DOVER - Eleanor Theresa Roy, 63, of 3 Berkshire Lane, died on Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
Born March 13, 1939, in Limestone, Maine, she was the daughter of Orren and Gertrude (Riley) Fraser.
She was a graduate of the South Portland, Maine, High School and moved to Dover from Massachusetts 38 years ago.
She was a waitress at Alexander’s Restaurant in Rollinsford and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
She is survived by her mother, Gertrude Fraser of South Portland, Maine; a daughter, Mary Jo Butler Taylor and her husband, Kim of San Jose, Calif.; a son, Michael Connors and his wife, Christine of Rochester; two grandsons, Justin Butler of Dover and Eric Butler of San Jose, Calif.; four brothers, Reginald Fraser of Maine, Robert Fraser and his wife, Betty of Windham, Maine, Joel Fraser of Virginia and Wayne Fraser of South Carolina; four sisters, Betty Hashey and her husband, Walter of Bell Flower, Calif., Corrine Rodway of Portland, Maine, Andrea Bubar and her husband, Arthur of Englewood, Fla., and Terry Dupres and her husband, John of Biddeford, Maine; several aunts; and many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Orren Fraser; her husband, John F. Landers, who died in 1959; her son, John Landers, who died in 1980; a brother, Riley Fraser; and a sister, Marie Herring.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph Church, 150 Central Ave.
Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, Maine.

Henry Shaheen
DOVER - Henry N. Shaheen, 79, of 35 Oak St., died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at his home after battling lung cancer.
He was born in Dover on Oct. 15, 1923, the son of Chickory and Mary Frances (Nasseur) Shaheen. He was a graduate of the Dover schools, the University of New Hampshire and Ole Mississippi University Law School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was the recipient of two purple hearts. He was a member of the Dover Post No. 8 American Legion.
He had his own law practice in Senatobia, Miss., and then served as the clerk of the Sullivan County Superior Court for over 20 years until his retirement in 1988.
He was a communicant of St. Mary Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Duncan (Judith Ann) Benney of Weimar, Calif.; four sons, Thomas H. Shaheen of Dover, Peter Edmund Shaheen of Dover, Joseph Michael Shaheen of Newport, Mich., and Mark D. Shaheen of Dover; 11 grandchildren, Ashley Benney, Duncan Benney, Christopher Benney, Peter Shaheen, Ryan Shaheen, Alexandra Shaheen, Nicole Shaheen, Kayli Shaheen, Andrew Shaheen, Alicia Shaheen and Christopher Michael Sottile; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie (Dickinson) Shaheen, who died in 1997; and five brothers, Michael Shaheen, Nick Shaheen, Emile Shaheen, Raymond Shaheen and Robert Shaheen.

