Albert T. Audet Sr., 62, of Concord, died yesterday after a long illness. He was born in Boscawen, the son of Joseph and Janet (Hebert) Audet. He was a life long resident of Concord. Audet worked for Concord Trailways for many years and for Chubb Life of America for 10 years. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Joyce (Cole) Audet of Concord; three sons, Jeffrey Audet of Deerfield, Joseph Audet of Manchester and Albert Audet Jr. of Loudon; seven daughters, Terri Moore of Boscawen, Billie Audet of Concord, Marie Audet of Connecticut, Lori Smith of Belmont, Michelle Sullivan of Laconia, Barbara Brown of Northwood and Wendy Audet of Manchester; six stepchildren; two brothers, Tom Audet of Canterbury and Ron Audet of Concord; a sister, Betty Audet of Concord; three half brothers, Mike Glidden, Mark Glidden and Paul Glidden, all of Manchester; a half sister, Carol Moore of Manchester; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, a daughter, Sheri Audet, and a half brother, Richard Glidden, died previously. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 135 N. State St., Concord. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, Homecare, P.O. Box 1797, Concord 03302-1797.

Ruth J. Roy, PENACOOK

PENACOOK - Ruth J. Roy, 68, died yesterday at Concord Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Penacook, the daughter of Nelson and Jane (O'Brien) LaClair. She was a lifelong resident of Penacook. She graduated from Penacook High School. Roy worked at Sprague Electric, Champagne's Super Market and Souther's Market, all in Concord. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook. She enjoyed sewing, especially quilts. Her husband, Louis Roy, died in 1991; and three siblings, Vernon LaClair, Paul LaClair and Evelyn Houle, died previously. Survivors include three brothers, Francis LaClair of Concord, Robert LaClair of Boscawen and David LaClair of Penacook; three sisters, Catherine Scofield of Pembroke, Annette Cleveland of Penacook and Marjorie Flynn of Weathersfield, Conn.; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will not be held. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook. Father Norman Simoneau will be celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Penacook. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Hampshire, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford 03110. Wendell J. Harry C. Hadaway Sr.

Harry C. Hadaway Sr., 79, of Alton Woods Drive, Concord, died Tuesday at Concord Hospital. He was born in Plymouth, Mass., the son of Augustus and Lillian (Robbins) Hadaway. He served with the Navy during World War II. He worked as a carpenter and a business agent for New Hampshire Carpenters Union. Hadaway was a member of the East Concord United Church of Christ. He served as selectman, policeman and chief of the fire department, all in Washington. He was instrumental in building the East Washington fire station and initializing the annual Washington Fire Department chicken barbecue fund raiser. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jeanette (Hatton) Hadaway of Concord; a son, Harry Hadaway Jr. of Bow; a daughter, Susan Hofstetter of East Washington; a sister, Dorothy Nickerson of Plymouth, Mass.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Calling hours will not be held. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at a later date in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Sally A. Jellerson, HINSDALE

HINSDALE - Sally A. Jellerson, 63, of Warren Drive, formerly of Concord, died yesterday at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene after a short illness. She was born in Concord, the daughter of Thomas and Beatrice (King) Derosier. She graduated from Concord High School. Jellerson was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include two sons, Walter Davis of Merrimack and Larry Davis of Brattleboro, Vt.; three daughters, Cathy Raymond of Concord, Darlene Echavarria of Corona, Calif., and Nancy Everard of Hinsdale; two brothers, Dale Derosier of Concord and James Derosier of Pittsfield; a sister, Nancy Young of Ellentown, Fla.; and five grandsons. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. in Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal St., Manchester 03101.

Matthew D. Lewis, MEREDITH

MEREDITH - Matthew David Lewis, 22, of Pinnacle Road, died Sunday at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. He was born in Laconia, the son of David and Chantal (Moquet) Lewis. He graduated from Tilton School in 1999, where he was a member of the Tilton School snowboarding team and received two outstanding-team awards. He attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. Lewis lived in Tilton most of his life. He worked in sales and as a technician for Piche's Ski and Sport Shop in Gilford and later at Mountain Sports in Meredith. He was an avid snowboarder and enjoyed the outdoors, mountain biking and fishing. Survivors include his parents of Tilton; a brother, Stephan Lewis of Tilton; grandparents Raymonde Moquet of Chantilly, France, and Virginia Lewis of Tilton; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will not be held. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Fred Andrew Smart Chapel, Tilton School campus, School Street, Tilton. The Rev. Janet Lombardo, rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton, will officiate. Memorial services will follow at the Unitarian Church of Franklin, 206 Central St., Franklin. Martha M. Allen

