Valerie A. Taylor, 20, of Hammonton, died Monday, November 22 [1999] at Elmer Hospital in Elmer, NJ.
Born in Vineland, Taylor lived in Hammonton most of her life. Taylor was a teller at Commerce Bank of Atco. She was a 1997 graduate of Hammonton High School and during her early education she attended St. Mary’s School in Williamstown and Folsom Elementary. She was a Color Guard at Hammonton High and also a former Girl Scout
Surviving her are: her parents, John and Nancy (Migliaccio) Taylor; her father John and stepmother JoAnn Starn, of Millville; her brother, Michael Taylor, of Hammonton; her fiancee David Fedga, of Hammonton; her sister Jennifer Starn, of Millville; her brother, John Starn, of Millville; paternal grandparents Boardman and Ethel Taylor, of Cape May Courthouse; and her paternal grandfather, Edwin R. Starn Jr.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Nancy and Sam Migliaccio and Elizabeth Annello-Starn-Crescenzo.
She touched so many lives and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her cockitiel Sunshine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church on S. Egg Harbor Rd. in Hammonton. Friends may call Friday after 9 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home at 102 N. Third St. in Hammonton.
Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Josephine Sasso
Josephine Sasso, 90, of Hammonton, and formerly of Boston, Mass., died Thursday, November 18 [1999] at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Boston, Mass., Sasso lived in Hammonton for the past two years. Sasso was a supervisor for A. Rivitz & Co., in Boston and she belonged to the St. Lucy’s Society in Boston.
Surviving her are: her daughter, Reverend Rose Maria Sasso-Crandall and her husband Reverend Charles Sasso-Crandall of Hammonton; two granddaughters, Cara Crandall, of Boston; and Collette Crandall, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one great-grandson, Andrew Crandall, of Boston; one brother, Alfred Palladino, of Saugus, Mass.; her niece, Jean Bates, of Stoneham, Mass.; her godchild, Joanne Bates, of Stoneham, Mass.; and her extended family at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Friday, November 19 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Hammonton.
Burial was be in Boston on Monday, November 22.

William H. Salvia
William H. Salvia, 79, of Folsom, died Monday, November 22 [1999] at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Phila., Pa., Salvia lived in Folsom for 45 years. Salvia was a retired businessman and he owned and operated Salvia Grocery Store in Collings Lakes. He was a former member of the Folsom Planning Board, and was recently honored for being their first chairman. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 186 of Hammonton. Salvia was the husband of the late Marie Salvia.
Surviving him are: two sons, Albert Salvia, of Folsom, and Anthony Salvia, of Berlin; one daughter, Donna Sutts, of Folsom; two brothers, Joseph Salvia, of Turnersville, and John Salvia, of Southampton, Pa.; one sister, Angelina Pernisi, of Phila., Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Marie Silvia, of Warminster, Pa., and Eileen Lanzetta, of Phila, Pa.; five grandchildren, William Salvia, Trisia Salvia, Chris Salvia, Stacey Sutts and Michael Sutts; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cheltenham, Pa.

Marie S. Zeitler
Marie S. Zeitler, 63, of Hammonton, died Monday, October 18 [1999] at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Zeitler was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1997 and was employed in the office of the Hershey Ice Cream Co. of Hammonton after 23 years. She was an active member of the St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hammonton and an honorary member of the Hammonton Rescue Squad. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: her husband, Randy; three daughters, Victoria Titone, of Burlington, NJ, Denise Carlson, of Mays Landing, and Dona M. Burke, of Hammonton; one brother, Sonny Pace, of Mays Landing; and six grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a funeral liturgy mass on Friday, October 22 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hammonton.
Internment followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Patricia A. Capozza, 51, of Hammonton, died on Wednesday, October 20 [1999] at her residence.
Born in Camden, she was a resident of Hammonton all her life. Capozza was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1967. She was employed as a telemarketer at the Thermo-Guard Inc. of Elm.
Surviving her are her parents, Anthony and Anne Capozza; a sister, Rose Marie Scheeler and husband John and their daughter Jackie, of Mays Landing.

