Theresa Domenico
Theresa (Terri) Domenico (Merlino), 79, of Hammonton, died Sunday, June 4 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Domenico was a lifelong resident. She was an office supervisor for W. B. Kessler Clothing Mfg. in Hammonton for 27 years until her retirement in 1982. She was also involved with Hickman’s Family Seafood business of Ocean City for many years. She graduated from Hammonton High School Class of 1938 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Stella Maris Club.
Surviving her are: her husband, John Domenico; one sister, Rose and her husband Charles Ordille, of Hammonton; one niece, Suzanne Oddo; three nephews, Charles and David Ordille and William Domenico.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Rt. 206 in Hammonton.
Entombment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Millie C. Comunale
Millie C. (nee Colasurdo) Comunale, 103, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, May 30 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Italy, Comunale lived in Hammonton for 98 years. She was a sewing machine operator for Hammonton Park Clothes and a former member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 186 of the American Legion F. A. Funston Post in Hammonton.
Comunale was the mother of the late William Comunale and Mildred Speciali.
Surviving her are: her daughter and son-in-law Marie and John Amendolia, of Hammonton; one brother, Rocco Colasurdo, of Hammonton; one sister, Sarah Ruggeri, of California; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 3, at St. Martin de Porres RC Church.
Entombment followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Ella M. Stubbe
Ella M. Stubbe (Davis), 69, of Mays Landing, died Sunday, May 28 [2000], at home.
Born in Bridgeton, Stubbe moved to Nesco in 1950 where she raised her family and in 1972 moved to Absecon. After retirement, Ella and her husband Bill enjoyed their residents and friends at Deal Island, Md., and Everglades City, Fla.
Surviving her are: her husband, William H. Sr.; her step-mother, Evelyn Davis, of Bridgeton; one son, Wimler H. Stubbe Jr. and his wife Helena, of Sweetwater; one daughter, Beatrice M. and her husband Herbert A. Chalk Jr., of Mays Landing; two brothers, Dale Davis, of Vineland, and Leonard Davis of Tenn.; five grandchildren, Breanne M. and Daniel C. Chalk, of Mays Landing, Renee Norcross, of Sweetwater, Steven Leon Stubbe, of Virginia, Wilmer H. Stubbe III and his wife Stacy, of Virginia; and great-grandchildren Jacqueline and Samantha Stubbe, of Virginia, and Dylan Keller of Egg Harbor.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
Internment was at St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Folsom.

Jennie Crescenzo
Jennie Crescenzo, 95, of Hammonton, wife of the late William, died Sunday, June 11 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Hammonton, Crescenzo was an area resident all her life. She was cofounder of W. Crescenzo Inc., which was started in 1938, and was involved with the business until her retirement in 1970. She was a member of the Altar Rose Society of St. Joseph Church, Catholic Daughters of America #1680, and the Tabernacle Society of Hammonton.
Surviving her are: William H. Crescenzo, of Hammonton, Dr. Donald P. Crescenzo, of Hammonton, and Robert Crescenzo, of Hammonton; one daughter, Rita Mae Griggs, of Piscataway; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton.
Entombment followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Rose Vassallo
Rose Vassallo (Frassetto), 67, of Hammonton, died Monday, June 12 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Hammonton, Vassallo was a lifelong resident. She was a retired machine operator from Flight Apparel and also worked in Palma’s Clothing Shop in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: her husband, Nicholas; two brothers, Fred Frassetto, of Hammonton, and Joe Frassetto, of Elm; six sisters, Carrie Marazzi, of Hammonton, Angelina Juliano, of Hammonton, Mary Mazza, of Hammonton, Jeanette Albano, of Hammonton, Catherine DeMaio, of Millville, and Anne Tappen, of Millville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church on N. 3rd St. in Hammonton.
Burial will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
Friends may call today from 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, June 15, after 8:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home at 102 N. 3rd St. in Hammonton.

Mary Burgess, 84, of Mays Landing, died Monday, May 8 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in South Carolina, Burgess was a self-employed domestic worker.
Surviving her are: her daughter, Mary F. Jones, of Mays Landing; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Saturday, May 13, at Bethel Holy Temple Church in Newtonville.
Burial followed at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.

Anthony DeCicco
Anthony DeCicco, 89, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, June 14 [2000], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in the Elm section of Winslow Twp, DeCicco was a lifelong resident of this area. In 1976, he retired from John L. Capelli Inc. He was a former member of the Hammonton Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #3571 and the Sons of Italy #1658.
He was the husband of the late Mildred DeCicco (nee Crescenzo).
Surviving him are: his son, Anthony C. DeCicco, of Hammonton; two brothers, Angelo DeCicco, of Margate, and Alfred DeCicco, of Blue Anchor; and he was the loving grandfather of Christine Macrie, Anthony DeCicco, Thomas DeCicco and the great-grandfather of Macie Macrie and Michael Macrie.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 16, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Donald M. DiBona Jr.
Donald M. DiBona Jr., 25, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, June 14 [2000], at Atlantic City Medical Center.
Born in Hammonton, DiBona was a lifelong resident. DiBona was a construction worker for Boro Construction in King of Prussia.
Surviving him are: his father, Donald M. DiBona Sr., of Hammonton; two sisters, Susan Bertino, of Hammonton, and Kathi Gallagher, of Sweetwater; his fiancee, Cindy Boyer, of Hammonton; two nephews and one niece.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 17, at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery.
