SALISBURY - Bruno Floro, 83, of South Road, died Sunday at Franklin Regional Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Chicago, the son of Francesco and Rose (Catanzaro) Floro. He lived in New Hyde Park, Long Island, N.Y., for more than 31 years, moving to Salisbury 18 years ago. He worked as a radio mechanic with American Airlines for many years; and later as a stage technician for the Metropolitan Opera in New York City for many years. He was of Roman Catholic faith. He was a member of the International Theatrical State Employees Union and served as a selectman in Salisbury. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eileen (Rayne) Floro of Salisbury; a daughter, Eileen Richardson of Salisbury; two sons, Robert Floro of Danville, Ky., and Thomas Floro of Somerset, Ky.; two sisters, Mary Sonnenfeld of South Plainfield, N.J., and Florence Brosnan of Jensen Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, Tilton. Funeral services will be held in Kentucky. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery, Hustonville, Ky. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Kentucky, P.O. Box 9067, 4100 Churchman Ave., Louisville, Ky. 40215.

Ruth Bonney, FRANKLIN

FRANKLIN - Ruth (Chesley) Bonney, 96, died Sunday at Peabody Home in Franklin. She was born in Newton, Mass., the daughter of Harry and Mary (Putnam) Chesley. She graduated from Buckfield, (Maine) High School; from Bates College in 1927; from Breadloaf School of English; and from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt. She worked as a teacher, starting in one-room schoolhouses in rural Maine, and teaching English at Orange, Mass., and Gardner, Mass., high schools. She later taught at Stratford (Conn.) High School. She was a member of the Sanbornton Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Sanbornton. She founded the gifted and talented program for advanced students at Stratford High School. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Linwood Bonney, who died in 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Akerman of Sanbornton, and Priscilla Bonney-Smith of Andover, Mass.; four grandchildren; three great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be held. Graveside services will be held June 16 in Elmwood Cemetery, East Sumner, Maine. Memorial donations may be made to the Sanbornton Congregational Church, P.O. Box 126, Sanbornton 03269. The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home in Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.

Suzanne M. MacDonald, 41, of Monroe Street, Concord, died Saturday at Concord Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Leon and Marcelle (Cardinal) Defosses. She graduated from Merrimack Valley High School in 1977. She worked as a secretary for the Barnstead Elementary School and at H&R Block in Concord. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Concord and was a longtime member of the Harvest Christian Church, where she was responsible for children's education and outreach. She was a member of the Concord Board of Realtors; served with the Rumford School PTO as an officer and member; involved with fund-raisers and safety programs to benefit the school and the children; and was active in the community for more than 20 years, working proactively for children's issues. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Robert MacDonald of Concord; four daughters, Nicole MacDonald, Sarah MacDonald, Crystal MacDonald and Amber MacDonald, all of Concord; her mother of Concord; a brother, Donald Defosses of Penacook; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Joshua D. Hall, WEARE

WEARE - Joshua D. Hall, 24, died Saturday in Henniker. He was born in Berlin, the son of Douglas and Patricia (Parsons) Hall. He graduated from John Stark Regional High School in 1995 and from New England College in 1999. He worked as an assistant ski rental manager at Pats Peak Ski Area in Henniker. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved nature, skiing, hunting, fishing and trips to Alaska. Survivors include his parents of Weare; a brother, Jonathan Hall of Weare; grandmothers, Mary Hall of Concord, and Lorraine Parsons of Georges Mill; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will not be held. Memorial services will be held tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the New England College Science Building in Henniker. The Rev. Richard Dutton, pastor of the First Baptist Church in New London, will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Audubon Society of New Hampshire Development Department, 3 Silk Farm Road, Concord 03301. Marjorie Abel

Marjorie Abel, 91, of Christian Avenue, Concord, died Monday at Havenwood Nursing Home in Concord. She was born in Seymour, Conn., the daughter of the Rev. George and Clara (Haskell) Abel. She earned her bachelor's from the University of Connecticut during the depression. She taught general science at the junior high level in Brookline, Mass., for more than 26 years. She also taught physical education and coached the girls' basketball team for three years in Bellows Falls, Vt. She moved to Havenwood Retirement Community in Concord in 1988. She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Abel, who died in 1990, and Katherine Frasier, who died in 1992. Survivors include to nephews, Douglas Frasier of Hawley, Pa., and Clint Frasier of Irvine, Calif.; many grand nieces and grand nephews. Services will be held privately. The Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, is in charge of the arrangements.

