NEW LONDON - Kathryn "Kitty" (Kashik) Dunham, 94, of Main Street, died Sunday at Woodcrest Village.
She was born in Algoma, Wis., the daughter of Peter and Appolonia (Welnick) Kashik. She had lived in Cranford, N.J., for 15 years and Long Valley, N.J., for 15 years before moving to New London in 1969.
She graduated from Algoma (Wis.) High School.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in New London and a member of the Women's Society.
She enjoyed gardening, painting and crafts.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Dunham, in 1973.
She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Sanfacon of Gilford, Pamela Root of Eastham, Mass., and Penelope Burrell of Brick, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Main Street, New London. The Rev. Richard Lower will be the celebrant. Burial will be held in the spring at West Part Cemetery in New London.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima, 75 Main St., New London 03257.

Barbara J. MacFarlane, DEERING

DEERING - Barbara J. (Drew) MacFarlane, 77, of Blueberry Hill Road, died Friday at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Lexington, Mass., the daughter of Carl and Isabelle (Townsend) Drew. She had lived in Sherborn, Mass., for 65 years.
She attended schools in Sherborn, Mass., along with LaSalle Junior College.
She worked as the assistant tax collector in Sherborn, Mass., for 10 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald MacFarlane, in 1994; and her daughter, Barbara Carter, in 1977.
She is survived by two sons, P. Drew Carter and Robert Carter, both of Deering; two daughters, Cynthia Paul of Henniker and Nancy Horniack of Hardwick, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Donna Cato of Seabrook Beach; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Harvey Memorial Cemetery in Hillsboro at the convenience of the family.

GILFORD - Phyllis (MacDonald) Morin, 69, of Gilford, died Feb. 11 in hospice care at the home of her son, Philip Hough, in Earlville, N.Y.
She was born to Edward and Lillian (Howard) MacDonald.
She was a graduate of the Downville Central School. She also received a certificate in dental hygiene from the Eastman Dental Dispensary in 1949, an AAS in dental hygiene from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in 1974, a bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) in secondary education and biology from Notre Dame College, and a master's degree in health education from Plymouth State College in 1978.
She practiced dental hygiene for several years at the practice of Dr. Kenneth Achber in Laconia. In addition, she served as a public dental hygienist for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services from 1960 to 1973. She taught at the New Hampshire Vocational Technical Institute from 1975 to 1977 and worked as the initiating coordinator and instructor for the Health Occupations Program in the Laconia School District from 1977 to 1981. She worked as a public health dental hygienist for the New Hampshire Bureau of Dental Health from 1981 to 1990 and then transferred to the Division for Children, Youth and Families as a child protective service worker. She retired in 1999.
She was also the owner of the Maple Grove Cottages and Motel in Gilford, which she operated from 1959 to 1987.
She was a member and former president of the New Hampshire Dental Hygienists Association.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fernand Morin.
She is survived by two sons, John Morin of Cold Spring, N.Y., and Phillip Morin of Earlville, N.Y.; a daughter, Lisa Morin of Gilford; two brothers, Charles MacDonald of Downsville, N.Y., and Fred MacDonald of Harpusville, N.Y.; and six sisters, Doris Jones of Spencerport, N.Y., Dawn Spencer of Binghamton, N.Y., Shirley Grant of Shinhopple, N.Y., Sharlee Horylev of Hilton, N.Y., Kay Tillapaugh of Delhi, N.Y., and Maxine Doig of Downsville, N.Y.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be held in the spring in Downsville, N.Y.

BRISTOL - Ralph L. Shackett, 87, of West Shore Road, died Thursday at his winter home in Holmes Beach, Fla.
He was born in Troy, the son of Isaac and Melvina (Freeman) Shackett. He was a longtime resident of the Newfound area.
He was the founder of Shackett's Grocery Store.
He was a communicant of St. Timothy's Church in Bristol and St. Bernard's Church in Holmes Beach, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Irene (LaPierre) Shackett of Bristol; two sons, Ralph Shackett of Bristol and Charles Shackett of Laconia; a daughter, Shirley Gilbert of Manchester; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Chapel, West Shore Road, Bristol.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Grace Chapel. The Rev. William Quirk will be the celebrant. Burial will be held in the spring at Homeland Cemetery in Bristol.

