'Charlie' Boehle
Charles "Charlie" B. Boehle, 75, of St. Libory, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Libory's Catholic Church in St. Libory. The Rev. David L. Rykwalder will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church with a 7 p.m. vigil service and rosary.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

James Fisher
OMAHA -- James Fisher, 75, of Omaha died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Burwell. The Rev. Royce Buchtel will officiate. Burial will be in Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, American Diabetes Association or the Uta Halee Girls Home in Omaha.
Vieva Fryzek
ORD -- Vieva Fryzek, 81, of Ord died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Valley County Nursing Home in Ord.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ord Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Jim Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ord Memorial Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Mrs. Fryzek was born March 27, 1919, west of Ord to George and Anna (Pokorney) Burson. She attended school at District 67 until the ninth grade when she moved to Ord, where she assisted a family with two small children. She did this for a short time and then was needed back on the family farm.
She married
Joe Fryzek on March 27, 1937, in Ord. They lived on a farm west of Ord. She had a large garden and enjoyed raising chickens. They continued to farm until Mr. Fryzek died on March 11, 1982. Mrs. Fryzek stayed on the farm for one more year until she moved into Ord. She became a resident of the Valley County Nursing Home in December 1999. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Murdock of Ord; two sons, Richard of Estes Park, Colo., and Gene of Ord; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson, Todd Fryzek; four brothers and three sisters.
Delmar Hersh
RED CLOUD -- Delmer B. Hersh, 86, of Red Cloud died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at BryanLGH East Medical Center in Lincoln.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Red Cloud. The Rev. Anderson Kwankin will officiate. Burial will be in the Red Cloud Cemetery.
Simonson-Williams Funeral Home of Red Cloud is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hersh was born on Feb. 23, 1914, in Webster County near Inavale to Harry E. and Harriet (Wilmot) Hersh. He attended country school at District No. 3 and graduated from Inavale High School in 1934.
He married
Mary Annabelle Kish on March 9, 1937, at Rockport, Mo. They returned to Nebraska where they farmed in the Inavale area. From 1958 to 1969 he worked at the Commodity Credit bin site. He retired from the farm in 1980. In 1992, the Hersh family was named the 1992 Great Nebraska Family.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, James Hersh of Lexington, Rodger Hersh, Richard Hersh and Greg Hersh all of Red Cloud; four daughters, Angela Duca of Denver, Colo., Barbara Saladen of Grand Island, Beverlee Bornemeier of Lincoln and Margaret Gatz of Hiawatha, Kan.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Lois McInroy
KEARNEY -- Lois McInroy, 78, of Kearney died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001 at St. John's Center in Kearney.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Mark Cadenbach will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery in Ravenna.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. John's Nursing Center in Kearney.
Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McInroy was born March 3, 1922, in Buffalo County to Julius and Sophia (Rasmussen) Seifert. She was educated at Hazard and attended Kearney Teachers College for two years. She taught school in rural Buffalo County.
She married
Wayne McInroy on June 15, 1946, in Kearney. They lived in Ravenna until 1982 when they moved to Summerhaven Lake near Kearney. She moved to Kearney in 1995.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Terry McInroy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Debra) Cruise of Pleasanton; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Don Seifert of Ravenna; and two sisters, Velma Gidley of Tucson, Ariz., and Elvena Graham of Ravenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Mike Seifert; and one sister, Irene Kroeger.
Kevin Nowak
ST. PAUL -- Kevin D. Nowak, 40, of St. Paul died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. The Rev. Michael McDermott will officiate. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus cemetery near St. Paul.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a 7 p.m. vigil service at the church.

Bill Topham, 49, of Grand Island died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