Carmelyn Beal
GROVELAND, Mass. - Mrs. Carmelyn (Birch) Beal, 69, of 14 Balch Ave., Groveland, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.
She was born in Berwick, Maine, May 8, 1933, the daughter of Lloyd and Arlene (Renaud) Birch. At an early age her family relocated to Rochester, N.H., where she attended the Rochester Public Schools and Spaulding High School.
In 1952, she came to Haverhill and was employed as a bus driver for Vern Cotton, Coppolla Bus Company, and prior to her retirement in 1998, she had been a 17-year employee of the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority.
A Groveland resident since 1953, she had been involved with various bowling leagues at the Academy Lanes, and was an avid sports fan of all the New England teams.
She was married to the late Willard E. Beal Jr., who died in 1986, and her survivors include her fiancée, Donald A. Denoi of Groveland; two sons, Michael E. Beal, and his fiancé, Michelle Brothers of Deer Trail, Colo., and William E. and his wife, Dawn A. Beal, of Plaistow, N.H.; three daughters, Sherri L. Todd of Fremont, N.H., Lisa J. McInnes and her fiancée, Brian Raynes, of Derry, N.H., Nancy A. Beal and her fiancée, Dennis Houle of Bartlett, N.H.; six grandchildren, Kristin A. McInnes, Michelle L. Cann, Becky J. Graff, Debbie A. McInnes, Michal M. Todd, Aprilmarie D. Houle, and a great-granddaughter Jasmine Betts.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the funeral on Friday at 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Arthur Brady Sr.
HAMPTON - Arthur J. "Hank" Brady, 79, of Hampton, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at the Seacoast Health Center.
He was born in Bath, Maine, Sept. 10, 1923, the son of Thomas and Emma (Frasier) Brady.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and was the recipient of the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star.
Mr. Brady was employed as a ship fitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 30 years and later worked for several years at American Training in Lawrence, Mass.
He was a longtime resident of Hampton, living in Rochester for a few years and returning to Hampton in 2002. Mr. Brady enjoyed camping and was a member of the Winnacunnet Chapter of the National Association of Federal Campers and Good Sam’s Club International.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Vincent and Albert Brady.
He was the husband of Priscilla (Merrill) Brady for 59 years.
In addition to his wife, family members include one daughter, Judith A. Pickering and her husband, Charles, of Hampton; one son, Arthur J. Brady Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Hampton; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Mary Kelly of Mattapoisett, Mass.; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton, Friday at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Romolina Moriarty
DOVER - Romolina "Romie" Moriarty, 95, passed away quietly in her sleep, Monday, Feb. 3, 2003.
Born in Coreglia, Italy, she was the oldest daughter of Giuseppi "Joe" and Zaira (Mattei) Rinaldi.
She worked for many years in the family’s restaurants, which included Rinaldi’s and the Snack and Soda Shoppe.
She leaves her daughter, Sandra Meatty of Dover; two grandsons, David Meatty of North Dartmouth, Mass. and James Meatty of Wichita Falls, Texas. She also leaves four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by sisters, Julia Quint and Josephine Raycraft; her brother, William Rinaldi; her first husband, Arthur "Smoke" Forcier and their daughter, Patricia. She was also the widow of George Moriarty who died in 1972.
There will be no calling hours. Friends are encouraged to attend graveside services being held Monday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. in the lower section of Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover. Those wishing to pay their respects will be welcome to the family residence following the services.

Bernice Spinney
KITTERY, Maine - Bernice Goodwin Spinney, 89, of Tenney Hill Road in Kittery Point, died on February 3, 2003 at the Harbor Home in York after a period of failing health.
Born in Kittery Point on July 18, 1913, she was a daughter of John and Elizabeth (Strang) Goodwin, she attended local schools graduating from R.W. Traip Academy with the class of 1931.
She and her husband, the late William A. Spinney, made their home and raised their family in Kittery Point.
Her first love was her family, she is survived by her daughter, Joan Marston of Kittery Point, and her son, Russell and his wife, Sandy Spinney, of Readfield Maine; six grandchildren, Suzan Field, Robin Lewis, Kelly Spinney, Teri Spinney, Jason Spinney and Jacob Spinney, and two great-grandchildren Caitlin and Kyle Field, a sister Hannah McCloud of Kittery Point, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private, please omit flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Clayton Marston Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Traip Academy, 12 Williams Ave., Kittery, ME 03904.

