LACONIA - David Allan Bridges III, infant, of Mile Hill Road, died Tuesday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Laconia, the son of Carrie Watson and David Bridges Jr. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Timothy Bridges of Franklin; two sisters, Nala Bridges of Franklin and Cora Bridges of Pembroke; grandparents, Wanda and Scott Muzzey of Hill, Diane LaBraney of Boscawen, and David Bridges Sr. of Alaska; two uncles, Philip Bridges and George LaBraney, both of Franklin; two aunts, Amanda Worcester of Laconia and Holly Harris of Tilton; and many cousins. A grandfather, David Watson, died previously. Calling hours will not be held. Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home in Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert L. Weeks Sr.,, DANBURY

DANBURY - Robert L. Weeks Sr., 67, died July 20 at Franklin Hospital. He was born in Warren, the son of Henry and Jesse (Spencer) Weeks. He served with the Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring from the U.S. Army National Guard after 23 years. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and road agent for many years and helped his son operate Smith River Trading Post in Danbury. Weeks enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary (Thornton) Weeks of Danbury; a son, Robert Weeks Jr. of Enfield; three daughters, Cynthia Gemmell of Miami, Ariz., Julia Weeks of Indianapolis and Martha Weeks of Savannah, Ga.; a brother, David Weeks of Concord; two sisters, Ida Shontell and Helen Weeks of Alamosa, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. His parents and a brother, Henry Weeks, died previously. Calling hours and services will not be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Hartland Road, White River Junction, Vt. 05001. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of the arrangements.

Agnes T. Beecher

Agnes Thorn Beecher, 86, of Concord, died yesterday after a period of illness. She was born in Berlin, the daughter of Victor and Johanne (Johanssen) Thorn. She was a 1934 graduate of Berlin High School. Beecher lived in Errol, Colebrook and more recently Concord. She was a 50-year member of the Eureka Chapter of the Eastern Star and was active with the Wilson's Mills Extension Program. She enjoyed music and frequently joined local North Country orchestras and El Bunnell in song. Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Beecher, Sylvia Collins and Janet Colby; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband of 53 years, Homer Beecher, died previously. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Jenkins Funeral Home, Main Street, Colebrook. Services will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be held Monday at the Errol Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, c/o Fayone Cavanaugh, 4 Merrill St., Colebrook.

Charles L. York Sr., NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - Charles L. York Sr., 71, of Enterprise Avenue, former area resident and relative of area residents, died Thursday at home. He was born in Laconia, the son of Pearl York of Gilford. He moved to Florida in 1995 from Loudon. York was a U.S. Army veteran. He owned and operated York Equipment Company of Loudon. After moving to Florida, he established himself in flea-marketing. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Loretta York; his mother of Gilford; five sons, Charles York, Jr. of Laconia, Jeffrey York of Warwick, R.I., Daniel York of Loudon, Samuel York of Contoocook and Donald York of Rochester; three daughters, Peggy Batstone of Gilford; Nancy Wright of Parma, Ohio, and Deborah Dunton of Manchester; a brother, John York of Fairfax, Va.; and a sister, Penelope York of Gilford. The Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth P. Hutchinson, LACONIA

LACONIA - Elizabeth P. "Betty" Hutchinson, 87, of Nutmeg Circle, died yesterday at home. She was born in Watertown, Mass., the daughter of Ralph and Bertha (Chamberlain) Perry. She graduated from Watertown (Mass.) High School in 1931 and earned a bachelor's degree from Massachusetts State University in Amherst, Mass., in 1935. Hutchinson worked as a home economics teacher for one year in Amherst, Mass., before teaching in Laconia for 19 years, retiring in 1976. She moved to Laconia in 1950. She was a member of the Laconia-Gilford First United Methodist Church. She was a member and past president of New Hampshire Home Economics Association; was a member of Lakes Region Retired Teachers Association, the New Hampshire Retired Home Economics Association, National Retired Teachers Association, Opechee Garden Club, Laconia Salvation Army Auxiliary, AARP and the National Philanthropic Educational Organization, of which she was founder and past president of the Lakes Region Chapter. Survivors include two sons, Robert Hutchinson of Phippsburg, Maine, and David Hutchinson of Madison, Wis.; a sister, Irene Morrill of Acton, Mass.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Richard Hutchinson, died in 1963. Calling hours will not be held. Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 500 Gilford Ave., Gilford. The Rev. Dr. Victoria Wood Parrish, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held privately in the family lot in Union Cemetery in Laconia. Carroll V. Annis, HENNIKER

