William T. (Winky) Myers
William T. (Winky) Myers, 87, of Oaklyn, died Wednesday, July 19 [2000], at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Myers served in the U.S. Navy in WWII as a refrigeration technician. He was also employed at Breyer’s Ice Cream, then moved on to be the successful owner of Myers Refrigeration in Oaklyn. He was an avid model train collector and railroad enthusiast. He enjoyed politics, opera, classical music, cooking, classic movies, and most of all, helping his entire family. He will be deeply missed, never forgotten by all.
Myers was the beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Avery) of Oaklyn, and father of Bonnie Ciano, of Bellmawr, and the late William A. Myers, of Collings Lakes.
Surviving him are: a brother, Bert Myers, of Taunton Lake, NJ; a sister, Jean Frost, of Riverside, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Jean Huckel, of Cherry Hill; six grandchildren, Kevin Ciano, of Bellmawr, Justin Ciano, of Bellmawr, William A Myers Jr., of Hammonton, Lori Myers, of Linwood, Dawn Fountas, of Collings Lakes, Hope Myers-Ammirato, of Collings Lakes; and five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Zachary, Emily and Arden.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services at DuBois in Audubon.
Burial followed at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.
Marlene Condo
Marlene Condo, 23, of Waterford, died Sunday, July 23 [2000], at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Washington Twp. after a lengthy illness.
Born in Stratford, Condo was an area resident all her life. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Elementary School, and attended Edgewood Regional High School.
Surviving her are: her parents, Ralph and Marion (Capelli) Condo, of Waterford; one sister, Tina and her husband Michael Kennedy, of Waterford; and her godparents, Louise and Eileen Conte, of Waterford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive in Atco.
Internment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.
Viewing is Wednesday, July 26, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St., Hammonton.

Carmella Presti
Carmella Presti (Spallone), 82, of Hammonton, wife of the late John J. Presti, died Friday, July 21 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Presti was an area resident for more than 50 years. She was a former member of the Altar Rose Society of St. Joseph’s Church.
Surviving her are: one son, Carmen A. and his wife Marie Presti, of Hammonton; one daughter, Diana Presti, of Hammonton; two sisters, Theresa Alessandrine, of Williamstown, and Anna Sasselli, of Phila., Pa.; and two grandchildren, Lauren Marie and Gina Renee Presti.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 24, at St. Martin de Porres Church in Hammonton.
Internment followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Nicole Gallo
Nicole Gallo, 28, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, July 26 [2000].
Born in Hammonton, Gallo was a lifelong resident. She was a designer and co-owner of Gallo’s Florist Shoppe in Hammonton. She graduated from Hammonton High School in 1990, where she played on the basketball and tennis teams.
Surviving her are: her parents, Frank J. and Joanne (Gattis), of Hammonton; one brother, Blake Gallo, of Hammonton; one sister, Donna Marie Cox, of Dorothy; her maternal grandparents, Patrick and Amelia Gattis, of Philadelphia; her fiancee, John D. Lamanteer, of Vineland; and her nieces, Samantha Marie and Haley Ann Showell.

Josephine Cicatiello
Josephine Cicatiello, 92, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, July 25 [2000], at Burdette Tomlin Hospital in Cape May Court House.
Born in Wayne, Pa., Cicatiello lived in Phila. most of her life. She spent time in California and Hammonton. She loved to cook, travel, and play cards and bingo.
Surviving her are: two sons, John Cicatiello, of Hammonton, and Gaetano Cicatiello, of Phila.; two daughters, Christina Inman, of Victorville, Calif., and Clementina Buckley, of Phila.; four brothers, Henry DiRuscio, of Phila., Gaetano DiRuscio, of New York, Americo DiRuscio, of Deltona, Fla., and Serafino DiRuscio, of Novato, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Joseph A. “Doc” Gazzara
Joseph A. “Doc” Gazzara, 85, of Hammonton, died Friday, July 28 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Gazzara was a lifelong resident. He was formerly the owner of Doc’s Dry Cleaning in Hammonton, and also worked for the Richard Stockton College of NJ. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres RC Church and the Hammonton Senior Citizens.
Gazzara was predeceased by his wife, Rose M. Gazzara.
Surviving him are: one sister, Mary Falcone, of Hammonton; and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Camden, Ruggerio was an area resident all her life. She was a manager for Roanwell Electronics of Elwood.
Surviving her are: her spouse, Ramon Ruggerio; two sons, Darrell Ruggerio, of Elm, and Steven Torado, of Elwood; one daughter, Linda Ruggerio, of Weekstown; one brother, John Ruggerio, of Hammonton; three sisters, Betty Kessler, of Berlin, Florence Ruggerio, of Mystic Island, and Frances Foster, of Williamstown; three grandchildren, Steven, James and Michael.

Charles Paul Pinto
Charles Paul Pinto, 83, of Hammonton, died Monday, July 24 [2000], at home.
Born in Hammonton, Pinto was a lifelong resident. He was a retired salesman for Vernon C. Miller Inc. of Hammonton. He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion F. A. Funston Post 186 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Hammonton.
Pinto was the husband of the late Anna M. Pinto.
Surviving him are: three daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and Jack Gardner, of Mt. Laurel, Rose Mary and Ed Davis, of Sicklerville, and Louise and Sal Colasurdo, of Hammonton; one son and his wife, George and Francine Pinto, of Hammonton; three sisters, Mildred Sacco, of Hammonton, Kathryn Reilly, of Hammonton, and Rose Privitera, of Hammonton; his grandchildren, Marianne and Donald Leadly, Michele and Paul Tome, Tommy and Tina Dixon, Anthony Paolino, Stephanie Paolino, Michele Pinto, Elizabeth Pinto, Sal (Michael) Colsurdo and Kate Colasurdo; and seven great-grandchildren.

Louis V. Sulmonetti
Louis V. Sulmonetti, 74, of Hammonton, died Saturday, August 5 [2000], at the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Bound Brook, NJ, Sulmonetti lived in Hammonton since 1951. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 1951. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He retired from Local #137 Racing Assoc. in 1988. He taught at St. Joseph High School and coached boy’s varsity basketball and baseball from 1951 to 1965. He taught at Burlington Twp. High School and was the baseball pitching coach from 1965 to 1969. He taught driver’s education and health at Hammonton High School, coached boys basketball from 1969 to 1973 and was the athletic director from 1977 to 1984. He retired from school teaching at Hammonton High School in 1992 . He was also a retired football official NJFOA Atlantic City Chapter, baseball umpire ACBUA, basketball official IAABO Cum - Cape Chapter. He was past president of the NJFOA Atlantic City Chapter, a Cape Atlantic League representative to SJCABA and awards dinner chairman, a member of the NJ Athletic Directors’ Association, a member of the SJ Coaches’ Association of Boys and Girls Athletics. He was also on the executive committee of the SJ Coaches’ Association, the section committee of the SJ Scholar Athlete Award, and NJSIAA League Mergers Hearing Committee. He was an NJSIAA Baseball Sectional representative, NJSIAA Girls Basketball Sectional Representative.
Surviving him are: his wife, Joanna (Capelli); two daughters, Joanna Lonergan, of Hammonton, and Luanne Sulmonetti, of Hammonton; a brother, Julius Sulmonetti, of New York; a cousin, Adeline Imbriani, of S. Bound Brook; and was the loving grandfather of Daniel, Paul and Thomas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, August 10, at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Rt. 206 in Hammonton.
Burial will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.
