Jampal Dennis Furry
NORTHWOOD - Jampal Dennis Ralph Furry, 62, of Newman Road, died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Michigan, the son of Robert and Freida Furry.
He taught social studies and coached tennis at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in Haverhill, Mass., for more than 20 years. He was named teacher of the year there.
Furry was a certified instructor in healing Tao and a founder of the Red Lotus School of Tai Chi and Chi King. He taught in Europe and studied in China.
He was a Tibetan Buddhist.
He enjoyed nature and meditation.
Survivors include his wife, Lun Lun Choy-Furry; five daughters, Leslie, Kaylin, Carson, Jennifer and Jamie; and grandchildren.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Purdy Memorial Chapel, Lee, and Oyster River Crematory, Barrington, is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeannette Verville
PEMBROKE - Jeannette Verville, 89, of Pembroke Street, died Wednesday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Fla., after a short illness.
She was born in Pembroke, the daughter of Edmon and Leonida (Martel) Gagne.
She worked as a textile worker for Arms Textile and Bee Bee Shoe Co. in Manchester before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
Verville was a member of St. Theresa Rosebush Society.
Survivors include four sons, Gerald Verville of Allenstown, Roger Verville and Roland Verville, both of Pembroke, and Robert Verville of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Claire Lavoie of Allenstown; a brother, Roland Gagne of Allenstown; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Ernest Verville, died in 1978.
Calling hours will not be held.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Burial will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown.

Paul E. Nadeau Sr.
GOFFSTOWN - Paul Eugene Nadeau Sr., 85, died Sunday after a long illness.
He was born in Concord, the son of Edourd and Bertha (LaCroix) Nadeau.
He lived in Goffstown for the past 42 years.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a B-17 pilot during World War II.
He worked as store manager for Merrimack Farms and Blue Seal Feeds companies.
Nadeau was a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion of Goffstown.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hazel (Hill) Nadeau of Goffstown; a son, Paul Nadeau Jr. of Orange Park, Fla.; two daughters, Susan Daniels and Kathryn Brown, both of Goffstown; six grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church of Goffstown.
Burial will be held privately in Shirley Hill Cemetery.

BELMONT - Andrew C. Birch, 87, of Mallards Landing, died yesterday at his home. He was born in Boston, the son of Andrew and Annie (Baxter) Birch. He lived in Bedford, Mass., for many years, moving to Belmont 20 years ago. He served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Birch worked as a truck driver for J.N. Muldoon for 40 years and was a retired Teamster of Local 25 in Boston. He was a former officer of Mallards Landing. Survivors include a son, Donald Birch of Lexington, Mass.; two daughters, Carol Ranger of Belmont and Diane Mckenzie of Bedford, Mass.; a stepbrother, Richard Birch; three sisters, Eleanor Hatch, Jean Snow and Margarte Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. His wife, Catherine Birch, died in 1991. Calling hours will be held today from 3 to 6 p.m. in the carriage house of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. MEREDITH - Roy Francis Locke, 75, of Livingston Road, died Thursday at the Veterans Medical Center in White River Junction, Vt. He was born in Concord, the son of Warren and Hattie (Fay) Locke. He was raised in Concord and had lived in Meredith since the 1940's. He attended schools in Concord. Locke worked as a caretaker for the former Camp Idlewild on Cow Island on Lake Winnipesaukee for more than 27 years. He was a past member of the Griggs-Wyatt American Legion Post No. 33 in Meredith. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and country music. He served with the U.S. Army with the 17th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron in Germany during World War II. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marjorie (Woods) Locke of Meredith; a son, Roy Locke of Meredith; a daughter, Carol Locke of Meredith; two brothers, Warren Lacke of Weare and Donald Locke of Loudon; two sisters, Madoline Cantara of Epsom and Gladys Wilcott of Loudon; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. FRANKLIN - Lillian (Henri) Daoust, 101, died at Mountain Ridge Health Care Center in Franklin on Friday. She was born in Manville, R.I., the daughter of Onezime and Mary (Peloquin) Henri. She moved to Franklin in 1959. Daoust attended St. Anne's Parochial School in Manville and St. Morris College in St. Hyacinth, Quebec. She taught violin lessons for many years and was involved in band, orchestra and theater productions. She taught hairdressing at the Hair Dressing Academy in Pawtucket, R.I., and owned and operated Lil's Beauty Salon in Manville until retiring in 1959. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church in Franklin. During her 100th birthday celebration, she received proclamations from President Bill Clinton and Governor Jeanne Shaheen and greetings from Willard Scott of the Today Show. Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline O'Rourke of Franklin and Susanne Price of Laconia; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband, Ernest Daoust died in 1958. RUTLAND, Vt. - Ruth A. Blanchard, 82, died Friday at the Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Tilton, the daughter of Frank Tibbetts and Donna (Bailey) Tibbetts. She lived most of her life in Sanbornton and Hill, as well as several other towns in New Hampshire. She lived in Vermont for the past few years. She is survived by two sons, David Blanchard of Limington, Maine, and Charles Blanchard Jr. of Freedom; five daughters, Mary Blanchard-Boulerisse of Bedford, Ruth McDaniels of Sanbornton, Barbara Summerall of Tilton, Edith Robie of Bomosseen, Vt., and Jane Hanson of Orwell, Vt.; four brothers, Armand Tibbetts, Reginald Tibbetts, Frank Tibbetts and Ricky Tibbetts, all of New Hampshire; 29 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Her husband of 51 years, Charles Blanchard Sr.; a son, Frank Blanchard; three grandchildren; and a sister and three brothers died previously. She worked for many years at Joe's Market in Bristol and also in the Tilton Dress Shop in Franklin. She enjoyed fishing, family get-togethers, and loved to go for rides. DUNBARTON - Robert J. Boynton, 77, died Saturday at the Hospice House in Concord. He was born in East Weare, the son of Jesse and Marguerite (Drees) Boynton. He moved to Dunbarton 57 years ago. Boynton worked at Wirthmore Feed Co. in Concord and Concord Lumber Co. in Concord before working at H.M.C. Corp. in Contoocook. He retired in 1982. He also worked as a self-employed horse-shoer. He played guitar and stand-up bass at barn dances since 1930 and recently for the Woody Roberts Band, String and Things in Contoocook. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Janice (Colby) Boynton of Dunbarton; two sons, Robert Boynton of Dunbarton and John Boynton of Webster; two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. DOVER - Mark Joseph Ward, 48, of Dover Point Road, died Wednesday at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover. He was born in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Margie (Jura) Ward. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science. He worked as a culinary chef at Camel Back Resort in Arizona and as a troubleshooter for Cabletron. Ward loved to read and was knowledgeable about computers. Survivors include his mother of Northwood; his father of Philadelphia; a brother, Gregory Ward of Georgia; and three sisters, Pamela Demo of South Dakota, Patricia Pietrzak of Virginia and Cynthia Goode of Israel. SUNAPEE - Beverly C. Goodell, 65, of Hamel Road, died Friday at her home. She was born in New London, the daughter of James and Elsie (Robbins) Wells. She graduated from New London High School and from Claremont Vocational Tech. Goodell was formerly of Croydon, living in Sunapee for the past 45 years. She worked as a respiratory therapist for New London Hospital for 15 years and for Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon for the past four years. Survivors include a son, John Robbins of Antrim; two daughters, Debra Temple of Allenstown and Jill Goodell of Hartland, Vt.; and three grandchildren. A grandson, Brian Goodell, died in 1997.
