Glenwood James Boyles
Glenwood James Boyles, 57, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.
He was born August 4, 1945 in Seneca, Nebraska to Robert and Zetta (Walker) Boyles.
On April 9, 1969 he was united in marriage to Ruby Krueger in Alliance. He later married Tommiann Zimmerman on December 2, 1972 at York, NE. She preceded him in death, as did his parents and a half-brother.
He worked for Sesnia Aircraft in Windfield, Kansas from 1973 to 1976. He then worked as an automotive mechanic in Alliance, Mullen and North Platte until he was unable to work because of health reasons.
His survivors include his sons David Boyles of Alliance, Robert Boyles of Brownlee, NE, Steven Boyles of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Angelica Boyles of St. Petersburg, FL, brother Melvin Boyles of Mullen, sisters Darlene Osborn of Mullen, Nila Pettit of North Platte, uncles Glen and Gordon Walker of Kimball, NE, grandchildren, Dominick Boyles, Adrianna Boyles and Daniyel Boyles.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Father Bryan Ernest officiating. Burial was in the Alliance Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Prairie Haven Hospice, P.O. Box 21, Alliance, NE 69301 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Dallas H. Thiel
Dallas H. Thiel, 72, of Alliance died Friday at Highland Park Care Center. He was a former Mullen resident and retired from the State Department of Roads. He was born July 9, 1930 in Seneca to Louis and Ida (Posten) Thiel. Four children were born to this union: Lloyd, Elmer, Irene and Dallas.
Dallas married Anna Hiekerdinger on October 7, 1954 in Salzburg, Austria. A son Helmuth R. was born.
Dallas was preceded by his parents, two brothers and sister and wife, Anna, in 1993. He is survived by a son Helmuth of Denver, CO and other family and friends.
Funeral services with military rites were held Monday, March 17, 2003 at the United Church of Christ in Seneca at 10 a.m. MST with the Rev. Linda Martin officiating. Burial was in the Seneca Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Church or the Seneca Cemetery. Mullen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
