Brian Dionne
DOVER - Brian K. Dionne, 43, of 287 Central Ave., in Dover, died Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Exeter, the son of Roger P. Dionne and Judy (Adams) Archibald and is a graduate of Exeter High School. He had lived in Dover for the past 22 years.
He was a drummer by profession. Music had always been a big part of his life. From the age of 2, he would tap his hands like he was playing the drums. At the age of 14 he received his first drum set. As an accomplished drummer, he joined the band known as Savoy Truffle and played with them for 10 years. Those 10 years were described as the happiest time of his life. After hanging up his drumsticks, he went to work for City Hall Market as the night manager.
He was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He also liked to hike. He and a friend hiked the Appalachian Trail.
He leaves behind his mother, Judy Archibald and his stepfather, Paul, of Suncity Center, Fla.; his father, Roger Dionne and his stepmother, Sally, of Rochester, three brothers; Page Dionne and his wife, Deanna, of Enterprise, Ala., David Dionne and his wife, Cathy, of Barrington, Justin Dionne and his wife, Jude, of Hampton; one sister, Lee Anne Batcheldor and her fianc�, Kevin Hudson, of Portsmouth; two stepbrothers, Ken and Dave Archibald; two stepsisters, Michelle Pearson and Shawna Prince; six nieces and nephews; Alex, Jill, Nate, Jaimee, Chelsea and Matthew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
There will be no funeral services. A time of visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., in Dover, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Robert Jiguere
ROCHESTER - Robert C. Jiguere, 78, of 125 Ten Rod Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center following complications from bypass surgery.
Born Feb. 3, 1926, in Glens Falls, N.Y., he was the son of Henry and Alice (Rhodes) Jiguere of Corinth, N.Y.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a New England Regional Sales Manager for several years for Alcoa, he was also a Real Estate Agent for Fred Colbroth Reality. He enjoyed fly fishing with his son, playing golf and was an expert on North American wild mushrooms.
Members of his family include his wife of 15 years, Dorothy Harris of Rochester; his children, Robert Schyberg of Boothbay, Maine, Cynthia Geltz of Orlando, Fla., Lisa Lestrange of Greenfield, N.Y., Alice Giguere of Rochester, and Rebecca Giguere of Rochester; five grandchildren, Robert Schyberg Jr., Chelsea and Travis Niemi and Emily and Jacob Lestrange; two great-grandchildren, Orion and Aurora Schyberg; a sister, Joyce Lemelin of Lake Luzerne, N.Y.; and a brother, Brian Jiguere of Corinth, N.Y.; a special niece, Brenda Guarna and many other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester, N.H.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Richard Keelty
SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Richard E. Keelty, 73, of 49 Butler St., died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center, Dover, N.H., after a short period of declining health.
Born in Durham, N.H., June 4, 1931, he was the son of John J. and Estelle (Kerr) Keelty.
He attended South Berwick Central School and Dover Vocational School. He last worked for M. Blouin Manufacturing in Rollinsford before retirement.
Family members include two sisters, Doris R. Cheney of Concord, N.H., and Lois M. Carigan of South Berwick; one brother, Thomas J. Keelty of Somersworth, N.H.; and seven nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, John W. Keelty and George F. Keelty.
Honoring his wishes there will be no funeral services. There will be instead a family graveside service at the convenience of the family at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery, Dover, N.H.

Robin Maggiore
SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Robin Maggiore, of South Berwick, Maine, died on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at York Hospital, York, Maine.
She was the loving wife of Ken; devoted mother of Julian; daughter of Robert A. Ouellette and Doris Williams; and stepdaughter of Lois A. Ouellette. She is survived by her sister, Sherry Veinot, and brothers, Ronald Drouin and Christopher Williams. She was predeceased by her mother, Doris and brother, David Drouin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was born in Nashua, N.H., and graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1973.
She was well-known and loved in her community for all her volunteer efforts. She was very active in the First Parish Federated Church of South Berwick as youth group leader and Christian Education Coordinator and various other positions. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the new South Berwick Public Library. She was an active member in the York Hospital Breast Cancer Survivors Group and leaves a legacy of her involvement with the Annual Walk for Hope.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5 at the First Parish Federated Church in South Berwick, Maine. The Revs. Donna Lee Muise and Carolyn R. Lambert will officiated. A reception will follow in the vestry.