Everett M. Heath, MOULTONBORO

MOULTONBORO - Everett M. Heath, 86, of Whitter Highway, died Monday at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. He graduated from Franklin High School and studied engineering. He worked as a partner with William Benson in Franklin Grocery, Franklin; began his own grocery business in 1941; and purchased the I.G. Lunt Store, expanding under E.M. Heath Inc. He moved to Wilmot Flat in 1941, moving to Centre Harbor in 1945. He wintered in Arizona and built a home there in 1964. He was a member of the Centre Harbor Congregational Church. He served on the Center Harbor Harvard and Yale Centennial Race Committee; on the Center Harbor Fire Department; and helped to establish the Center Harbor Rescue Squad. He was a member of the Quinebarge Outing Club; the Ellacoya Chapter No. 43 Order of the Eastern Star in Meredith; the Garnet Hill Grange; the Lakes Region Association; master of the Chocorua Lodge No. 83 in 1955, received a 50 year pin in 1977; and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was an active supporter of Boy Scouts of America; a founder of the New Hampshire Grocer's Association, later serving as chairman in 1955 and 1956; honored as grocer of the year in 1976; an incorporator and trustee of Meredith Village Savings Bank, until retiring in 1986. He retired from active business in 1978 but continued as chairman of board of E.M. Heath Inc. He served as a volunteer in the International Executive Corp, for which he and his wife worked in Kuwait in 1978 and in Honduras in 1979 and 1980. He was an active member of the Holiday Ramblers, an RV club, and participated in events all around the country. He is predeceased by a brother, Norman Heath of Franklin. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Madeline (White) Heath of Moultonborough; three sons, Robert Heath of Center Harbor, Roger Heath of Salisbury, and Richard Heath of Moultonborough; three sisters, Miriam Taylor, and Barbara Richford, both of Franklin, and Mildred Cushing of Hopkinton and Florida; a brother, Bernard Heath of Concord; and three grandchildren. Calling hours will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mayhew Funeral Home, Routes 3 and 104, Meredith. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Center Harbor Congregational Church, Center Harbor. The Rev. H.H. Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Moultonboro, will officiate. The Rev. Earl Miller, pastor of the Center Harbor Congregational Church, will co-officiate. Burial will be held in the spring in East Corinth Cemetery, East Corinth, Vt. Joseph M. Mieszkinis, GOFFSTOWN

GOFFSTOWN - Joseph M. Mieszkinis, 84, died Monday at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born in Nashua, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mieszkinis. He grew up in Nashua. He graduated from Nashua High School. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired machinist and worked for the Granite State Machine Company. He lived in Goffstown for more than 50 years. He was an avid golfer. He is predeceased by his wife, Lydia Mieszkinis, who died in 1987. Survivors include a niece, Anne Healey of Manchester. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at the French & Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St., Goffstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown.

Roger F. King , CAMPTON

CAMPTON - Roger F. King, 67, died yesterday. Born in Medford, Ore., where his family had gone to seek opportunity during the Depression, he was the son of Frederick King and Charlotte George King. He graduated from Bartlett High School, after which he joined the Navy and served aboard the destroyer USS Fiske during the Korean conflict. He returned home, married Roberta Dixon and began his civilian career as an ice researcher on Mount Washington and a trail maintenance worker for the U.S. Forest Service before becoming a barber, first in Gorham and Conway, then on Main Street in Plymouth. In 1968 he closed his barbershop to join his wife as president of King Realty Inc. in Campton. But he missed the camaraderie of the barbershop - cutting hair and sharing all the local news - so he opened up a barbershop in his real estate office and went on doing both. In 1995 The Boston Globe did a business feature story on him titled "A Shave, A Haircut and a Listing." In 1994, as in previous elections, King was a volunteer worker on the gubernatorial campaign of his son, Wayne King of Rumney. He loved fishing, camping, talking politics, going to Red Sox games and, most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roberta Dixon King; his son, Wayne King; two daughters, Darlene Jennings-King of Campton and Pamela Maggin of Encino, Calif.; a sister, Nancy Lauzner of Penacook; and five grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Campton Congregational Church on Route 175. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Mowglis, School of the Open, P.O. Box 9 Hebron 03241.

