Antoinette M. (Ann) Corson, 78, of Concord died Saturday at home after a prolonged illness.
The daughter of Emillo and Julia (DelVisco) Jenovese, she was a lifelong resident of Concord.
She was co-owner and bookkeeper for Tom's Welding Shop in Concord.
She graduated from St. John's High School in 1937. She loved sports, especially hockey, and enjoyed collecting sports cards. She also enjoyed numerous crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas Corson Sr., of Concord; two sons, Thomas Corson Jr. of Chichestser and Robert Corson of Concord; three daughters, Nancy Piper of Webster, Sandra Griffin of Ashburnham, Mass., and Sally Miner of Concord; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Jenovese, Angeline Provencal, Juanina Sinotte and Caroline Savino, all of Concord; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by four brothers, the Rev. Michael Jenovese of Worcester, Mass., and Joseph Jenovese, Fredrick Jenovese and Antonio Jenovese, all of Concord.
There will be no calling hours.
Private funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Virginia Newton-Jones, chaplain of the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, will officiate.
Burial will be in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, 250 Pleasant St., Concord 03301.
Alberta C. Doyle, MERRIMACK

MERRIMACK - Alberta C. Doyle, 68, of Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack, died Saturday at a nursing home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Hollis, the daughter of Rosella and Francis Cave. She attended Hollis schools and was a graduate of Nashua Business College.
She was the widow of Richard Doyle, who died in December 1987. The couple enjoyed collecting antiques and they operated Clarke House Antiques in Northwood for a number of years.
For 25 years, she served as a volunteer with the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center Auxiliary.
She was a member of the Harvey Lake Women's Club in Northwood. She also was a former member of the Nashua Historical Society, the Granite State Curling Club and the Derry chapter of the Sweet Adelines singing group.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nashua and an active member of the church's Women's Fellowship.
She is survived by her mother, Rosella Cave; two sons, Arthur Doyle of Nashua and Arlene Doyle of Hudson; two daughters, Lora Barmann of Boca Grande, Fla., and Lisa Doyle of Merrimack; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Cave of Florida; a sister, Dorothy Storm of Hollis; her mother-in-law, Beatrice Doyle of Nashua; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davis Funeral Home of Nashua.

HILLSBORO - Anna N. Tratow, 91, of Hillsboro, died Saturday at the Havenwood Retirement Community in Concord.
She was born in Bronx, N.Y., the daughter of Alphonse and Theresa Nardiello. She lived in Islip Terrace, Long Island, N.Y., before moving to Hillsboro in 1982.
She was a member of the Meridian Chapter No. 336, Order of the Eastern Star, in Islip, N.Y.
She was predeased by her husband, George Tratow, in 1970; a daughter, Vera Devine, and six siblings.
Survivors include a daughter, Marion Dean of Hillsboro; a grandson, George Dean of Penacook; three granddaughters, Martha Gagnon of Hooksett, Eileen Devine and Brenda Golder, both of Tijeras, N.M.; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held today at 7 p.m. at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home, 3 Hall Ave., Henniker. The Rev. Andre Thibodeau, pastor of St. Theresa Church, will officiate.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Bay Shore, N.Y.
Richard A. Shaw, FRANKLIN

FRANKLIN - Richard A. Shaw, 68, of Pinecrest Circle, died Thursday at Franklin Regional Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Franklin, the son of Irving Shaw Jr. and Vivian (Fish) Shaw.
He lived in East Andover for several years, then moved to the Franklin-Northfield area.
He was self-employed and worked in building maintenance and construction.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of VFW Post No. 1698 in Franklin, American Legion Post No. 49 in Northfield, Laconia Lodge of Elks, and Laconia American Legion.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Nora Shaw, who died in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Avery) Shaw of Franklin; two daughters, Virginia Waite of Tilton, and Mildred Carlin of San Pedro, Calif.; a stepson, Raymond St. Jacques of Franklin; four stepdaughters, Barbara Judd, Beverly St. Jacques, Brenda St. Jacques, and Sherry Sharp, all of Franklin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Leslie Shaw of Elkins; two sisters, Patricia St. Cyr of Manchester, and Gertrude Bellerose of Valrico, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from noon to 2 p.m. in the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, Tilton.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Chaplain of VFW Post No. 1698.
Burial with military honors will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. in Lakeside Cemetery in East Andover.