Those whose lives she touched were enriched by her generosity, spirituality, and kindness. Robin treasured her family and friends as much as they treasured her.
Samuel Rogers
ROCHESTER - Samuel Rogers, 89, of Wellsweep Acres 15C, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, following a lengthy and debilitating illness.
He was the husband of Roberta (Douglas) Rogers for over 65 years.
He was born in Boston, Mass., the only son of Sara and Walter Mills, of Massachusetts and Rochester.
He was a 1934 graduate of Spaulding High School. In his early years, he worked at the former Holy Rosary (New) School, on River St. in Rochester. He then worked for Rondeau�s Shoe Company in Farmington and Wyndotte Mills, and as a welder at Portsmouth Navy Yard, prior to being called to the service of his country. After serving a year in Japan, he returned to Rochester, and established his own business, Sam�s Caf� on Union Street, which he operated for 35 years.
He was an avid football and baseball fan, and enjoyed playing cards. He was a life member of the Elks Club in Rochester.
He was predeceased by his son, Leo Rogers on Jan. 25, 2004.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Roberta) McCarn of East Rochester and Mrs. Jay (Linda) Cleary of Barrington; six grandchildren, Chris McCarn, Mike McCarn, Robin McClain, Jay Cleary, Jr., Douglas Cleary and Joe Cleary; five great-grandchildren, Janet, Noah, Alex, Zoey and McKensie.
There are no public visiting hours. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Rochester Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond B. Wilbur, interim pastor of First Church Congregational UCC in Rochester, will officiate.

Althea Wallace
MILTON - Althea Wallace, 91, formerly of Governor�s Road in Milton, died peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Langdon Place of Dover, where she most recently resided.
Born Jan. 21, 1913, in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of Henry and Hilda (Larson) Johnson; her stepmother was the late Grace (McCullough) Johnson.
A graduate of Wheaton College, she was a school teacher in Dedham, Mass., where her late husband, John W. Wallace, who died in 1989, was a principal.
She had resided in Milton since 1976, having come from Dedham.
She was a member of the Milton Community Church and the Farmington Historical Society. She is survived by several cousins, including Frederic Wallace of Framingham, Mass., and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. at Hayes Cemetery on Nutes Ridge in W. Milton, with the Rev. Robert Walsh, officiating. There are no calling hours, friends are welcome to the service.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Milton Community Church, Church Street, Milton, NH 03851.

