Keith Morgan
ST. PAUL -- Keith Morgan, 62, of St. Paul died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 as a result of an automobile accident southeast of St. Paul.
Services are pending at Jacobsen Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Robert Sedlacek
PAXTON -- Robert Sedlacek, 48, a lifetime resident and farmer in Paxton, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in rural Keith County.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala. The Rev. John Schlaf will officiate. Burial will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Draucker Funeral Home in Ogallala. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
A memorial has been established.
Mr. Sedlacek was born April 10, 1951, in North Platte to Frank and Lucille (Hogg) Sedlacek. He received his elementary education through the seventh grade at District 8 School southwest of Paxton. He graduated from Paxton High School in 1969.
He attended North Platte Junior College for two years. He then transferred to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating in 1974 with a Civil Engineers Degree. He returned to Paxton to farm.
He married
Chris Fisher on April 23, 1977, in Ogallala. The couple lived on the family farmstead southwest of Paxton.
He was a charter member of the Paxton Optimist Club and a member of the Paxton Rural cemetery Board and St. Luke's Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Amanda and one son, Ryan, all of Paxton; three sisters, Gayle (Mrs. William) Roberts of Las Vegas, Nev., Connie (Mrs. Kris) Klitzke of Grand Junction, Colo. and Betty (Mrs. Jerry) Smith of Grand Island; and one brother, Dennis Sedlacek of Boulder, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Francis Wiess
PLATTE CENTER -- Francis Wiess, 84, of Platte Center died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000.
Clarann Harb-Biggs
STOCKTON, Calif. -- Clarann J. Harb-Biggs, 58, of Stockton, Calif., died at her home of cancer on Feb. 8, 2000.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Central United Methodist Church in Stockton. The Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home at Lodi is in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Gary Putnam will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of San Joaquin or the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Biggs was born April 4, 1941, in Omaha to Dr. Fred and Loretta (Kaiser) Harb. The family worked for the U.S. Public Health Services and lived in several states until they moved to Cairo in 1954. She attended Cairo elementary and graduated from Cairo High School in 1959.
She attended Omaha Business School and was employed by the federal government in Denver for two years.
She married
John T. Biggs in April 1965 in Cairo and moved to Stockton, Calif. She worked for 15 years for the San Joaquin County Office of Education for the developmentally disabled. For the last three years she was a self-employed child-care provider.
She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and San Joaquin Child Care Association. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crafts.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Sean of Fresno, Calif.; one daughter, Staci Johnson; her mother, Loretta Bockman of Grand Island; three brothers, Dennis Harb of Grand Island, Fred Harb of Lincoln and Herbert Harb of Tennessee; one sister, Elizabeth McCleery of Pullman, Wash.; one stepsister, Susan Melkus of Omaha; and one stepbrother, Donald Shattuck of Minnesota.
Her father and stepmother preceded her in death.
Rev. John Brockmann
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Rev. John Nelson Brockmann, 88, retired Episcopal priest of the Diocese of West Missouri died of endocarditis and congestive heart failure on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Indianapolis. Burial will be at Mountain View cemetery in Oakland, Calif.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Seward.

The Rev. Brockmann was born Jan. 18, 1912, at Berwick, Pa. to George Francis and Mary Jeannette (Harris) Brockmann.
He was ordained and married
the same day, to Marie Louise Sturges in 1941. From 1941 to 1951 he served various mission churches in the state of Nevada, at Yerington, Hawthorne, Wells and Elko. He was the dean of Trinity Pro-Cathedral in Sacramento, Calif. from 1951 to 1953. While rector of St. Martin of Tours in Omaha, he was also chaplain at the Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital.
He served congregations in Nebraska at Seward and Omaha. He founded the Church of the Holy Spirit in Bellevue, serving personnel of the Strategic Air Command. While serving as rector of St. Martin of Tours in Omaha, he was chaplain at the Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital.
He moved to Indianapolis in 1983 from Springfield, Mo. where he had served parishes in Lebanon and Camdenton from 1970 to 1976.
For the past 17 years he served Trinity Episcopal Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stephen and George; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, J. Gareth Brockmann of St. Charles, Mo.
Gordon Anderson
Gordon W. Anderson, 83, of Grand Island died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Island. The Rev. Jim Keyser will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Grand Generation Center.
Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 24, 1917, to George and Augusta (Fjell) Anderson at Osceola. He grew up and was educated in Chapman, graduating from Chapman High School in 1937.
He was inducted into the Army in November of 1942 at Leavenworth, Kan. He served with the 9th Armored Engineering Regiment as a medic. Mr. Anderson served in the European Theatre, including the Battle of the Bulge. He received his honorable discharge in January of 1946.
He married
Gladys Marvel on Dec. 18, 1949, at Grand Island. Mr. Anderson worked as a sheet metal worker for the Union Pacific Railroad from 1941 to 1977, when he retired.
Mr. Anderson was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Shriners, American Legion, Platt-Duetsche, Eagles and Eastern Star in Chapman. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge, receiving his Jordan Medal for 50 years of membership. He was the Jaycee Senior Citizen of the Year in 1981 and served as president of the Grand Generation Center for more than 10 years.
He also volunteered his time by delivering Meals on Wheels for many years.
Survivors include a sister, Ruby Wolter of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers, Raymond Anderson and Lawrence Anderson.