Gregory J. Blazok, BELMONT

BELMONT - Gregory J. Blazok, 31, died Tuesday at his home. He was born in Methuen, Mass., the son of Bud and Cynthia Blazok. He attended Methuen High School, graduated from Concord High School and attended Northern Essex Community College, where he majored in journalism. He worked for Orkan Co. He was an exceptional athlete through out his grammar school and high school years, excelling in baseball, track, soccer, basketball, kayaking, mountain biking and skiing. He was an avid bass and fly fisherman, traveling to numerous states in pursuit of his dedication to this sport. Survivors include his father and step mother, Bud and Linda Blazok of Dracut, Mass.; his mother, Cynthia Kelley of Concord; a grandfather, Ervin Kenney of Dracut, Mass.; two step sisters, Pamela Ouellette of Longmeadow, Mass., and Lisa Dubois of Rincon, Ga.; many aunts and uncles; a niece, a nephew, and cousins. Memorial services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Church St. Chapel at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 No. Main St., Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marathon House, Pierce Road, Dublin 03444.

Leonne Nelson, CHICHESTER

CHICHESTER - Leonne (Levesque) Nelson, 94, died Monday at the Hospice House. She was born in Salem, Mass., the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Richards) Levesque. She attended schools in Salem, Mass., including the Salem Normal School. She worked as a secretary for Thomas Laughlin Company in Lynn, Mass., and Portland, Maine; and for the Porteous-Mitchell & Braun Store in Portland, Maine, retiring at the age of 65. She lived in Portland, Maine, from 1935 until 1988, moving to Henniker to live with a daughter, and later to Chichester to live with another daughter, later becoming a resident of Hillsboro House Nursing Home in Hillsboro. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Henniker; a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Portland, Maine; and was an active member of the St. Joseph's Ladies Guild and Solidarity Group in Portland, Maine. She was predeceased by her husband, A. Leonard Nelson, who died in 1982; a sister, Elvina Lavoie; and three brothers, Arthur Levesque, John Levesque and Rene Levesque. Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Kaul of Henniker, and Shirley Wilkins of Chichester; a sister, Edna Belleau of Salem, Mass.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Henniker. The Rev. Mark Dollard, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held in Brooklawn Cemetery, Portland, Maine. The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.

John G. McKenna, PENACOOK

PENACOOK - John G. McKenna, 81, died yesterday at the Hospice House in Concord. He worked in shipping and receiving for Weeks Dairy Foods for many years. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include a son, David McKenna of Springfield, Va.; a daughter, Sally Shields of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Robert McKenna of Concord; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Lloyd) McKenna, who died in 1991. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. Dorothy L. Parent, NORTHFIELD

NORTHFIELD - Dorothy L. Parent, 68, of Bay Hill Road, died Tuesday at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. She was born in Marlboro, Mass., the daughter of Alfred and Grace (MacDougal) Flint. She was raised in Marlboro and later moved to Providence and West Warwick, R.I. She also resided in Palmer, Mass.; Shirley Warren and Romsey, England; and Mt. St. Hilaire, PQ, Canada. She moved to Northfield in 1971. She attended two years of nursing school. She worked as a lab technician at Framingham Union Hospital and with New England Clinical Lab in Tilton and Concord. She later worked for Dr. Frank Robinson in Tilton and Dr. Theodore Capron in Belmont. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Belmont, where she was a church secretary. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and was active in many church affairs. She recently enjoyed traveling with a church group to Rome and Israel. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Parent, who died in 1991. Survivors include three sons, Stephen Parent of Belle Mead, N.J., Kenneth Parent of Vancouver, Wash., and Brian Parent of Northfield; two brothers, Al Flint of Venice, Fla., and Bob Flint of Northboro, Mass.; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Belmont. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be held in the spring in St. John Cemetery in Tilton.
