Janette Andre
COZAD -- Janette Jane Andre, 63, of Cozad, formerly of Lexington, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at the Southview Manor in Cozad, where she had been a resident since August of 2000.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with the Rev. Richard Boring officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery in Lexington. Visitation will be will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Parkinson's Disease research or the donor's choice.
Mrs. Andre was born July 18, 1937, at Crofton to Leslie and Ruby (Stoltnow) Gutschow. She was raised in Lexington. She married
Kermit Story on Aug. 30, 1953. She married
Gerald Andre on Dec. 5, 1965.
She worked at the White Island Cafe, Ed and Vi's Cafe; Parkway Cafe, Latter's Dairy, Sixth Street Food Stores and the Leprechaun.
Mrs. Andre was a member of Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and dancing.
Survivors include a son, Steven of Flippin, Ark.; two daughters, Roxanna (Mrs. Chuck) Wobbema of Lexington and Rhonda (Mrs. Myron) Hanquist of Hordville; a stepdaughter, Kim (Mrs. Alan) Campbell of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; a brother, Don Gutschow of Elwood; four sisters, Verna (Mrs. Kenneth) Moritz, Virginia (Mrs. Ed) Hanson and Donna (Mrs. Ervin) Smock, all of Cozad, and twin Janice (Mrs. Rex) Strickland of Lexington; two stepbrothers, Dwayne Rutledge of Gearhart, Ore. and Robert Rutledge of Florida; two stepsisters, Beverly (Mrs. Cecil) Wempen of Overton and Ruby Schwarz of Atlanta; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather; a brother, Clayton; and a stepsister, Janet Henry.
Scott Olsen
HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Scott L. Olsen, 53, of Huntsville, Texas, formerly of Hampton, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Huntsville with the Revs. John Holbrook and Stephen Payne officiating.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Community Child Care Center in Huntsville, Alpha Omega Academy in Huntsville or the Faith Lutheran School in Huntsville.
Huntsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Olsen was born to Roy and Cleo Olsen in Hampton. He was a certified public accountant with a practice in Cleveland and on the staff of Lee College for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and also was stationed in Korea during that time.
He was on the Community Child Care Center of Huntsville board of directors.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah, a son, Adam and a daughter, Laura Olsen, all of Huntsville; his parents of Hampton; three brothers, Tom and Mark, both of Hampton and Chuck of Phoenix; and a sister, Kathy Flynn of Lincoln.
Stanley Owen
Stanley Owen, 80, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of the Burwell area, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at the Colorado University Hospital in Denver.
Mr. Owens was cremated. A memorial service will be at a later date.
Archie Brewer
LITCHFIELD -- Archie L. Brewer, 81, of Litchfield died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Litchfield Christian Church. The Rev. Kenneth Woolery will officiate. Burial will be in the Litchfield Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the church.

Mr. Brewer was born on Feb. 3, 1920, at Hazard to Stuart and Anna (Ernst) Brewer. He was educated in Litchfield and graduated in 1939.
He served in the Navy in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1945.
He married
Betty Jane Fread on Dec. 28, 1944, in Loup City. They lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, while he finished his tour of duty in the Navy. They moved to a farm near Litchfield and later bought a farm 10 miles southwest of Litchfield, where they farmed until their retirement in 1984.
He was a member of the Litchfield Christian Church, American Legion, Litchfield Community Service Club and Wheelers and Dealers.
Survivors include one son, Ron of Minden; two daughters, Rhonda Wardyn and Kristy Hird, both of Litchfield; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wesley Brewer of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Gerald DeGroff
BURWELL -- Gerald Elvin DeGroff, 83, of Burwell died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at the Valley County Hospital in Ord.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Burwell. The Rev. Max Kelley will officiate. Burial will be in Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell.
Memorials are suggested to the rural fire district.
Minnie Doty
GIBBON -- Minnie Doty, 98, of Gibbon died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center in Gibbon.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gibbon Baptist Church. The Rev. Barbara Spangler will officiate. Burial will be in the Gibbon Riverside Cemetery.
The casket will be open at the church prior to services for viewing.
Memorials are suggested to the Gibbon Emergency Unit.

Troy Kremlacek Jr.
FULLERTON -- Troy J. "T.J." Kremlacek Jr., 3, of Fullerton died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, as a result of a fire at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Fullerton. The Rev. Timothy Wagner will officiate. Burial will be on Monday at the Stanton Funeral Home in Stanton.
Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
T.J. was born on May 22, 1997, at Dumas, Texas, to Troy and Brandy (Anderson) Kremlacek. He moved with his family to Fullerton.
He enjoyed toy trucks, cars and fishing with his dad.
Survivors include his parents, two brothers, Coltt Kremlacek and Alexander Lorimor, both at home; and one sister, Ashley Lorimor, at home; and his grandparents, Ernie and Gladyce Kremlacek of Stanton and Scott Anderson of Greenville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
