Harold Landroche

ASHLAND - Harold "Mike" Landroche, 76, died at his home Saturday after a short illness.
He was born in Ashland, the son of Arthur and Annie (Tanguay) Landroche, and attended Ashland High School.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and participated in the invasion of Normandy. He was a member of the Dupuis Cross Post of the American Legion, where he was a past commander of the post.
He was employed a chief of security at Plymouth State College for 19 years, and received an award from the Class of 1972 for outstanding service.
He was a part-time Ashland police office and a former selectman.
After his retirement from the college, he worked at Ashland True Value Hardware.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Ashland.
He is survived by his wife, Rhoda Landroche, of Ashland; three daughters, Michelle Gray of Belmont, Cheryl Landroche of Ashland and Susan Landroche of Ashland; three sons, Dale Landroche of Austin, Texas, Brian Landroche of Ashland and Jerome Landroche of Mary Esther, Fla.; five grandchildren, three sisters, Marie Dustin of Plymouth, Constance Fillion of Gilmanton and Mariene Drouin of Pembroke; and one brother, Sherburne Landroche of Chula Vista, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Military services will be held at Green Grove Cemetery in Ashland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dupuis Cross Post 15 Building Fund, c/o James Cole, Ashland 03217.

Phyllis Davis
BOW - Phyllis Davis, 80, of South Bow Road, died yesterday at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Melrose, Mass., the daughter of the Alfred and Nancy (Averill) Lewis.
She graduated from Melrose High School and the Fanny Farmer School of Cooking in Boston.
She worked as a lab technician at H.P. Hood & Son in Boston before becoming a homemaker.
She was a member of the Bow Young at Heart Club and the St. Andrews Senior Group. She loved spending time in the kitchen and especially enjoyed baking and cooking.
She was predeceased by a brother, Reginald Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Davis; two daughters, Nancy Davis of Weymouth, Mass., and Patricia Buck of Brentwood; a son, Kenneth Davis of Hooksett; a brother, John Lewis of Malden, Mass.; four grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. The Rev. Hays Junkins will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Forest Glenn Cemetery in Reading, Mass.
Frank Bunie
CONTOOCOOK - Frank Bunie, 81, of Contoocook died Saturday at the Laurel Center in Bedford.
He was born in Manchester, the son of Nicholis and Cecilia (Markare) Bunie. He lived in Contoocook more than 31 years before moving to Bedford.
He was a self-employed painter for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Winona Bunie, who died in 1990.
Survivors include a brother, Andrew Bunie of Hingham, Mass.; two sisters, Mary Cuchetti of Bedford and Hazel Schultz of Marin, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Henniker New Cemetery in Henniker.

Micki Kirk
PRATTVILLE, Ala. - Micki (Flagg) Kirk, 72, of Prattville, Ala., the relative of local residents, died Saturday after a long illness.
She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was an active member of Camellia Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Carol Shea, and a brother, Robert Kirk, both of Concord; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friends, Irene Armstrong and Juanita Jinwright, both of Prattville, Ala.
Funeral services will be held today at noon from the Camellia Baptist Church in Alabama.
Burial will follow at Prattville (Ala.) Memory Gardens.

Matt M. McCabe III
LONDONDERRY - Matt McCabe III, 45, of Londonderry died Saturday at the Exeter Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Lynn, Mass., the son of Mathew and Anna (Hartnett) McCabe. He graduated from Lynn English High School in 1972.
He lived in Fremont and moved to Londonderry four years ago.
He was employed by Osram Sylvania of Manchester for 14 years.
He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus No. 7572, St. Matthew Council in Windham; a member of the National Ski Patrol; and a former member of the Fremont Lions Club.
He loved motorcycles, especially Harleys. He also enjoyed scuba diving, skiing and hunting.
He is survived by his parents, both of Windham; his wife, Mary Ann (McLean) McCabe of Londonderry; a son, Matthew McCabe IV of Windham; two daughters, Amy Keefe of Salem and Erin Killilae of Londonderry; a brother, Mark McCabe of Center Barnstead; two close nephews, Domenic Branden and Mark McCabe Jr., both of New Hampshire; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be tomorrow form 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church in Windham.
Burial will be in Cemetery on the Plain in Windham.

Hazel M. Hosmer, SUTTON

SUTTON - Hazel M. (Nye) Hosmer, 89, of Route 114, died Wednesday at the New London Hospital.
She was born in Wilmot Flat, the daughter of Emil and Ethel (Prescott) Nye.
She moved to Sutton in her teens and worked for Harold and Margaret Chadwick. She had been a homemaker and cared for area children as well as many foster children.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George Hosmer Sr., in 1987; a grandson, Timothy Hosmer, in 1986; and two brothers, Harley Nye in 1969 and Wilfred Nye in 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Charley Hosmer of Newbury and George Hosmer Jr. of Sutton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Moore of Eastport, Maine; a niece and nephews.
A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Millwoods Cemetery, South Sutton. Mr. Fred Davis will officiate.

Marjorie M. Weydemann, BARNSTEAD

BARNSTEAD - Marjorie M. Weydemann, 59, of Garland Road, died Thursday at the Concord Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred (Blake) Adams. She moved from the Lakeport area 40 years ago and had since lived in the Pittsfield/Barnstead area.
She worked as a special tester at Sprague Electric for almost 40 years.
She was involved with the New Hampshire Doberman Rescue League in Rochester.
Survivors include her husband, Roland Weydemann of Barnstead; three brothers, Richard Adams of Gilford, Roland Adams of Tilton, and Raymond Adams of Meredith; a sister, Mary Hart of Concord; many nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Perkins Funeral Home, 60 Main St., Pittsfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Florent Bilodeau, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Concord, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead.

CONTOOCOOK - Douglas A. Kingsley, 57, of Maple Street, died Thursday at his home after a brief illness.
He was born in Port Huron, Mich., the son of Max and Thelma (Bartlett) Kingsley.
He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University.
He was a police officer in Lansing, Mich., for 10 years.
He was the owner of North Country Upholstery and Design, specializing in the restoration work and period interior decorating and design.
He was an antique dealer and collector.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fly fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Baranic) Kingsley of Contoocook; a son, Steven Kingsley of Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Paige Kingsley-Morse of Henniker; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord.

MALONE, N.Y. - Cynthia Janes Kimberley, 66, of Webster Street, died Sept. 15 at Alice Hyde Medical Center.
She was born in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Edmund and Charlotte Janes.
She was a graduate of St. Margaret's School in Waterbury and Colby Junior College in New London.
She was married in 1955 to John Kimberley.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church.
She was active in the Alice Hyde Medical Center Auxiliary, the Women's Fellowship of First Congregational Church, the Altrurian Club and the Elm City Chapter OES.
She was a 4-H leader of the Malone Cupcakes.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Charlotte Iverson.
In addition to her husband, John Kimberley of Pembroke, survivors include two sons, Matthew Kimberley of Malone, N.Y., and Christopher Kimberley of Albany, N.Y.; a daughter, Jennifer Savage of Pembroke; three grandchildren; and a niece and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Oct. 13 at the First Congregational Church in Malone, N.Y.
