Theresa A. Jenei (nee Cardone), 62, of Hammonton, died Thursday, December 26 [2002], at home.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School Class of 1958. She was a salesperson for Vets Bakery until her retirement in 1999.
Surviving her are: husband, Alex; daughters, Kathy Heckman and husband John of Hammonton, Carrie McDaniels and husband Mark of Southampton, Judy Shaw and husband Bruce of Sewell; sisters, Angie Lombardo of Waterford, Rosemarie Cardone of Hammonton and grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Hailey Heckman.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church on Monday, December 30, followed by interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Letha R. Caruso
Letha R. Caruso, 46, of Elwood, died Saturday, December 21 [2002], at the Atlantic City Medical Center, Mainland Division in Pomona.
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Hammonton most of her life. She was a resident of Elwood the past six years. Caruso was the assistant postmistress at the Elwood Post Office. Prior to that she was a receptionist at the Chiropractic Office of Dr. Lawrence N. Manzi. A graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1974, she also attended the Atlantic-Cape Community College where she almost completed an accounting degree.
She is predeceased by her father, William Purvis Jr.
Surviving her are: son, William Caruso at home; mother, Rose Roby (nee Lemons) with husband William of Hammonton; brother, Edward Purvis of Hammonton; sister, Linda Tomeszewski of Vineland; grandson, William Caruso Jr.; granddaughter, Schaevon Caruso; uncle, Anthony Lemons of Hammonton and aunts, Mary Paine of Elmtowne and Dolores McCluskey of Clementon.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Landolfi Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, followed by burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Albert Rocco DiGiacomo
Albert Rocco DiGiacomo, 81, of Hammonton, died December 21 [2002], at home.
DiGiacomo had been an office manager for 50 years at Bruno’s Auto Parts in Hammonton before his retirement five years ago.
Predeceased by brothers, John and Floyd of Hammonton, Anthony of Egg Harbor; sisters, Dora Rubba and Louise Bruno of Hammonton, Kate Macri of Solvang, Calif.
He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and loyal friends.

Stella Matise (nee Umoselle), 98, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, December 25 [2002], at W.B. Kessler Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life. She was a retired clothing machine operator at the International Ladies Garment Union.
Predeceased by her husband, Louis.
Surviving her are: son, Joseph and his wife Josephine of Hammonton; brothers, Anthony Umosella of Elm, Jerry Umoselle of Hammonton; grandsons, Joseph and Charles; 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church on Saturday, December 28, followed by Interment at Greenmount Cemetery.

John L. Ford
John L. Ford, 88, of Hammonton, husband of the late Elsie Ford, died on Sunday, December 23 [2001], at William B. Kessler Hospital.
Born in Hammonton he was a life long resident here. Before retiring he worked as a laborer out of Local No. 172 of the Laborers Union. He also was a blueberry and cranberry farmer for many years.
Surviving him are: two brothers, Kenneth Ford and Milton Ford of Hammonton; sister, Gladys Capoferri of Hammonton; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended Funeral Services on Saturday, December 29, at the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton, followed by burial at Greenbank Cemetery.

Theresa Welch
Theresa Welch, 92, of Hammonton, wife of the late James, died Friday, December 21 [2001], at West Jersey Hospital, in Voorhees.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life.
Surviving her are: one daughter Kathryn and husband Louis Benedetto of Cherry Hill and granddaughter, Terrianne.
Relatives and friends attended Mass on Wednesday, December 26, at St. Martin de Porres Church, followed by interment at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Anthony Cipo
Anthony Cipo, 87, of Hammonton, died on Sunday, December 23 [2001].
He was an area resident before moving to Miami Fla. 27 years ago. He worked as a finance Officer for 10 years with Abraham’s Chevrolet in Miami retiring in 1979. He served in the U.S. Navy and flew blimps during WWII. He graduated from Hammonton High School class of 1933 as Class President. He was son of the late Gaetano and Anna Cipo.
He was the dear brother of Marie Monastra and her husband Louis of Atlantic City; and the uncle of Richard, Shirley and Ann Monastra.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 29, at St. Joseph Church, followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Isabelle Unger
Isabelle Unger, 98, of Folsom, died on Sunday December 23 [2001], at Absecon Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Leigh County, Pa., she lived in this area for over 40 years. She was a member of the Unity Lodge of the Independent Order of Mechanics; the Navy Mother’s Club of WWII; the Folsom PTA and former 4-H Leader in Folsom.
Surviving her are: five daughters, Roberta Fithian of Elk Twp., Olive Regan of Swedesboro, Nancy Schuermann of Cologne, Thelma Phillips of Naples, Fla., Tish Unger of Folsom; two sons, Edgar Unger of Berea, W.Va., William Unger of Walton, W.Va.; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended Services on Friday, December 28, at Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton, followed by burial at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, in Folsom.
