Lillie Middagh
Lillie N. Middagh, 71, of Grand Island died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Mrs. Middagh was cremated. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery in Grand Island. The Rev. Jerry Quandt will officiate.
Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Middagh was born May 17, 1927, to Bert and Bernice (Carroll) Evers at Hamilton, Texas. She grew up and was educated in Texas.
She married
William M. Middagh on Dec. 10, 1945, at Austin, Texas. They moved to Grand Island in 1946. She worked as a nurse aide at the Nebraska Veterans Home from 1964 to 1972. She then did in-home care.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Mrs. George) McCormick of Grand Island; one son, Bill Maddagh Jr. of Grand Island; two brothers, J.B. Evers and Billy Evers, both of Cedar Park, Texas; one sister, Miriam Watson of Buchanan Dam, Texas, and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982; one sister, Faye Evers, and one brother, Nathan Evers.
Kyli Coffin
LOUP CITY -- Kyli Sue Coffin, 3-month-old daughter of Marty and Tami Coffin of Loup City, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Loup City Medical Clinic.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Loup City with the Rev. Heidi Revelo officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery at Loup City.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home in Loup City.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Cash Wozniak
ORD -- Cash Wozniak, 85, of Ord died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Ord Christian Church. The Rev. Michael Chase will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord City cemetery with military rites conducted by the Ord VFW and American Legion.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ord Memorial Chapel.
Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wozniak was born March 4, 1913, to James and Pauline (Piersyalska) Wozniak at a farm north of Arcadia. He was educated at District No. 16 in Valley County. He entered the U.S. Army in March 1941 and was awarded the Oak Leaf Cluster and a Purple Heart. After his honorable discharge in 1945, he lived in Ord. He worked as a janitor for Nebraska State Bank and the ASC.
He married
Esther Jensen Manchester on May 1, 1954, at Ord. They spent their married
life in Ord.
He was a member of the Ord Christian Church, and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife; one stepdaughter Norma Miska of Ord; two stepsons, Dale Manchester of Ord and Richard Manchester of Lewellen; 14 step grandchildren; numerous step great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Marguerite Swanson, Viola Howarter and Ann Bartu, all of Ord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one stepson, Lyle Manchester; two brothers, Frank and Bill, and six sisters, Fern Wozniak, Maxine Edwards, Vonda Boulay, Josie Wozniak, Laura Comstock and Sophia Thies.
Audrey Cady
OMAHA -- Audrey H. Cady, 83, of Omaha, formerly of Grand Island, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island. The Rev. Alicia Ring will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. The casket will be closed.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island.
Mrs. Cady was born Nov. 26, 1915, to Adolph and Odie (Giese) Voss at Grand Island. She grew up and attended school in Grand Island. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1933. She then worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.
She married
Addison "Addie" Cady Jr. on Aug. 30, 1941, in Grand Island. He died in March 1990. Mrs. Cady moved to Omaha in April 1993.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Peterson of Omaha; one brother, Erwin A. Voss of Portland, Ore., and one grandson.
Lawrence Frahm
LINCOLN -- Lawrence H. Frahm, 86, of Lincoln died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at Lincoln.
Memorial services were Wednesday at Roper and Sons Chapel in Lincoln. The Rev. Ed Millican officiated.
Memorials are suggested to the Lawrence Frahm Scholarship Fund.
Survivors include his wife, Leola M. Frahm; one daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Ben) Swanson of Grand Island; one son, Larry Frahm of Lincoln; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Laura Chloupek of Wahoo and Dorothy Anderson of Fremont; and one brother, LeRoy Frahm of Ceresco.
He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter and three brothers, Edward, Harvey and Elmer.
Helen Busboom
LOVELL, Wyo. -- Helen M. (Brown) Busboom, 83, of Lovell, Wyo., formerly of Hastings, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings. The Rev. Dean Joy will officiate. Burial will be in the Parkview cemetery in Hastings.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Busboom was born Dec. 15, 1915, to William and Edith (Christopher) Brown in Hastings. She was raised in the Rosedale community.
She married
Glen Busboom on March 26, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1992. She was active in Hall County extension clubs and church circles at Rosedale and Hastings. She moved to New Horizons Care Center in Lovell in 1992.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings. She was an active Nebraska farm wife, and enjoyed gardening, grandchildren and church activities.
Survivors include a son, Lamoine Busboom of Powell, Wyo.; a daughter, Glenda Davis of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers.
Valeria Clymer
Valeria Irene Clymer, 84, of Henderson, Iowa, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. She had been visiting her son Robert's family in Grand Island when she suffered a stroke on Dec. 19.
Services were Thursday at the Hertz Funeral Home in Carson, Iowa. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery. The Rev. Mel Smith officiated.
Mrs. Clymer was born July 26, 1914, at Tilden, one of seven children born to William F. and Tilda V. (Baldozier) Fleming. The family soon moved to the Wales Community in Northwest Montgomery County, Iowa, near the town of Henderson.
She graduated from the Wales-Lincoln High School in 1932. She attended business college in Council Bluffs, Iowa where she became proficient in bookkeeping, shorthand and typing. She worked as a secretary in a Council Bluffs office until 1936.
She married
Earl Lloyd Clymer on March 12, 1936 at Shelby, Iowa. They began a life-long farming career, first living east of Henderson and later moving to Imogene, Iowa.
The family then moved to a farm near Straham, Iowa. They eventually moved back to Henderson into a house Earl had moved from Shenandoah, Iowa. Together they remodeled the house into their home. Mr. Clymer died June 28, 1986.
She loved to read, create handcrafted items and do embroidery work. She had a special love for fishing and trips to Arizona.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (Mrs. Gary) Rutledge of Omaha; one son, Robert Clymer of Grand Island; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Lynn Fleming of Red Oak, Iowa; and two sisters, Carolyn (Mrs. Bob) Mill of Collidge, Ariz., and Wilma Vieman of Treynor, Iowa.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Fleming and William Fleming; two sisters, Pearl Asell and Ida Mae Fleming; and a great-granddaughter, Amy Rutledge.
