Lydia Scritsmier
Lydia Scritsmier, 96, of Broken Box died Friday, June 25, 1999, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. The Rev. Jim Stark will officiate. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Govier Brothers Mortuary.
'Mimi' Rudnick
BASSETT -- Remine "Mimi" (Budde) Rudnick, 97, of Bassett died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at the Rock County Long Term Care Facility in Bassett.
Services were June 25 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth. The Rev. George Williams officiated.
Memorials are suggested to the Zion Lutheran Church or the Rock County Long Term Care Facility.
Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rudnick was born Feb. 16, 1902, to Conrad and Gesine (Von Dieken) Budde in Loga, Germany. They came to America in 1911 and settled in Meadow Grove. She was confirmed at Buffalo Creek Church on May 16, 1916.
She married
William Rudnick on Feb. 13, 1921. In 1933, they moved to Brown County and lived on a ranch at Bone Creek. She became a citizen of the United States in 1944. In 1986, she moved to Park Homes in Ainsworth where she lived until moving to Bassett Long Term Care.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was active in LWML, Dorcas Circle and a quilting group. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Ainsworth and the American Legion Auxiliary in Long Pine. She was a gold star mother.
Survivors include two sons, Theodore and Henry; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; a son, Bruno; and a daughter, Mildred Huelle.
Lydia Heesch
Lydia E. Heesch, 94, of Grand Island, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Tiffany Square Care Center in Grand Island.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pauls Luther Church. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Garland and Delores Heesch of Grand Island; and one daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Gail Wert of Aurora.
James Mazour
52, Banker
SUTTON -- James "Jim" Mazour, 52, of Sutton died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sutton. The Rev. David Davis will officiate. There will be in visitation. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's. Burial will be private.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Mazour was born July 5, 1949, in Hastings to Ervin and Mary Erma (Gilsdorf) Mazour. He was raised in Lawrence until his family moved to Wood River. He attended public school there and graduated from Wood River High School in 1967. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he received a degree in agricultural economics.
After graduating from college, Mr. Mazour worked at banks in Grand Island; St. Edward; Red Oak, Iowa; Clarinda, Iowa; North Platte and in Sutton, where he worked at the Sutton State Bank and then the City State Bank. He was the president of City State Bank.
He married
Susan E. Jensen on July 28, 1995, in Sutton.
Mr. Mazour was a member of the Sutton School Board, the Housing Authority and the Commercial Club. He was also a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jason and Cory of Corpus Christi, Texas, Joseph of York and James of Sutton; three daughters, Molly, Jacki and Beth, all of Lincoln; his mother of Wood River; a sister, Barb McTavish of Wood River; four brothers, Tom of Vienna, Austria, Gary of Omaha, Mike of Marshtown, Iowa, and Scott of Grand Island; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother.

Wayne Linder
75, Sales manager
LINCOLN -- Wayne B. Linder, 75, of Lincoln, formerly of Grand Island, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mr. Linder was a district sales manager for Road Builders. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, the American Legion and the Flying Knights.
He coached football for two years in Iowa, was a former member of the VFW, was a general aviation pilot and a Peru State College alumni.
He is survived by his wife, Cody; two daughters, Connie Soukup of Denver, Colo., and Jerri Linder of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Boyd and Barbara Linder of Plattsmouth, and Al Linder of Phoniex, Ariz.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Bonnie Allan of Denver, Colo., Connie Gillaspie of Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Dorothy and Frank Hobscheidt of Nehawka, and two grandchildren.
Garold Resh
FT. MYERS, Fla. -- Garold L. Resh, 64, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Shelton, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at his residence.
Services are pending with the O'Brien-Straatmann-Apfel Funeral Home in Kearney.
Joseph DeCamp
Joseph H. DeCamp, 70, of Grand Island, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tom Ryan will officiate. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Mr. DeCamp was born Oct. 17, 1930, at Omaha to Hewitt and Blanche DeCamp. He grew up and attended school in Neligh, graduating from Neligh High School in 1948. He entered the U.S. Coast Guard on Feb. 2, 1949, serving until his discharge in November 1950.
He then worked as a plumber with his father for several years. He was employed at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, and later Payne Larson Furniture Store, delivering furniture.
He married
Doris "Genie" Witt on April 2, 1968, in Las Vegas. They lived in Glenwood, Calif., for three years where he worked in the construction industry. They moved to Grand Island in 1971 where he was worked at Diamond Engineering until 1974.
He was employed in the wholesale plumbing business working for Capital Supply Company for 12 years and later Winn Elson for three years. He was a custodian for Central Catholic High School at the time of his retirement.
He enjoyed football and watching TV. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Alcoholics Anonymous .
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Gary DeCamp, Floyd DeCamp, Eugene DeCamp, Richard DeCamp, Robert DeCamp and Michael DeCamp; six stepsons and four stepdaughters-in-laws, James and Barb Hill, Richard Hill, Kenneth and Deb Hill, Gregory and Wanda Hill, Rocky Hill and Robert and Anna Hill; a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Donna and George Momburg; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Charlie DeCamp, Mark DeCamp and John and Naugh DeCamp; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Ruben Toral and Marianne DeCamp.
He was preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. Robert.