THOMAS WILLIAM CARSON II
MANCHESTER - Thomas William Carson II, 24, of Manchester, died Monday, April 7, 2003, at his residence unexpectedly.
He was born in Methuen, Mass., and educated in North Hampton and Exeter.
He attended Exeter High School and the Seacoast Vocational School.
He loved music and was an accomplished musician. He was a self-taught guitar and piano player. He enjoyed spending time with his entire family including his father, mother, brother, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He especially enjoyed fishing for trout and large- mouth bass with his father. He loved to travel to his family camp in the White Mountains.
He was a member of the American Legion in Exeter and the Lawrence British Club. He enjoyed Nascar racing and was a fan of all the Boston sports teams.
He worked for Revoli Construction as a truck driver and part-time as an explosive technician.
He was predeceased by his sister, Amy Marie Carson; grandfathers James Carson and Lt. Raymond O’Connor of the Lawrence, Mass., Police Department.
He is survived by his father, Thomas W. Carson of Lawrence; his mother, Patricia "Patty" O’Connor of Exeter; his brother, Ryan of Exeter; two sisters, Erin P. and her fiancé, David, and their son, Jarred of
Newmarket, and Colleen of Exeter; his paternal grandmother, Helen Carson of Lawrence; his maternal grandmother, Lillian O’Connor of North Hampton; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, Mass. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence, Mass. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Thorton.
Kimball Davis
PORTSMOUTH - Kimball G. Davis, 55, husband of Warreen L. (Choquette), of 245 Middle St., died Monday, April 7, 2003, at his home.
He was born in Portsmouth on Nov. 9, 1947, the son of Glenda (Shapleigh) Davis and Junior Kimball Davis.
He was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and was employed for Local 668 of Hooksett.
He was a member of Local 668, enjoyed fishing and loved life, nature and traveling.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda Davis of Portsmouth; his wife of four years, Warreen L. (Choquette) Davis; his daughter, Vanessa Powell of Plains, Ga.; three brothers, George Davis and his wife, Shelly of Wells, Maine, Gary Davis and his wife, Pat of Portsmouth, and William Green of Somersworth; three step-children, Cynthia Swan of Kennebunk, Maine, Shannon Delee of Somersworth and Joseph Swan of Lawrence, Mass.; an aunt, uncle, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Junior Kimball Davis; and two grandchildren, Colby Powell and Marcus Davis.
A funeral service will be held at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, on Friday at 11 a.m. Friends invited. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.

Mildred DuBois
PORTSMOUTH - Mildred G. (DeCoff) DuBois, 78, of 530 Dennett St., died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at the Trident Regional Hospital in North Charleston, S.C.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry T. DuBois.
She was born in Kittery, Maine, on Jan. 31, 1925, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Sullivan) DeCoff.
Mrs. DuBois was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her four children, Ernest R. DuBois and his wife, Margaret of Pascagoula, Miss., Pamela J. Clarke of Summerville, S.C.,
Rochelle M. Ciotti of Rollinsford and Dorothy L. Wulff and her husband, Thomas Carter of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Roy DeCoff and his wife, Iva of Dowling Park, Fla., and Charles DeCoff and his wife, Mary of Lake
Worth, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eight grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Pauline Dixon of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews.

Graydon Gadapee Sr.
ELIOT, Maine - Beloved husband and father, Retired Senior Master Sgt. Graydon H. Gadapee Sr., USAF, 72, of 58 Pleasant St., passed away Friday, April 4, 2003, at Portsmouth, N.H., Regional Hospital.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on Aug. 10, 1930, he was the son of Harold and Eva (Hines) Gadapee.
He was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Vocational Technical Trade School, Class of 1949, and a supporter of St. Johnsbury Academy Alumni Association.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the 509th OMS (SAC) at Pease Air Force Base in 1972 with 21 years of service. He had been a resident of Eliot since 1971.
After his retirement from the Air Force, he operated Gadapee Lawn and Garden Equipment Repair Service and Coastland Dog Grooming for many years. He was an avid golfer and gardener, enjoyed fishing and had a great fondness of nature and animals. His strong interest in reading and history led him to do extensive research on his family genealogy.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 273 in Madeira Beach, Fla., and a longtime supporter of the Air Force Enlisted Foundation.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyceline (Garand) Gadapee; two sons, Dean Gadapee of Dover, N.H., and Graydon Gadapee Jr. of Eliot; two daughters, Bonnie Morris of South Berwick and Deborah McClintock of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Robert Morris, Cara Gadapee, Sean Gadapee and Rhonda McClintock; three brothers, Gordon Gadapee of Naples, Fla., Glendon Gadapee of East Haven, Vt., and Gary Gadapee of East Ryegate, Vt.; one sister, Edna Simons of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by both his parents; three sisters, Erma Baker, Ellen Remick and Ester Stevenson; and an infant brother, Donald.
He will be missed dearly by family and friends who will treasure the good memories. He will always be in their hearts.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Johnsbury, Vt., at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
