Helen J. Aveni Esham (nee De Marco), 80, of Williamstown, died November 18, 2005, at Virtua Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life. She taught in the Walls, Summitt, Kindle and Memorial Schools in Pitman until her retirement in 1981.
Surviving her are: son, Thomas J. Aveni of New Hampshire; daughter, Sharon A. Aveni of Philadelphia; brothers, Medio and Philip of Hammonton, Anthony “Buck” of Bottineau, N.D., Louis of The Villages, Fla.; sisters, Rose Arico of Hammonton, Diana Hanselman of Galloway Township, Amelia Todaro of Cherry Hill.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on November 22 at St. Anthony Church followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Trenchard D. “Craigie” Craig Jr., 73, of Nesco, passed away peacefully at his residence November 15, 2005.
Born in Hammonton, he lived in Hammonton and Nesco all his life. He retired in 1982 after 25 years as a mechanic and truck driver at the Ancora State Hospital. He also worked at Farmer John’s Gas Station in Nesco for 10 years. He is a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the V.F.W. Post 398, Elm, and the American Legion Post 5043, Mullica Township. Mr. Craig attended St. Joseph High School, and played soft ball and was in bowling leagues at Ancora Hospital. He loved animals, especially his pet dogs and cats. He also enjoyed working in his garden..
Predeceased by: parents, Trenchard Sr. and Frances Craig. Surviving are: sisters, Toni Macri, Mae Craig, Lois Enders; brothers, Joseph, Stephen and his wife Joyce; nephews, Charles “Pat” Macri, Art Enders Jr., Mark Enders and his wife Michelle, Jason Chaffi, Steve Craig Jr. and his wife Monica, Ace Enders III, Daniel Enders, Jesse Myers; nieces, Brenda Richards, Loisanne Myers, Patti Enders, Kira Myers, Jane Kulikauskas, Holland Richards, Skye Craig; great-great nephew, Gabriel Myers; many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services November 18 at the Landolfi Funeral Home. Burial was private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Lorenzo Munno
Lorenzo Munno, 74, of Hammonton, died Sunday, July 4 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Macerata, Campania, Italy, he lived in Hammonton since 1964. He was a retired Clothing Tailor for W.B. Kessler Clothing Company in Hammonton. He was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America. He was a former member of the Hammonton Italian-American Social Club.
Surviving him are: his wife, Guiseppia (nee Tritto); two sons, Frank Munno and his wife Rosemary, of Hammonton, and Renzo Munno and his wife Victoria, of Hammonton; two brothers, Angelo Munno, of Italy, and Gaetano Munno, of Italy; a granddaughter, Lina Ann Munno.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 8 at St. Joseph Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

John A. Mezeski
John A. Mezeski, 73, of the Weymouth Section of Hamilton Twp. died Saturday, July 10 [1999] at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, Mezeski lived in Weymouth for the past 34 years. He was a retired supervisor for the Atlantic County Fix It Program in Northfield. He was a former member of the Weymouth Volunteer Fire Co., the Atlantic County Triad and a member of Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers Union of Philadelphia.
Surviving him are: his wife Jean (nee Gardner); his son, John F. Mezeski, of New Folden, Minn.; his daughter, Ethel Hammell, of Mays Landing; his sister, Sophie Scafidi, of Palmetto, Fla.; loving grandfather of William and John Hammell and Holly and Heath Mezeski; great-grandfather of Gail Brickley, Rachel, Kimberly and Heather Hammell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street in Hammonton.
Friends may call Wednesday evening after 7 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family.

Joseph Siligato
Joseph Siligato, 35, of Hammonton, died Monday, July 12 [1999] at home.
Born in Vineland, Siligato was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Siligato was a self-employed farmer working with Blue Moon Berry Farm in Hammonton.
Surviving him are: one son, Michael J. Siligato, of Longport; one daughter, Mallory L. Siligato, of Longport; his parents, Joseph A. and Janet Siligato, of Hammonton; two sisters, Denise Stocker, of Hammonton, and Darlene Dawson, of Hammonton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church on Route 206 in Hammonton.
Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 15 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton.

