E. Dill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, on June 14, 1973.
A memorial has been established to the Sauk Valley Community College foundation and to the Table Mountain Animal Center in Boulder, Colo.
Arrangements were by McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, Ill.

Donald J. Trierweiler, 57, of Harlan, Iowa, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Services were Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Harlan. Rev. Richard Gubbels officiated. Burial was in the Harlan Cemetery.
Donald J. Trierweiler was born April 2, 1940 to Raymond Michael and Corrine Marie ( Blum ) Trierweiler at Defiance, Iowa. He was baptized at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Buck Grove, Iowa and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dow City, Iowa. He attended Dow City Community School through the ninth grade and then attended St. Joseph's Catholic School in Earling, graduating in 1958.
On April 4, 1961, he married
Darlene Ann Gross at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Earling. On Sept. 14, 1991, he married
Mary Ann Porter in Harlan. He worked in the agricultural field, was employed at Farmland Foods and was in maintenance at the Country Care Center south of Harlan at the time of his death.
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann, of Harlan; his children, Russell Trierweiler and friend, Lori Kruger of Denison, Iowa; Tina Reed and her husband, John of Kiron, Iowa; David Trierweiler and his wife, Sara of Woodbine, Iowa; Jacqueline Trierweiler of Schleswig, Iowa; Thomas Trierweiler and his wife, Cindy of Sioux City, Iowa; and Daniel Trierweiler of the U. S. navy and his fiance', Jodi Labrie; brothers and sisters - in - law, James and Margaret Trierweiler of Denison; Dick and Diane Trierweiler of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Phil and Donna Trierweiler of Earling; a sister and brother - in - law, Elizabeth and Michael Wilcox of Blair; 16 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step - father, Nick Bissen. Casket bearers were Russ Trierweiler, Terry Clyde, Tom Trierweiler, Dave Trierweiler, Dan Trierweiler and Rusty Ballantyne.
Honorary casket bearers were Lynn Kenkel, Matthew Trierweiler, Nathen TenEyck, Joe Mahlberg and Rick Ballantyne.
Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of services.

Lisa and Chan Oliver of Fort Calhoun are the parents of a son, Chance Albert, who was born Aug. 9, 1997, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, measuring 20 inches long.
He joins one sister, Ashley Sanders, 7.
His grandparents are Ben and Shirley Oliver of Fort Calhoun; and Dennis Holcomb of Houston, Texas.
His great - grandmother is Helen Rumelhart of Omaha.

Linda and Richard King are the parents of a daughter, Brooke Marie, who was born Aug. 29, 1997, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. She weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, measuring 22 inches long.
She joins one sister, Kirsten.
Her grandparents are Darlene Wiegert of Mesa, Ariz.; and Joyce and Charles King of Lincoln.
Her great - grandparent is Vera Hogan of Mesa, Ariz.

Jodi and Joel Fredericksen of Kennard are the parents of a daughter, Jessica Kay, who was born Aug. 31, 1997, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. She weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces, measuring 19 1/2 inches long.
Her grandparents are Charlene Fredericksen of Blair; Jim Kallhoff of Kennard; and Jane Kallhoff of Norfolk.
Her great - grandmother is Fern Fredericksen of Emerson.
Hall - Haggstrom
Christina Jeanne Hall and Shane Joseph Haggstrom, both of Yutan, are engaged to be married
Sept. 6, 1997, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Omaha.
The bride - to - be is the daughter of Garold and Jeanne Hall of Blair. Her grandparent is Aloysius Schmit of Blair. Hall is a 1993 graduate of Blair Jr./Sr. High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Dana College in 1996 and is employed as a software licensing administrator at Inacom in Omaha.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Raymond and Kandis Haggstrom of Omaha. His grandparents are Richard and Martha Penry of Hebron. He is a 1991 graduate of Millard North High School in Omaha. He earned an associate's degree in network engineering from Metro Community College in Omaha and is employed as a network engineer at the Oriental Trading Co. in Omaha.
Matron of honor is Amy Gustafson of Blair; bridal attendants are Dana Kowalewski and Heather Schmit, both of Omaha.
Best man is Randy Miller of Omaha; groomsmen are Shawn Haggstrom of Yutan and Mark Gustafson of Blair.
Ringbearer is Jesse Hall. Flower girl is Jackie Smith. Ushers are Jeffrey and Thomas Hall.
A reception will follow at the church. Following a honeymoon on a western Caribbean cruise, the couple will live in Yutan.

Fannie Louise Trotter, 64 died Sunday, Sept. 7, 1997 in Omaha.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha.
Trotter was born Aug. 30, 1933 in Bradish, Neb.
Survivors are her husband, Marvin E. Trotter, Omaha; daughters and son - in - law, Linda Hoffmann, Overland Park, Kan. and Nancy and Jeff Gilliland, Weeping Water, Neb.; a son and daughter - in - law, Don and Linda Trotter, Lenexa, Kan.; grandchildren, Steven Hoffmann, Adam Hoffmann, Cassi Gilliland, Kim Gilliland, Joshua Gilliland, Ben Trotter and Erin Trotter; brothers, C.
