Charles Burt Super
Charles Burt Super, 81, of Elm, died on Friday, September 3 [1999] at the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Grenlock, NJ, Super lived in the Hammonton area and Elm for most of his life. He retired in 1984 after 40 years in the U.S. Postal Service, Hammonton Post Office. A U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, he served in the Naples-Foggia, Tunisia, North-Alpines & Rome-Arne Campaigns and Battles. He received the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and The Good Conduct Medal. Super was an active member of the American Legion Post 398 of Elm, a member of the VFW Passalaqua Post 1026 in Hammonton, and a member of the Volture Local #40 & 8 Camden County Society.
Surviving him are: his wife, Ruth A.; one daughter, Lynn Ann Super, of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, James Nelson, of Hammonton, George E. Super, of Hammonton, and John M. Lake, of Wales, Fla.
Funeral arrangements were private and at the convenience of the family. The family requests memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Henry G. Dayton
Henry (Skeets) G. Dayton Jr., 41, of Vineland, died on Sunday, August 15 [1999] at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Pensacola, Fla., and formerly of Collings Lakes, Dayton lived in Vineland for the past eight years. He was a sewing machine mechanic at the DeRossi & Son Clothing Factory in Vineland for the past nine years.
Surviving him are: his wife, Cheryl A. (nee Mick); two sons, Brian and Joshua, both at home; his parents, Henry G. Sr. and Doris Dayton, of Collings Lakes; two brothers, David Dayton, of Collings Lakes, and Robert Dayton, of Pitman; two sisters, Dorie Keener, of Cologne, and Debra Fera, of Collings Lakes.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Wednesday, August 18 at the Landolfi Funeral Home.
Burial followed at Center Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family requests memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.

Francisca Rodriguez
Francisca Rodriguez, 18, of Hammonton, died on Friday, August 27 [1999] at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.
Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, Rodriguez lived in Hammonton for the past three years. She worked for Castle and Ford Tailors in Collings Lakes, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Surviving her are: her husband, Oscar Rivera; two daughters, Lesly and Gina Rivera, both of Hammonton; her parents, Abel Rodriguez and Francisca Castruita, of Mexico; two brothers, Abel and Martin Rodriguez, both of Mexico; two sisters, Rosalba Rodriguez, of Hammonton, and Zulema Rodriguez, of Mexico.
Services were held on Saturday, September 4 in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Linda L. Urgo
Linda L. Urgo, 41, of Hammonton, died on Saturday, September 11 [1999] at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Hammonton, Urgo was a lifelong resident of the Foslom/Hammonton area. She was a graduate of Hammonton High School class of 1977 and was attending Atlantic Cape Community College, Mays Landing where she was majoring in a computer science course. She was employed as a machine operator at the AHP Wyeth-Ayrst Pharmaceutical Co. in Cherry Hill and formerly the Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton for the past 19 years. Linda loved to travel and her hobbies were gardening, boating and fishing.
Surviving her are: her husband, Thomas S.; her mother, Louise Killian, of Folsom; three sisters, Kathy Killian, of Ohio, Karen Heredia, of Collings Lakes, and Anna Marsi, of Clementon, NJ; four brothers, Charles Killian, of Folsom, Keith Killian, of Folsom, Kevin Killian, of Folsom, and David Killian, of Mich.; her mother- and father-in-law, Thomas and Betty Urgo, of Hammonton; and a brother-in-law, Steve Urgo, of South Hampton, NJ.
Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at the Landolfi Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Agnes Cappuccio
Agnes Cappuccio, 92, of Hammonton, died Sunday, September 5 [1999] at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Cappuccio was a lifelong Hammonton resident. She was a member of the St. Joseph Rosary Altar Society.
Surviving her are: her son, Angelo Cappuccio, of Hammonton; two daughters, Roseann Evangelisti, of Marlton, and Rita Kenny, of Monmouth Beach, NJ; two sisters, Josephine Universe, of Hammonton, and Rose Caruso, of Hammonton; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 8 at St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Anthony C. Macri
Anthony C. Macri, 99, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, September 14 [1999] at home.
A lifelong resident of Hammonton, Macri was a member of Hammonton Town Council from 1938-40 and retired from farming in 1962. He was predeceased by his son, Anthony “Ike” Macri.
Surviving him are: his wife, Clara (nee Pullia); two daughters, Jeanette and her husband Hugh LaMonaca, of Hammonton, and Mary Ann and her husband Steve Dougherty, of Davidsonville, Md.; daughter-in-law Dolores Macri, of Atco; a brother, Angelo Macri, of Hammonton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 18 at St. Joseph Church in Hammonton.
Internment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Dominic Juliano
Dominic Juliano, 86, of Landisville, died Thursday, September 16 [1999] at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, Juliano was raised in Hammonton for many years before moving to Landisville in 1953. He retired from Wheaton Glass Co. in 1976 after 16 years in quality control. He was a member of Local #219 Glass Bottle Blowers Association. After retirement he worked part-time at Buena Vista Motel and Days Inn Motel. He served in the US Army during WWII in the 43rd Division Infantry in the Pacific Theater. He received the Bronze Star and Combat Badges. He reenlisted in 1948 and served 14 months in Korean Conflict 9th Corps Artillery and received a Commendation Ribbon. He was awarded the NJ Distinguished Service Medal in 1993.
Surviving him are: three daughters, Jacqueline Cecere, of Vineland, Kathleen Guzman, of Millville, and Donna Wolfe, of Williamstown; loving grandfather of Michael Cecere, Karen Hyson, Jennifer Wolfe and Michael Guzman.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 20 at Our Lady of Victories Church in Landisville.
Burial followed at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery.

Julia E. Lawton
Julia E. Lawton, 91, of Hammonton, died Sunday, September 12 [1999], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Newington, GA, Lawton was a resident of this area for 55 years. She worked at Deer Park Baking Co. in Hammonton before retiring. She was a member of the First Union Baptist Church in Newtonville.
Surviving her are: two sons, Ernest Lawton Jr., of Philadelphia, and Charles A. Lawton Sr., of Hammonton; three daughters, Viella Durham, of Philadelphia, Anna B. Wood, of Tucson, Ariz., and Reverend Doctor Lillie L. Travis of Washington, DC; thirty-six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Monday, September 20 at First Union Baptist Church in Newtonville.
Burial followed at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Newtonville.

Dorothy M. Caruso
Dorothy M. Caruso (nee Cramer), 80, of Hammonton, died Monday, September 13 [1999] at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Egg Harbor, Caruso lived in Hammonton most of her life. She formerly worked at IGI Laboratories in Buena until her retirement in 1993. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Caruso.
Surviving her are: two sons, Benjamin Caruso Jr., of Hammonton, and Dominic Caruso, of Woodbury; a daughter, Cheryl and her husband Sam Re, of Hammonton; a brother, Wilbert Cramer, of Lower Bank, NJ; two sisters, Miriam Campione, of Port Republic, and Vivian Tayman, of Sarasota, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
