Sandra Jensen-Camras
APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. -- Sandra Jensen-Camras, 52, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Grand Island, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
Services were on Wednesday in Gold Canyon United Methodist Church at Apache Junction. Memorial services will be at a later date in Fargo, N.D. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Fargo.
Mrs. Jensen-Camras was born on Oct. 15, 1947, in Fargo, N.D., to Leland and Betty Jensen. She graduated from Central High School in Fargo in 1965. She earned her licensed practical nurse degree in 1968 from North Dakota State College of Science at Wahpeton. She worked at several hospitals and nursing homes throughout her career.
For several years, she lived in Grand Island, where she worked for a veterinary hospital.
Survivors include her parents, of Apache Junction; a brother, Thomas Jensen of Villa Ridge, Mo.; two sisters, Nancy Boelts of Gettysburg, Pa., and Barbara Fraundorfer of Moorhead, Minn.; and her grandmother, Frances Wheeler of Breckenridge, Minn.
Susana Alvarado-Ramos
Susana Alvarado-Ramos, infant daughter of Milton and Delmi (Ramos) Alvarado of Grand Island, was stillborn Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday at the funeral home.
Eula Haddix
Eula M. Haddix, 85, of Grand Island, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Karohl will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Faith United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Haddix was born November 10, 1914 in Brush, Colo. She was raised in Nebraska, and at the age of 15 she moved with her family to Grand Island. She graduated from Grand Island High School.
She married
William Haddix on May 8, 1935 in Hastings.
Mrs. Haddix worked for Montgomery Wards. She also assisted her husband in home building and remodeling.
The couple lived and farmed in Onamia, Minn., for eight years. They returned to Grand Island and she continued to help her husband in new home construction. She also worked in food service at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for more than 24 years. She retired in 1981.
Her hobbies included gardening and canning.
She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and the Ladies Group at the church.
Survivors include one son, Richard Haddix of Beatrice; one daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Donald) Pontious of Grand Island; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lawrence Kenney of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; one grandson; three brothers; and three sisters.
Eleanor Fleming
Eleanor E. Fleming, 66, of Grand Island, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Memorial services will be at a later date in Kirksville, Mo. Burial will be in Kirksville, Mo. Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Fleming was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Kirksville, Mo. to Virgil O. and Lorna Louise (Neibuar) Johnson.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brad Wolfort of Waxahacher, Texas and Jeff Wolfort of Asseria, Kan.; one daughter, Jan Wolfort of Portland, Ore.; one grandson; her father, Virgil O. Johnson of Kirksville, Mo.; one brother, Jerry Johnson of Kirksville, Mo.; and two sisters, Virginia Craig of Newcastle, Wyo. and Yvonne Loncaric of St. Louis.
Rose Brengelman
ST. PAUL -- Rose Brengelman, 92, of St. Paul died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Island. The Rev. Dennis Reich will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kleine Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the church.
Mrs. Brengelman was born on Dec. 30, 1906, near Dannevirke to Tony and Anne (Jensen) Christensen. She lived in Laramie, Wyo., with her family and moved to Cotesfield as a young girl. She and her family later moved to Farwell, where she attended school.
She married
Harry F. Brengelman on Aug. 18, 1926, at Albion. They lived near Farwell on a farm. They retired in 1966 and moved to Grand Island.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She had been active in St. Mark's Lutheran Church in St. Paul and taught Sunday school while living near Farwell.
Mrs. Brengelman was a member of the Grand Generation Center in Grand Island and past member of Danish Sisterhood. She served as an American Red Cross volunteer and was a speaker for the Farm Bureau.
She enjoyed poetry, reading, writing and crocheting.
Survivors include one son, Fred of Fresno, Calif.; two daughters, Irene (Mrs. Lewis) Klanecky of Grand Island and Carol (Mrs. Lou) Gutz of Green Valley, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, June (Mrs. Gus) Eilerts of St. Paul.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

POLK -- Thomas Kenneth Haas Jr., 52, of Polk, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at his home in Polk after a long illness.
Solt Funeral Home of Polk is in charge of arrangements.
Theresa Pokorski
ASHTON -- Theresa Pokorski, 91, of Ashton died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
Services are pending with Peters Funeral Home of Loup City.
Roy Nowlin
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Roy A. "Bud" Nowlin, 83, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Aurora, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Albuquerque Manor.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary in Albuquerque.
Mr. Nowlin was born in Aurora on Sept. 16, 1916.
He joined the United States Air Force and served during World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the USAF in 1968 as a Senior Master Sargent after serving 27 years.
After retiring from the Air Force he moved to Albuquerque, where he worked for J.C. Penny Co. Inc. automotive. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and enjoyed motor homing with the three New Mexico Chapters, the Chaparrals, Smokey Bears and Cuatro Estados.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel, one son, Gary and one grandson, all of Allentown, Pa.
He was preceded in death by one son, Doug.
