Matthew J. Olive
Matthew J. Olive, 70, of Hammonton, died Sunday, August 6 [2000], at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia after a courageous fight.
Born in Hammonton, Olive was a lifelong resident. He was a retired general superintendent for Buckey Construction Co. in Phila., retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was a member of the Hammonton American Legion F. A. Funston Post #186 and the VFW Post #0126 in Hammonton, as well as the St. John’s Society.
Surviving him are: his wife, Joan (Salerno); a son, Matthew Olive Jr. and his wife Patty, of Folsom; a daughter, Cynthia and her husband Mike Corrado, of Hammonton; a sister, Marie and her husband John Bombara, of Hammonton; five grandchildren, Olivia, Averi, Michael, Amanda and Carly; and his niece, Joyce and her husband Mike Wallis, of Hammonton.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery.

Carolyn Capeheart
Carolyn Capeheart, 26, of Collings Lakes, died Sunday, July 30 [2000], at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Stratford, Capeheart lived in Collings Lakes most of her life. She worked as a bank teller for Minotola Bank of Hammonton for more than 10 years. She graduated from Buena Regional High School class of 1992. She was the treasurer for Collings Lakes Ladies Auxiliary Fire Dept. Station #23.
Surviving her are: her husband, John C. Capeheart; her parents, Fred and Joanne (Filosa) Guadango, of Collings Lakes; two brothers, Richard Wiltsey, of Stratford, and Fortunato (Freddy) Guadango, of Collings Lakes; a sister, Roxanne Taylor, of Paulsboro; and her maternal grandmother, Lena Filosa, of Cape May.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 3, at Our Lady of the Lakes Church on Malaga Rd. in Collings Lakes.
Burial will follow at the convenience of the family.

Margaret Goller (Rodio)
Margaret Goller (Rodio), 77, of Hammonton, died Thursday, August 3 [2000], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Winslow, Goller was an area resident all her life. She was the manager of Anne’s Dress Shop of Hammonton for more than 25 years. She was an avid bowler.
Goller was the wife of the late Jack Goller.
Surviving her are: her sister, Nicolina and her husband John Cicatiello, of Hammonton; her sister-in-law, Theresa Rodio, of Hammonton; and she was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 8, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Judith E. Kohr
Judith E. Kohr, 57, of Friendly Village in Williamstown, formerly of Hammonton, passed away on Monday, August 7 [2000], at her residence.
Born in York, Pa., Kohr was formerly of Mt. Wolf, Pa. She was a telephone operator since 1987 for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon). She was a member of the Communications Workers of America, Local 1012 Union and the Victory Bible Church in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: a daughter, Amy R. Kohr, at home; three sons, Scott F. Kohr, of Hammonton, Steven P. Kohr, of Egg Harbor Twp., and Todd E. Kohr, of Dover, Pa.; her mother, Carmen C. Kling, of Hammonton; one brother, David T. Witmer, of Collings Lakes; and six grandchildren, Scotty, Kyle, Kevin, Anthony, Heather and Jared.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services today at 1 p.m. at the Landolfi Funeral Home in Hammonton.

William A. Adams
William A. Adams, 91, of Atlantic City, died Wednesday, August 2 [2000], at Atlantic City Medical Center in Pomona.
Born in Philadelphia, Adams lived in Collings Lakes for 10 years before moving to Atlantic City. He was an accountant for National Freight of Vineland for 15 years, retiring in 1974. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1926 to 1930.
Adams was the husband of the late Katherine Adams.
Surviving him are: three sons, William Adams Jr., of Manhattan, Donald Adams, of Buena Vista Twp., and John Adams, of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Lois Laubie
Lois Laubie, 86, formerly of Shelby, Ohio, died Monday, August 14 [2000], at Mansfield Memorial Homes after an extensive illness.
Born in 1913 in Lexington, Ohio, Laubie was the daughter of the late I. D. And Mary (Walker) Seif. She was a 1931 graduate of Tiro High School and graduated from Marion Business College. She was a homemaker and retired from the Shelby Salesbook. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Shelby, the Eunice and Lois Women’s Circle at church and the Ohio Child Conservation League Mothers’ Club #2. Her hobbies included selling greeting cards, collecting Santas, playing cards, traveling and flower gardening.
Surviving her are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe “Jeff” and Becky Laubie, of Brea, Calif., and Jim and Janet Laubie, of Dayton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Larry Jones, of Hammonton, and Carol and Doug Williams, of Shelby; a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Patricia Seif, of Waverly, Ohio; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Richard Dittmar, of Zanesville, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Rosena Laubie, of Shelby, Virginia Swanger, of Shelby, and Imolee Laubie, of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services, officiated by Rev. Craig Jones, on Monday, August 21, at the Turner Funeral Home. Burial followed at Oakland Cemetery.

Benjamin M. Cushinotto
Benjamin M. Cushinotto, 75, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, August 16 [2000], at his residence. Born in Hammonton, Cushinotto was a lifelong resident. He retired as a supervisor from Whitehall Labs in Hammonton. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, the Hammonton Police Reserve, St. Joseph Holy Name Society and the Hammonton Booster Club. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an avid fisherman.
Surviving him are: his wife, Catherine (Berenato); three sons, Ron Cushinotto, of Hammonton, Rich and his wife Susan Cushinotto, of Tuckahoe, and Ben Jr. and his wife Nancy Cushinotto, of Hammonton; his mother, Theresa Cushinotto, of Hammonton; his sister, Madeline Richards, of St. Joseph, Mich.; and he was the loving grandfather of eight.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 19, at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Deanna J. “Dolly” Farquhar
Deanna J. “Dolly” Farquhar (Ravelli), 61, of Hammonton, passed away on Saturday, September 23, at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Hammonton, Farquhar was a graduate of St. Joseph High School Class of 1956. She also attended Drexel Institute of Technology in Philadelphia, and Glassboro State College (Rowan) in Glass-boro. She was a cemetery monument and mausoleum dealer with her sister, Susan Esposito and her son, Steven, for the past 25 years of Ravelli Monu-ment Co. in Hammonton. At one time she was co-proprietor of the Nutmeg Gift Shop in Hammonton.
As a monument dealer, she was well known as a very caring and compassionate counselor to many bereaved family members in their time of need. Deanna was on the executive committee of the PTA of Hammonton High School and a member of the 4-H Club of Egg Harbor. She was also the Ham-monton area coordinator of the “United We Stand of America” and regent for the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Queen of the Apostle Chapter of Hammonton.
Farquhar was the wife of the late William J. Farquhar, and daughter of the late Prisco and Helen Ravelli.
Surviving her are: two sons, W. Jeffrey Farquhar, of Neptune, NJ, and Steven J. Farquhar, of Hammonton; a sister, Susan Esposito and her husband Paul, of Hammonton; a brother, P. Edward Ravelli, of Las Vegas; her aunts, Genevie Powers, of Mountainside, NJ, Irene Messina, of Elwood, Lucy Squitieri, of Hammonton, and Inez Fanell, of Hollywood, Fla.; two uncles, Stanley Kwasnieski, of Mays Landing, and Joseph Ravelli, of Naples, Fla.; her nieces, Debbie Hinds, of Phoenix, Ariz., Devon H. Esposito, of Ham-monton; and her nephew, P. Eric Ravelli, of Laurel Springs.
A Memorial Funeral Liturgy Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton.
Entombment of remains will follow at the family mausoleum at the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.