WEARE - Marion A. Piacentini, 63, of Apple Way, died on Sunday at her home.
She was born in New York City and was raised and educated in Norwalk, Conn. She moved to Goffstown in 1970 and was a resident of Weare since 1986.
She was employed at Hillsborough County Nursing Home as director of housekeeping for more than 26 years.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Frank Piacentini of Weare; her mother, Frances Roberts of Goffstown; a daughter, Lynne Clark of Goffstown; a son Michael Piacentini of Manchester; a brother, Norman Roberts of Norwalk, Conn.; a sister, Sandra Campbell of Bethel, Conn.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. at French & Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast Street, Goffstown.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Goffstown.

Douglas Piper, TWIN MOUNTAIN

TWIN MOUNTAIN - Douglas Piper, 68, died Sunday at Littleton General Hospital.
He was the son of Leonard Piper and Iva (Colby) Piper. He lived most of his life in Franklin and most recently in Twin Mountain to be near his daughter. He worked for many years at J. P. Stevens and then at Arwoods of Northfield for 15 years. He was a member of the Congregational Christian Church of Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel Piper of Twin Mountain; two daughters, Suzanne Ouellette of Twin Mountain and Heidi Moses of West Rumney; a son, Wayne Piper of Salisbury; a sister, Beverly Goodearl of Franklin; a brother, Melvin Piper of Franklin; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Dupuis Funeral Home, Ashland.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin.

Irene E. Dufield, 73, of Hope Avenue, died Sunday at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Claremont, daughter of Fred and Ester (Russell) Dufield. She lived in Laconia for many years and moved to Concord in 1983.
A calling hour will be held Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord.
Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Joel Guillemette, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery.

Virginia C. Peaslee

irginia C. "Ginny" Peaslee, 82, of Pembroke Street, died yesterday at Hospice House in Concord.
She was born in Bradford, the daughter of Hartwell and Ethel (Trow) Clement. She was a 1935 graduate of Simonds Free High School in Warner.
She worked at the Congregational Christian Conference Center in Pembroke and also for the hot lunch program at Pembroke Academy.
She was a member of the Pembroke Congregational Church; the Henicon chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Henniker; and the Star Rebekah Lodge in Weare.
She also belonged to the Pembroke Women's Club and was the past president of the Pembroke Parent-Teacher Association and the past president of the Plausawa Valley Country Club Women's League.
She known for the braided rugs she created.
She is predeceased by a daughter, Lynda Peaslee, who died in 1961.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arnold "Ben" Peaslee of Pembroke; a daughter, Marcia Duford of Allenstown; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Clement of Henniker; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. The Rev. Dan Stauffacher and the Rev. Hugh Topliff, will officiate.

Graydon Clark, CLAREMONT

CLAREMONT - Graydon "Jerry" Clark, 65, of Myrtle Street, died Monday at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont after a period of failing health.
He was born in Henniker and had lived in Claremont for many years.
He attended Henniker schools and was an Army veteran. He worked as a self-employed electrical and plumbing and heating contractor.
He loved children, music and model trains.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Kerry Clark and Larrie Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Barrows) Clark of Claremont; his mother, Dorothy Bergh of Henniker; three sons, Larrie Clark of Claremont, Robert Snare and Gary Snare; three daughters, Lisa LaPlante of Claremont, Brenda Lyman of Troy and Victoria Caffey; and a brother, Barrie Clark of Claremont.
There will be no visiting hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Bernard A. Kimball, WICHITA, Kan.

WICHITA, Kan. - Bernard A. Kimball, 91, formerly of Concord, died Monday in Kansas.
He was born in Hopkinton, and had lived in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Concord before moving to Kansas.
He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1931. He was a retired farmer at the time of his death.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce Kimball of Wichita, Kan., and Duncan Kimball of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, Kan. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Derby Friends Church in Derby, Kan.
Memorial donations may be made to the Derby Friends Church, 1034 N. Woodlawn, Derby, Kan. 67037.