LACONIA - Patricia J. Aguilar, 58, of South Main Street, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Mass.
She was born in Rochester, the daughter of John & Marguerite (Conlin) Murby. She lived in Laconia for most of her life.
She graduated from Laconia High School in 1959.
She served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
She was a student at the Empire Beauty School in Laconia.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Belmont.
She is survived by her father of Belmont; a son, Daniel Conlin of Laconia; a daughter, Christina Aguilar of Laconia; a sister, Kathy Murby of Manchester; and her fiancé, Dennis Decato of Belmont.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. - Florence M. (Kincaid) Kidder, 89, died Monday at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, where she had lived since December. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of Leslie and Marie (Staley) Kincaid. She graduated from LePonto's Hairstyling School in Watertown, earning a license in hairdressing and cosmetology. She worked as a nail and skin specialist, retiring in 1993 after 16 years. She also worked manager of the linen department at Sears & Roebuck, Watertown, retiring in 1979. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Stone Presbyterian Church, for which she served as an elder and a choir member, and the Watertown Lioness Club, serving as treasurer in 1979 and vice president in 1981-82. She was president of Evans Mills Parent Teacher Association and was the 1961 Sears Citizen of the Jubilee Year for community service. She was a Girl Scout leader in the early 1940s and a March of Dimes ward chairwoman in the late 1940s. She participated in Evans Mills Little Theater and belonged to the Sweet Adeline's, Watertown chapter. She loved music and played the guitar. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarke Kidder, who died in 1983; and an infant son, who died in 1942. Survivors include a son, Clarke Kidder of Contoocook; a brother, Jack Kincaid of Evergreen, Ill.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be held. PENACOOK - Robert "Eli" C. Whitney, 58, of Penacook, died Monday in Meredith.
He was born in Concord, the son of Clyde Whitney and Dorothy (Sargent) Whitney-Ingerson.
He lived on Penacook Street all of his life.
He was a 1961 graduate of Penacook High School.
He worked on the Morrill Farm throughout his childhood and early adult years and started his own general contracting business in 1971.
He was well-known as a master builder and was always willing to share his knowledge and opinion with others.
He owned and developed Whitney Industrial Park, which encouraged many businesses to move to the Penacook area.
He served as city councilor for Ward 1 in 1984 and 1985.
He also served on many committees, including: the Community Zoning Advisory Council, the Tax Base Expansion Committee, the mayor's Municipal Budget Task Force, the Solid Waste Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of Concord, the Concord Business Group and the city's planning board.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and a dedicated supporter of Ricky Craven. He made many friends at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, which he visited in a motor home, through his welcoming personality.
He was known as Robert to some, but everyone knew him as "Eli."
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Susan (Allen) Whitney; a son, Bradley Whitney and daughter-in-law Kavita Whitney of Boscawen; a daughter, Jennifer Habel and son-in-law Larry Habel of Penacook; and a grandson, Justin Habel.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St., Penacook.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

WOODHAVEN, N.Y. - John J. Schneider, 87, died suddenly yesterday at Concord Hospital. He had been visiting with his son and daughter-in-law in Center Barnstead. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Charles and Julianna (Baroni) Schneider. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as an accountant with Best Foods of New York and New Jersey for 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Cochrane) Schneider, who died in 1982. Survivors include a son, John Schneider Jr. of Center Barnstead; a brother, Charles Schneider of East Islip, N.Y.; a grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew. PHOENIX - Milton T. Sidwa Jr., 58, a relative of local residents, died July 26 in Arizona. He was born in Scranton, Pa., the son of Milton and Bertha (Smith) Sidwa Sr. He graduated from the Woodbury High School in Woodbury, N.J. He was the manager of Smitty's Grocery Store in Phoenix. He was a member of the Polish-American String Band in Philadelphia. Survivors include his mother of Bow; two sons, Milton Sidwa III of Mesa, Ariz., and Dwayne Sidwa of Canton, Ga.; two daughters, Deborah Au of Phoenix and Cindy Sidwa of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, Bruce Sidwa of Alloway, N.J.; a sister, Linda Sandlin of Bow; and 12 grandchildren. LACONIA - Frances Adrienne Bisson, 88, died Sunday at Lakes Region General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Charles and Agnes (McLeod) Shastany. She lived briefly in Berlin and Manchester, moving to Laconia during World War II. She attended St. John Parochial School and graduated from Laconia High School in 1930. She studied nursing at the Laconia Hospital School of Nursing and later became a corporator of the hospital (now Lakes Region General Hospital) and the Taylor Home. She and her husband flew with the Belknap Aero Club in the mid-1930s. During World War II, she was active in the Yule Do Club, making Christmas presents for overseas GIs or their families. She was a Cub Scout den mother and was an active booster for the Laconia High School debate team, newspaper, marching band, science club and yearbook. Many pets and plants thrived under her gentle nurturing. She loved to take scenic rides with her husband and family and was fascinated by the natural world. She was a longtime communicant and member of the Ladies Guild of St. Joseph's Church in Laconia. Survivors include her husband, Reginald Bisson of Laconia; four children, William Bisson of Portland, Maine, Elizabeth Kingsley of Saugus, Mass., Robert Bisson of Alexandria, Va., and John Bisson of Laconia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. FRANKLIN - Louise Arabel (Arnold) Bailey, 85, formerly of Damy Drive, died Monday at the Mountain Ridge Health Care Center. She was born in Claremont, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Hull) Arnold. She moved to the Tilton-Northfield area 70 years ago and lived in Franklin for more than 10 years. She worked for several years at the former Tilton Dress Shop in Franklin, retiring in 1978. She later was a foster grandparent for the Tilton-Northfield School District. She was a member of the St. Jude Episcopal Church in Franklin. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Bailey Sr., who died in 1964. Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Pickering of Northfield; three sons, Clarence "Chuck" Bailey Jr. of Punta Gorda, Fla., and David Bailey and Thomas Bailey, both of Northfield; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. ALLENSTOWN - Antoinette R. (Goulet) Breton, 94, died Monday at Concord Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born in Garby, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Phillippe and Clara (Giguere) Goulet. She lived in Graniteville, Vt., until 1945, and then moved to Hooksett, Pembroke and Allenstown, where she retired in 1993. She worked as a textile worker at Pandora in Manchester. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, St. Theresa Rosebush Society, Ladies Auxiliary of the Suncook Valley VFW Post No. 2860, Suncook Cheer Center, Hooksett-ites and Suncook Happy Singers. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Breton, who died in 1995; and two daughters, Isabelle Labbe, who died in 1995, and Rita Rouleau, who died in 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Fleur-Ange "Flo" Mailhot of Pembroke; three sons, Lorenzo Breton of Springfield and Naples, Fla., Joseph Breton of Bow and Raymond Breton of Allenstown; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger Goulet of Graniteville, Vt.; and nieces and nephews.
