Carol Peacock, 52, of Orlando, died Sunday, November 5 [2000], at Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Winter Park, Fla.
Born in Weymouth, Peacock was a lifelong resident of the Hammonton area before moving to Florida 17 years ago. She was a graduate of Hammonton High School class of 1966. She worked as a travel agent for Regal Travel Agency in Orlando.
Peacock was predeceased by her mother, Gladys Cramer.
Surviving her are: her husband, John A. Peacock Jr.; one son and his wife, John A. III and Christine Peacock, of Deltona, Fla; one daughter, Rebecca Peacock, of Orlando; her father and his wife, Robert and Brenda Cramer, of Devonshire, NJ; two brothers, Robert Cramer, of Hammonton, and Steven Cramer, of Hammonton; one sister, Patricia DeFrancisco, of Hammonton; and one grand-daughter, Natasia.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 9, at St. Martin DePorres RC Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Anna M. Burton
Anna M. Burton (nee Bertino), 75, of Hammonton, died on Thursday, November 30 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Hammonton, Burton was a lifelong resident.
Burton was the wife of the late Chester R. Burton.
Surviving her are: her son, Tony Burton and his wife Debbie, of Hammonton; two daughters, Janet Baglivo, of Hammonton, and Rosemary and her husband John Santora, of Hammonton; her brother, Domenic Bertino, of Cherry Hill; three sisters, Rose Bertino, of Hammonton, Mary Casadia, of Hammonton, and Angelina Adams, of Hammonton; and she was the loving grandmother of James and Thomas Baglivo, Clark Hovermale III, Tony Burton, and Erin and John Santora.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 4, at St. Martin de Porres Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Clara Richardson
Clara “Virginia” Richardson, 83, of Hammonton, died Thursday, November 30 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Wheeling, WV, Richardson grew up in Buffalo, NY. After graduating high school, she moved to Atlantic City, where she joined the Women’s Army Corps and served in Europe during WWII. She later moved to Camden and Pleasantville, before moving to Hammonton in 1996. She was a retired cashier for Allen’s Shoe Store in Pleasantville and the Shore Mall.
Richardson was the wife of the late William D. Richardson.
Surviving her are: three sons, William P. Richardson, of Killenn, Texas, George J. Richardson Sr., of Galloway Twp., and Michael J. Richardson, of Hammonton; two daughters, Patricia A. Piper, of Finksburg, Md., and Tamre S. Smith, of Dennisport, Mass.; a sister, Alice M. Roman, of Atlantic City; she was the loving grandmother of 13; and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Monday, December 4, at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Burial followed at the Beverly National Cemetery in Ridgeboro, NJ.

Vera Legacki
Vera Legacki (Lawrence), 95, of Hammonton, and formerly of Atlantic City, died Monday, November 27 [2000], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Millville, Legacki lived in Atlantic City for 35 years before moving to Hammonton 11 years ago.
Surviving her are: her daughter, Frances J. Kitselman, of Manahawkin; she was the loving grandmother of 12; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 30, at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Peter Steven
Peter Steven, 64, of Hammonton, died Saturday, November 25 [2000], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Vineland, Steven lived in Hammonton for the past two years.

Edith May Warner
Edith May Warner, 81, of Hammonton, died on Sunday, November 26 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Cape May, Warner moved to Hammonton in 1948. She formerly worked for Sears Hammonton for 16 years.
Surviving are: her cousin, James W. Seltzer, of Schwenksville, Pa.

Burial followed at Cold Springs Cemetery in Cold Springs, Cape May County.

David C. Houston
David C. Houston, 71, of Hammonton, passed away on Friday, December 1 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Statesville, NC, Houston lived there for 17 years before moving to Hammonton 54 years ago. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946 until 1950. He worked as an insurance adjuster for Cusack and Company in Woodbury for 20 years before retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton.
Surviving her are, his wife, Antoinette (nee DiMaggio); his loving daughter, Sharon and her husband Jay Franchetti, of Hammonton; and his cherished mother, Bessie DeMarco, of Hammonton.
Relatives and friends attended a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 5, at St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton.
Entombment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Rosalie Calderone
Rosalie Calderone, 61, of Hammonton, died Sunday, December 10 [2000], at home.
Born in Winslow, Calderone was a lifelong area resident. She was president of Calderone Chrysler in Hammonton. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Nite Owl Bowling League at DiDonato’s Bowling Center in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: her husband, J. John Calderone, of Hammonton; two sons, Michael Calderone and his wife Carolyn, of Hammonton, and Paul Calderone and his wife Lori, of Hammonton; two grandchildren, Vincent Calderone, of Hammonton, and Elizabeth Calderone, of Hammonton; four brothers, Anthony Chiappine, of Hammonton, Joseph Chiappine, of Hammonton, Lee Chappine, of Hammonton, and Frank Chiappine, of Hammonton; two sisters, Julie DeStefano, of Winslow, and Phyllis DiDonato, of Hammonton; her mother-in-law, Mary Calderone, of Hammonton; her sister-in-law, Mary Mayfield and her husband Dale, of Dixon, Ill.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

Maria Wladelek, 78, of Hammonton, died Monday, December 4 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Gaelwice, Poland, Wladelek lived in Nesco and Hammonton most of her life. She retired in 1989 as a machine operator for Bel Sportswear Clothing Co. in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: her son, Matthew Skrzat and his wife Anna Marie, of Hammonton; she was the loving grandmother of Matthew Skrzat Jr., Gina Knight and Tiffany Skrzat; and she was the great-grandmother of Frankie Watkins Jr. and Eric Knight Jr.