Jerry Vitalo
Jerry C. Vitalo Sr., 73, of Hammonton, died Saturday, October 16 [1999], in Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Fla.
Vitalo was a retired independent insurance agent, and was the former owner of Sure Insurance. He was a Past Commander of the F.A. Funston Post #186 of the American Legion in Hammonton, and was past president of the Atlantic County Independent Insurance Agents of New Jersey. He started the Drum and Bugle Corps at St. Joseph’s High School, where he was a music teacher, and was second in his class at the Julliard School of Music in New York. Vitalo was a former court clerk in Hammonton and he originated the Kingsman Band.
Surviving him are: two sons, Jerry C. Vitalo Jr., of Hammonton, and Jeffrey C. Vitalo, of Hammonton; one daughter, JoAnn Crane, of Cape Coral, Fla.; one brother, Daniel Vitalo, of Folsom; and seven grandchildren.

Charles E. McGrath
Charles E. McGrath Jr., 83, of the Pleasant Mills section of Mullica Twp. died Friday, September 24 [1999] at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, McGrath lived in Lincoln Park, NJ for many years before moving to Pleasant Mills in 1986. He was a retired executive for the Prudential Insurance Company of Newark, where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 1962. He attended Rutgers University for two years.
McGrath served in the US Army during World War II. He was a past town councilman from 1952 to 1956, and served as Captain of the Fire Department and won an award for building Lincoln Park Lake all in Lincoln Park, NJ. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church of Lincoln Park. He is the husband of the late Violet M. McGrath (nee McSweeny).
Surviving him are: two sons, William K. McGrath and his wife Diane, of Pleasant Mills, and Dr. Charles E. McGrath and his wife Janice of Independence, Mo.; a daughter, Michele and her husband Randall Butler of Sumerdale, Al.; a brother, James McGrath, of Redondo Beach, Ca.; and he was the loving grandfather of Megan, Charles IV, Sean, Erin, Frank and Billy.

Mary Ann Massi
Mary Ann (Villari) Massi, 52, of Absecon, died Saturday, September 18 [1999] at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Hammonton, Massi lived in Absecon for nine years. Massi was a self-employed crafter. She formerly worked as a dealer at Harrah’s Casino and was previously employed at Spencer Gifts. Massi was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School.
Surviving her are: her husband, Mark A.; her parents, Leon A. and Antoinette Villari, of Mullica Twp.; her sister, Diane Wilson, of N. Cape May; a step-daughter, Mary Jo Massi, of Roebling, NH; her nephew, Robert Friant, of Medford Lakes, NJ; and her niece, Michele O’Neill, of Millville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Edith Cappuccio
Edith Cappuccio (nee Centurione), 79, of Hammonton died Tuesday, September 21 [1999] at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Cappuccio was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. She was a member of the St. Martin DePorres RC Church in Hammonton. She was the wife of the late S. Paul Cappuccio.
Surviving her are: three sons, Paul Cappuccio and his wife Dorothy, of Hammonton, Anthony Cappuccio, of Hammonton, and David Cappuccio and his wife Barbara, of Folsom; one daughter, Karen Rutter and her husband Chuck, of Williamstown; three brothers, Daniel Centurione, of Mantua, NJ, Carty Centurione, of Hammonton, and Anthony Centurione, of Camp Hill, Pa; seven grandchildren David, Anthony, Paula, Kristi, Stephen, Robert and Paul; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline.
She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Lori and Dean.

Rose T. Casiano
Rose T. Casiano (nee Scalia), 54, of Cape Coral, Fla., died Wednesday, September 22 [1999] at her residence.
Born in Bronx, NY, Casiano lived in Nesco, Mullica Twp. for many years before moving to Florida. She retired from Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in 1999 after 33 years as an LP Nurse.
Surviving her are: her husband, Pasquale; and her sister, Dolores Neace, of Hammonton.

Stella B. Sacco
Stella B. Sacco, 93, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, September 21 [1999] at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Sacco was a lifelong resident. Before retiring she worked for St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton, where she was a member of its Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving her are: one daughter, Mae G. Sacco, of Hammonton; three sons and their wives, Anthony P. and Judy Sacco, of Hammonton, Nuncie J. and Kathleen Sacco, of Linwood, and Frank B. and Nancy Sacco, of Hammonton; eleven grandchildren, Linda, Janet, Anthony, Nicole, Brian, John, Michael, Stephen, Mark, Frank, and Rose Ann; and eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Lisa, Stephanie, Frankie, Steven, Sarah, Jessica, and Emily.