Charles Waterman
WOLFEBORO - Col. Charles R. "Charlie" Waterman, USAF, Ret., 65, of 34 Birch Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at his home.
Born in Flint, Mich., on Oct. 7, 1939, he was the son of John K. and Helen I. (Goodwin) Waterman. He was a graduate of Clio High School, Class of 1957, and received his BA in political science from the University of Michigan.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was a member of the Order of Daedalians, Granite State Flight 53; an avid golfer; and was very active in the political community in the seacoast area.
Besides his wife of 44 years, Anne (Krueger) Waterman of Wolfeboro; survivors include two sons, David L. Waterman and his wife, Michal, of Gilmanton Iron Works, and Matthew J. Waterman of Wolfeboro; two granddaughters, Sarah E. Waterman and Lindsay J. Waterman, both of Gilmanton Iron Works; three brothers, John Waterman of Roscommon, Mich., Thomas Waterman of Northfield, Ohio and Richard Waterman of Akron, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews and Wills.
A memorial visitation will be held at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Sally Bruno
NATICK, Mass. - Sally Ann Bruno, 69, of Natick, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Eliot Healthcare Center in Natick.
Born Dec. 14, 1934, in St. Petersburg, Fla., she was the daughter of George R. and Lillian H. (Burchell) Wallace. She was raised in Hyannisport, Mass., and resided there and on the Cape most of her life. She was a graduate of Barnstable High School, Class of 1952.
In earlier years, she had worked as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. She had worked as a telephone operator with New England Telephone, and also worked in nursing.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and cooking, and she was an accomplished artist.
Survivors include two daughters, Alison Ann Bruno of Naples, Fla., and Holly Ann Bruno of Farmington; one sister, Mary Shields of Hyannis, Mass.; four grandchildren, Jonah and Noah Ciccarelli of Naples, Haley Brennan of Farmington and Kimberly Bruno of Stoughton, Mass.; also one nephew; three nieces and several cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Clayton G. Bruno, in 1992.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St., Farmington, N.H., at 11 a.m. The calling hour is prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
Marlene Claflin
ROCHESTER - Marlene Y. Claflin, 71, of 14 Adrian Circle, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Rochester Manor after a brief illness.
She was born May 14, 1933, in England, the daughter of Leonard James and Iris Daisy (Hedges) Porter. She had resided in Rochester since 1953, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed making crafts.
Members of her family include her sons, Clyde Claflin of West Virginia, Royce Claflin Jr. and his wife, Libby, of Dover, Glen Claflin and his wife, Shelley, of Rochester; daughter, Tanya Lewis and her husband, Gordon, of Milton; six grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Porter and Trevor Porter, both of England; brother-in-law, Ken Spicer of England; and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no services.

Dorothy Gagner
GLENDALE, Ariz. - Dorothy Mae Gagner, 81, of Glendale, Ariz., passed away peacefully on May 11, 2004, in the residential care home where she had been living since September, 2003.
She was born and raised in Dover and lived there with her husband and daughter until moving to Arizona in 1976.
Of all the places she had lived while her husband, Frederick William Gagner, also from Dover, was in the Army, she always considered Dover her home.
She led a very full life and treasured the time she spent with her family.
Her husband, Fred, passed away in January 2000.
She is survived by her older sister, Gertrude Davis, of Rochester, N.H.; and her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and William Hayden; and by her only grandchild, Gregory Alan Hayden, whom she loved so very much with all her heart.
In the near future, as was their wish, Dorothy and Fred�s ashes will be returned to Dover and interred at Pine Hill Cemetery.
For those who knew and loved Dorothy, she would be greatly pleased if you want to make a donation in her memory to your local Humane Society or animal shelter.
Richard Stetson
ANDOVER - Richard F. Stetson, 73, of Hall Road, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at home in Andover, N.H.
He was born in Hanover, N.H., on March 4, 1931, the son of Clarence and Stella (Burnor) Stetson. His family moved to Andover in 1939 and he graduated from Andover High School in 1949.
He then completed training as a laboratory (tissue technician) at Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover. Following this, he enlisted in the Air Force and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict.
Upon discharge, he was employed as chief laboratory technician at the Springfield, Vt., hospital, where he met and married Dr. Grace Wright when she was a senior medical student. After a year working at King County Hospital in Seattle, Wash., they settled in Madbury, where he started and managed the billing office for the Dover-Rochester Associates in Radiology, P.A. This he did from 1965 until retiring in 1991.
He moved back to Andover to the retirement home that he and his wife had built some 20 years earlier. While living in Madbury, he was an active Boy Scout leader. In later years he was a volunteer for the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging. Mr. Stetson was a member of the Wilmot Congregational Church. He was a 50-year Mason and a member of Kearsarge Lodge 81 in Andover and also a member of Sharon Lodge 105 in Sharon, Vt.
Survivors include his wife of more than 46 years, Grace Stetson of Andover, N.H.; son, Mark Stetson of Andover, N.H.; brother, Wyman Stetson of Norwich, Vt., brother, Ralph Stetson of Andover, N.H.; grandson, Gregory Stetson of Andover; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2004, at 2 p.m. in Proctor Cemetery, Andover, N.H. The Rev. George Peterson will officiate, and Kearsarge Lodge 81 will conduct Masonic services.
