Grace E. Savage, 80, of Concord, died yesterday at Concord Hospital. She was born in Lowell, Mass., the daughter of Irving and Bertha (Spinney) Loveland. She attended schools in Lowell, Mass., and Leominster, Mass. She was raised in Massachusetts and moved to Concord. She lived in Florida for 15 years before returning to Concord. Savage made hand-braided rugs and enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and various crafts. Survivors include three sons, Steven Savage of Concord, Thomas Savage of Northfield and James Eaton of Goffstown; a daughter, Nancy Darrah of Florida; a sister, Charlotte Peters of Leominster, Mass.; and four granddaughters. A daughter, Cynthia Savage, and a granddaughter, died previously. Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Steve and Laurie Savage. Burial will be held at a later date. Stephen A. Still, 40, of Loudon Road, died yesterday at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born in Manchester, the son of Charles and Dorothea (Drew) Still. He worked for Babcock Industries in Concord and as a janitor for other locations. Survivors include his father of Concord; and a brother, Chuck Still of Henniker. His mother died in 1971; a brother, Richard Still, died in 1993. Calling hours and services will not be held. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Ruth A. King, 100, of Pleasant Street, Concord, died yesterday at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born in Boston, the daughter of Patrick and Anna (Hill) McGrath. She graduated from Boston University in 1930. King was raised in Boston and lived in California for more than 50 years before moving to Concord. She served with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, where she earned a WAAC Service Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. She worked as a secretary for Douglas Aircraft for more than 20 years. Survivors include a brother, Thomas McGrath of San Marcos, Calif.; two nieces and two nephews; three great-grandnieces, including Brenda Bailey of Contoocook and Linda Bailey of Concord; and a great-grandnephew. Frederick J. Piche, LACONIA

LACONIA - Frederick J. Piche, 82, of Gilford Avenue, died Thursday at Lakes Region General Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Laconia, the son of Frank and Josephine (Roux) Piche. He was a lifelong resident of Laconia. He attended LaSalette Seminary, where he introduced skiing to the curriculum. Piche served with the U.S. Army in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. His division was famous for its assault on Riva Ridge in Italy and was memorialized in a motion picture about the conflict. He was awarded a Bronze Star and battle stars. He worked as a yard conductor for the Boston and Maine Railroad in Concord before he retired. He was a longtime member of the 10th Mountain Division Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lorette (Cormier) Piche; a son, Ron Piche; a daughter, Diane Rueffert; two brothers, Vincent Piche of Kenosha, Wis., and Eli Piche of Ossipee; a sister, Alice Shost of Lebanon, Maine; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at noon in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia. The Rev. Adrien Longchamps, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Memorial Trust, 291 Union Ave., Laconia 03246.

LACONIA - David L. Sycamore, 65, of Leighton Avenue, died May 22 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Hanover, the son of Leslie and Mildred (Clark) Sycamore. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Sycamore worked as a commercial driver for Daniels Transportation in Lebanon for 20 years. He sang with the Handel Society at Dartmouth College, also recording for the society. Survivors include two brothers, Richard Sycamore of Pittsfield and Hubert Sycamore of Hebron; a sister, Barbara Sutch of Grand River, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of the arrangements.

PEMBROKE - Cecelia M. "Judy" Culberson, 75, of Buck Street, died May 22 at Concord Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Newton, Mass., the daughter of James and Mary (Degnan) Corliss. She lived in New Hampshire since 1951 and in Pembroke for more than 30 years. Culberson worked as a cook for Concord Hospital and Epsom Manor Health Care Center before retiring. Survivors include her husband, Claude Culberson of Pembroke; two sons, James Veinote of Dover and Thomas Veinote of Valparaiso, Fla.; a daughter, Judy Lynch of Valparaiso, Fla.; a stepson, Roy Culberson of Pembroke; two stepdaughters, Joanne Labranche of Contoocook and Judy Ray of Elliot, Maine; a sister, Mary Chessman of Englewood, Fla.; many step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