Martha Meriden Allen, 87, of Heritage Heights, Concord, died Monday at Concord Hospital. She was born in North Stratford, the daughter of Don and Vesta (Cooper) Stevens. She graduated from Stratford High School and the University of New Hampshire, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta. She lived in many towns in New England, including Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She worked as a bookkeeper for her uncle, Aaron Stevens, in his general store and waitressed in Kennebunk, Maine. Allen was a member of the Campfire Girls as a child. She loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener and enjoyed rug braiding, sewing and knitting, tole painting and stained-glass work.. She survived a swimming accident on the Connecticut River in the late 1930 s. She volunteered driving cancer patients and teaching cooking classes at the Friendly Club in Concord. She battled blindness and heart and kidney failure in the last few years. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Marcoux; a sister, Natalie Webb; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her husband, Warren Allen, died in 1992. Funeral services will not be held. Graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind, McGrael Sight Center, 25 Walker St., Concord 03301; or the National Kidney Foundation of New Hampshire, 1 Tremont St., Concord 03301. Walter J. Angers Jr., BOISE, Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - Walter John Angers Jr., died Oct. 29 at Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise, Idaho, after a battle with progressive supranuclear palsy. He was born in Laconia, the son of Walter and Irma (Labbe) Angers Sr. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1941. He moved to Boise, Idaho, in 1968. He served as second lieutenant with the Air Force and served in the Southwest Pacific including Java, New Guinea and Australia until 1945. He later served in New York, North Carolina, Colorado, California and Utah, remaining with the Army for 27 years and retiring in 1968. Angers was a past commander and member of the Boise Valley Chapter of the Military Order of World Wars; life member and past commander of the American Legion, Region Post II; life member and past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; life member of the DAV (Disabled Veterans); and served the Idaho Veterans Assistance League at the Idaho State Veterans Home. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Dale Angers; a daughter, Patricia Bulthuis of Gallup, N.M.; brothers, Carl Anders of Smithville, Texas, and Eddie Anders of Perkinsville, Vt.; a sister, Elaine Angers of Concord; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. His parents and siblings, Wallace Angers, Clyde Angers, Dorothy Angers, Harold Angers, and Raymond Angers, died previously. Calling hours were held Nov. 1 at Summers Funeral Home in Boise, Idaho. Graveside services were held Nov. 2 at Terrance Lawn Mausoleum. Joan R. Yonkers, 86, of Concord, died Thursday at Presidential Oaks. She was born in London. She was a member of the British Army Territorial Service during World War II, in which she served as a radar operator in the anti-aircraft command. Yonkers lived in Bow and Wyckoff, N.J., before moving to the Pleasant View Retirement Community in Concord. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Orie Yonkers of Concord; a daughter, Stephanie Thornton of Bow; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in the spring in Evans Cemetery, Bow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National D-Day Museum, c/o The Eisenhower Center, 923 Magazine St., New Orleans 70130. Mary F. Griffin, LACONIA

LACONIA - Mary F. Griffin, 99, died Tuesday at Belknap County Nursing Home. She was born in Woburn, Mass., the daughter of John and Cornelia (Frances) Starble. She worked as a secretary in many offices. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Griffin of Tilton; two grandchildren, David Kersting of New Boston and Candace Thorpe of Bayhead, N.J.; five great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. A daughter, Constance Kersting, died in 1989. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. The Rev. Hugh Topliff will officiate. Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery.

Dorothea Lunt, NEW LONDON

NEW LONDON - Dorothea Lunt, 87, of Country Road, died Monday at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of James and Caroline (Trefz) Walker. She attended Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., and graduated from Barnard College in New York and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. She lived in Philadelphia from 1979 to 1989 and later in Oley, Pa., before moving to New London 1989. Lunt summered on Chebeague Island in Mane. She was a member of the Embroiderers Guild of North America and was an avid bridge player and needlepointer. She loved traveling and reading. Survivors include three children, Marcia Howell of Portland, Maine, Linda Wolf of Cambridge, Mass., and James Lunt of Berkeley, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, William Lunt Jr., died in 1998. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265. Marguerite L. Tufo, EPSOM

EPSOM - Marguerite L. Tufo, 67, of Colby Road, died Monday at Concord Hospital. She was born in New York City, the daughter of William and Isabel (Zingale) O'Brien. She lived in Revere, Mass., before moving to Epsom 40 years ago. Tufo worked as manager for Godin's Department Store and as a baby-sitter and teacher's aide for schools in Epsom. She was active with the Epsom Old Home Committee. Survivors include her husband, Louis Tufo of Epsom; a son, Thomas Tufo of Concord; and two sisters, Jacqueline Sweeney of North Conway and Betty Murphy of Winthrop, Mass. Calling hours will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. TILTON - MacBeth Bartlett, 89, of the Tilton Veterans Home, died yesterday at Franklin Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Epsom, the son of Elbridge and Mable (Towel) Bartlett. He lived at Goboro Road in Epsom before moving to Tilton in 2001. Bartlett served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a library clerk for the State of New Hampshire for many years. Survivors include a son, Donald Bartlett of Epsom; a daughter, Linda Jagger of Lynnwood, Wash.; a brother, Carroll Bartlett of Epsom; and nieces and nephews. His wife, Emma (Laschkowky) Bartlett, died in 1997. Calling hours will not be held. Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Pineground Cemetery in Chichester. Perkins Funeral Home, Cremation Services & Monument Co., Pittsfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