Lorraine F. Wolfe
Lorraine F. Wolfe, 80, of Nesco, died Friday, July 9 [1999] at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Born in Nesco, Wolfe was a lifelong resident. She was the owner and operator of the family Wolfe Blueberry Farms in Nesco and was a member of the Atlantic County Board of Agriculture. During World War II she worked on the assembly line at the Philadelphia Shipyard and at one time was a salesperson for the Aggressive Dress Shop in Hammonton. Wolfe enjoyed and was an avid reader of many books. She was also an excellent cook.
Surviving her are: her brother, Dr. Peter Wolfe, of Nesco; her nieces, Mary Ann Burke, of Nesco, Lou Ann Whiteley, of Nesco, Kristin Burke, of Nesco, Debbie Burke, of Nesco, and Camille Miller, of Florida; her nephews, Frank Burke III, of Nesco, Billy Burke, of Nesco, John Whiteley, of Nesco, Frank Burke IV, of Nesco, Kyle Burke, of Nesco, and Matt Whiteley, of Williamstown.

Internment followed at Pleasant Mills Cemetery in Pleasant Mills, NJ.

Kathryn F. Aldrich
Kathryn F. Aldrich, 81, of Sebring, Fla., died Thursday, June 24 [1999] at Highlands Regional Hospital in Sebring, Fla.
Born in Braddock, NJ, Aldrich lived in Sebring for the last 25 years.
Surviving her are: her husband George; four daughters, Joan Gray, of Lake Park, Fla., Carole Calabria, of Waterford, Marjorie Aldrich, of Atco, and Linda Kirn, of Columbia, SC; three brothers, David Brimfield, of Braddock, Albert Brimfield, of Braddock, and Edward Brimfield, of Haddonfield; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended memorial services on Saturday, July 17 at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Internment followed at Shreve Cemetery in Blue Anchor.

Taylor and Amanda Meli
Taylor and Amandi Meli, infant twin daughters of Joseph C. Meli and Lisa Tomaziefski, of Pine Hill, died at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Taylor died on June 26,1999 and Amanda on July 4, 1999. Also survived by maternal grandparents Edward and Loretta Tomaziefski, of Atco, and paternal grandparents Pietro and Rosemarie Meli of Hammonton, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were private, and burial was at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Rosemary Monastra MacIlwaine
Rosemary Monastra MacIlwaine, 74, died on July 21 [1999].
Born in Hammonton, MacIlwaine was the daughter of the late Carl G. and Rose Berenato Monastra.
MacIlwaine graduated from Hammonton High School. She attended Douglas College of Rutgers University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Cornell University School of Nursing in 1947. She was a graduate of the Realtor’s Institute of Virginia and was associated with Caleb Stowe Associates and later McLean Faulconer Inc. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, the Cornell University Alumni Association, the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, and Farmington Country Club, a former member of the Waynesboro Garden Club and the Waynesboro Community Hospital Auxiliary. An avid supporter of University of Virginia Athletics, she served as an area representative for the Virginia Student Aid Foundation and was the first woman to serve as a member of its board from 1976-1980.
Surviving her are: her husband of 51 years, William Andrew MacIlwaine; sisters, Antoinette Continisio, of Hammonton, Marie Gower, of Naples, Fla. and Rita Howell, of Hammonton; sons, William Andrew IV, of Charlottesville, Va., Geoffrey Lee, of Charlottesville, Va., John Courtenay, of Staunton, Va., Richard Allen, of Richmond, Va., and Thomas Stuart, of Virginia; grandchildren, William Andrew V, Wilson Stuart, Peter Jameson, Katherine Courtenay, William Allen, Stuart Tipton, and Gretchen Fielding MacIlwaine.
A communion service, officiated by the Rev. Paul Walker, was held at the Christ Episcopal Church in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday, July 24.
A private burial followed at the Monticello Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any contributions be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 103 E. Jefferson Street, Charlottesville, Va. 22902.
