Gayle Tolliver, 51
Gayle Jean Tolliver, 51, of Maple Valley, Wash. died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, in Renton, Wash.
Services were April 13 at Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw, Wash.
Gayle Jean Tolliver was born Sept. 15, 1946, in Decatur, Neb. to Ed and Pauline ( McAllister ) Wanamaker. She married
Garry Tolliver in 1963 in Blair. She was a licensed practical nurse.
She was a member of the Harley's Owner Group.
Survivors are her husband, Garry, of Maple Valley; a son, Michael Tolliver of Redmond, Wash; two daughters, Shelly Tolliver of Maple Valley and Teresa Gardner of Lacey, Wash.; two brothers, Duane Wanamaker of Dakota City, Neb.; and Ronald Wanamaker of Sioux City, Iowa; a sister, Linda Small of San Antonio, Tex.; and a grandson, Scott Gardner.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Michael Tolliver.
Memorials may be given to the Maple Valley Food Bank.

Margaret E. Dixon, 93, of Blair, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell - Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
Margaret Esther Norris was born on Aug. 22, 1904, in Worthington, Ohio, to Cornelius and Elizabeth ( Cline ) Norris. At the age of seven, she and her parents moved to Ord by train. She grew up in Ord and graduated from Ord High School. As a teenager she was given the nickname "Mike; , " which many of her friends called her. Her grandchildren would later refer to her as "Grandma; Mike." She married
Ted Leroy Lathrop on Sept. 18, 1923. They lived in Blair. Eleven years after the death of her first husband in 1949, she married
Curtis Dixon from Fort Calhoun.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Ted N. and Crystal Lathrop of Omaha and James W. and Linda Lathrop of Hialeah, Fla.; a son - in - law, Henry Antczak of Pelham, N.J.; two grandsons and their wives, Ted R. and Terri Lathrop of Lincoln and James and Kathie Lathrop of Logan, Iowa; two granddaughters and their husbands, Linda and Patrice Guesnet of Paris, France, and Donna and Dave Rorke of Toms River, N.J.; seven great - grandsons and two great - granddaughters; and one niece, Eloise Beranek of Ord.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ted L. Lathrop in May 1949 and Curtis Dixon in 1967; two daughters, Betty Jean Lathrop and Margaret Ann Antczak and one son, Robert Lathrop.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church building fund.

Mildred M. Dunlap, 87
Mildred M. Dunlap, 87, of Blair, formerly of Macy, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Decatur Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Walthill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell - Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
Mildred M. Ferguson was born Nov. 28, 1910, at Decatur to Louis and Alice ( Miller ) Ferguson. She attended rural school in Thurston County and graduated from Decatur High School and Wayne State College. She taught school in Thurston County prior to her marriage to Walter Dunlap on June 1, 1931. Mildred lived near Decatur until moving to Good Shepherd Home in 1995.
She is survived by three sons and daughters - in - law, James L. and Margaret Dunlap of Zearing, Iowa, Robert D. and Virginia Dunlap of Fremont and Roy H. and Rita Dunlap of Decatur; three daughters and a son - in - law, Donna L. Rawson of Tekamah, Mary E. Holst of Leshara and Alice and William Shamburg of Herman; 11 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 27 great - grandchildren and one great - great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1964; one grandson, Roy Marvin Dennis Dunlap; and two brothers, Burt and Vern Ferguson.

Leroy J. King, 76
Leroy Joseph King, 76, of Tekamah, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Tekamah Health and Rehab.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Tekamah. Rev. Judith Clark Wharton is officiating. Burial will be in the Tekamah Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church in Tekamah or the Tekamah Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Edna M. Francisco, 82
Edna M. Francisco, 82, of Blair died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at her home in Blair.
Services today at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery. Military honors were by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
Edna Marie Jensen was born Jan. 17, 1916, at Blair to Carl O. and Caroline ( Christensen ) Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church. She graduated from Blair High School and Immanuel School of Nursing. In 1941, she enlisted in the Army Nurse Corps. She served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. She received three bronze stars. She was discharged from the army with the rank of captain in 1951 after 10 years of service. In 1948, she married
H.G. "Duke; " Francisco at Battle Creek, Mich. Duke suffered a disabling stroke in 1953 and she worked and took care of him until his death in April of 1981. She then moved back to Blair where she lived until her death.
She is survived by her stepson and his wife, David and Alice Francisco; two step-grandsons, David and Michael, all of Irwin, Pa.; one niece, Arlene Sonderup, and one nephew, Don Olson, both of Blair; seven great-nieces and nephews; 16 great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duke; her father in 1919 and her mother in 1968; and her sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Ted Olson.
Monte "Spud; " D. Frye, 37
Monte "Spud; " D. Frye, 37, of Omaha died Saturday, June 20, 1998.
Services were pending Monday. Burial will be in the Craig cemetery at Craig.
Monte "Spud; " Duane Frye was born Aug. 4, 1960, in Blair to Monte L.J. and Beatrice Glendora ( Bushnell ) Frye. He attended school in Chandler, Ariz., and graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa, Ariz. He joined the Army and spent time in Korea on training maneuvers. His favorite part of this was helicopter rapelling. He loved being a dare devil. He then began driving the big rigs coast to coast, a job he enjoyed to the fullest. He was always a friendly face, he never met a stranger. On this part of his life's journey, he met and married
Sherry Cullum on Sept. 2, 1989. The couple had two children, Sarah Gayle born April 13, 1990, and Megan Ann born March 6, 1992. He also had a stepson, Andres Sanchez. In 1995-96, Frye attended Caterpillar School. He was employed by Embassy Investigative Corp. at the time of his death.
On Aug. 5, 1997, he accepted the Lord at the Liberty Christian Center in Omaha. He began the most exciting part of his life, learning the teachings of our Lord.
He is survived by two daughters, Sarah and Megan of New Mexico; a stepson, Andres Sanchez of New Mexico; his mother and stepfather, Beatrice and Butch of Arizona; two brothers, Larry of Arizona and Robert of New York; a stepbrother, Jesse, of Arizona.; grandmother, Effie; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the Frye family at 1118 Nebraska St., Blair.

Frances Hineline, 81
Frances Hineline, 81, of Blair, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Services were Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Frances Kiefer was born Dec. 3, 1916, at Blair to Frank and Carrie (Clements) Kiefer. She attended school in Blair. In July of 1933 she married
Ralph Hineline. After their marriage, they moved to DeSoto where she lived until moving to Blair in 1976. She worked at Wilkinson Manufacturing, Blair Laundry and most recently at D.L. Blair Company.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Totten of Fremont and Bonnie Zeleny of Blair; two sons, Ralph Hineline, Sr., of Arvadia, Colo., Ronald Hineline of Fort Calhoun; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Frank Kiefer of Osage Beach, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in September 1969; one grandson, three sisters and three brothers.

Morris E. Hoier, 90
Morris E. Hoier, 90, of Monterey Park, Calif., formerly of Washington County, died Saturday, May 23, 1998.
Services were May 27 at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
Morris E. Hoier was born May 8, 1908, in Tascher, Austria, to Martin and Eva Hoier. He came to America in the spring of 1912. He attended Pleasant View School north of Blair. He married
Norma Robinson at Yankton, S.D., in 1954. They moved to California where he worked as a union truck driver until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; a daughter, Diana Schneider, and a grandson, Brian Schneider, all of California.; and a sister, Martha Hineline of Fort Calhoun.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene; and a sister, Anna Hineline.