HENNIKER - Carroll Vaughan Annis, 79, died Aug. 17 at Haven Health Center in Rocky Hill. He was born in Bristol, where he lived most of his life before moving to Henniker after retiring. He served with the Air Force during World War II. Annis was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church and many civic organizations. Survivors include his wife, Jane Annis of Henniker; three sons, Richard Annis of South Windsor, Conn., Eric Annis of Rocky Hill, Conn., and John Annis of Placentia, Calif.; seven grandchildren; two step granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. in Henniker New Cemetery in Henniker. The Rev. Christopher Stage, pastor of United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern Connecticut Chapter, 96 Oak St., Hartford, Conn. 06106. Elizabeth Ann Doyle, FRANKLIN

FRANKLIN - Elizabeth Ann Doyle, 71, died Monday at Franklin Regional Hospital. She was born in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Redfield) Dow. She worked as a medical librarian at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, Mass., for many years. Survivors include a son, the Rev. David Doyle of Concord; a brother, Robert Dow of Nottingham; two grandchildren, Alyssa Doyle and Hannah Doyle, both of Concord; and two nieces and two nephews. A son, Dana Doyle, died previously. Services will not be held In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Ridge Resident Council Fund, 7 Baldwin St., Franklin 03235. Louis D. Soucy, SANBORNTON

SANBORNTON - Louis Donald Soucy, 70, of Taylor Road died Wednesday at the Hospice House in Concord after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Hamlin, Maine, the son of Marcel and Mary (Rossignol) Soucy. He was raised in northern Maine and lived in Poland, Maine, before moving to Tilton in 1975 and Sanbornton in 1992. He attended school in Van Buren, Maine. Soucy served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked as a welder for Pike Industries for 30 years, retiring in 1995, and as a custodian for Sanbornton Central School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Belmont and the Laconia Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed time with his poodle, Murphy. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Duncan) Soucy of Sanbornton; a son, James Soucy of Laconia; a daughter, Lynn Sutelman of Gilford; three brothers, Wilfred Soucy of Fort Kent, Maine, and Joseph Soucy and Roland Soucy, both of Wallingford, Conn.; two sisters, Bernice Gendreau of Bristol, Conn., and Beatrice Turner of Wallingford, Conn.; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A sister, Albertine Gagnon, died in 2001. Calling hours will not be held. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Belmont. The Rev. Albert Tremblay Jr., pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow with military honors at 2 p.m. in New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery. The U.S Army Honors Team, 10th Mountain Division, Ft. Drum, N.Y., will provide the military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the Oncology Department, Lakes Region General Hospital, 80 Highland Ave., Laconia 03246; or Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice Program, P.O. Box 1797, Concord 03302-1797. William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton is in charge of the arrangements.

Alice M. Beauchesne, 95, of West Street died Tuesday at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born in Pembroke, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Lacasse) Fournier. She attended Sacred Heart School. Beauchesne worked for the former Reed Laundry for many years. Survivors include six brothers, Paul Fournier and Maurice Allard, both of Concord, Joseph Fournier of Washington, Jerome Fournier of Mt. View, Calif., Robert Allard of Rhode Island, and Edward Allard of Florida; three sisters, Mary Ann Douillette of Concord, Gloria Arnold of Austin, Texas, and Cora Fontaine of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband of 48 years, Joseph Beauchesne, died in 1979. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 52 Pleasant St., Concord. The Rev. Michael Sevigny, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery.
