George J. “Pat” Codone
George J. “Pat” Codone, 81, of Pensacola, Fla., died Wednesday, December 6 [2000], in Florida.
Born in Vineland and formerly of Hammonton, Codone lived in Pensacola for more than 50 years. He retired in 1973 as the City of Pensacola Tax Assessor. Codone directed the Florida Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for the IRS and was also a self-employed accountant.
Surviving him are: his wife, June; his children, Louis Robert Codone, of Taos, NM, George John Codone Jr., of Pensacola, Dianne Boazman, of New Orleans, and Cindy Barrington, of Pensacola; and two brothers, Louis Codone, of St. Cloud, Fla., and Philip Codone, of Hammonton.
Services were held in Olive Baptist Church on Monday, December 11.
Burial followed at the Barrancas National Cemetery.

William T. Baker
William T. Baker, 60, of Collings Lakes, died Sunday, December 10 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Camden, Baker lived in Collings Lakes for 27 years. He was a maintenance engineer at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital and a custodian at Buena Regional High School.
Surviving him are: his wife, Martha V. Baker, of Collings Lakes; four daughters, Martha E. Anderson and her husband Bob, of Egg Harbor Township, Virginia Wolfe and her husband Tony, of Hammonton, Mary C. Baker, of Collings Lakes, and Billie Jo Baker, of Collings Lakes; two sons, William T. Baker Jr., of Collings Lakes, and Al Baker, of Collings Lakes; his father, Thomas Baker, of Pine Hill; three brothers, Thomas Baker, Richard Baker, and Michael Baker; two sisters, Mary Autodore and Betty May Webb; and nine grandchildren, Brian Wolfe, Eddie Baker, Beth Anderson, Brandy Baker, Anthony Wolfe, Megan Anderson, Christopher Wolfe, Bobby Anderson and Kyle William Wolfe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services today at 1 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home on 202 S. Third St. in Hammonton.
Relatives may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.
The family requests donations to the Diabetes Foundation, 1060 N. King’s Highway, Suite 309, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Agnes Machise
Agnes Machise (nee Mongan), 90, of Hammonton, died Thursday, December 7 [2000], at Linwood Convalescent Center in Linwood.
Machise was a Hammonton resident for more than 55 years. She was employed by the Atlantic County Board of Immigration and Naturalization. She belonged to the Thoroughbred Racing Association of NJ and many local civic and service organizations.
Machise was predeceased by the late former mayor of Hammonton, John Machise.
Surviving her are: three sisters, Mildred Juenger, of Montrose, Pa., Edith Lang, of Linwood, and Lenora Davis, of Mays Landing; and she was the loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 9, at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Joseph E. Lovell
Joseph E. Lovell, 70, of Winslow, died Friday, November 13 [2000], at West Jersey Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Camden, Lovell was a lifelong resident of the southern New Jersey area. Lovell worked as a maintenance mechanic for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Barrington, and for Ancora Phsychiatric Hospi-tal. He was a member of the Glass, Molders, Potter and Plastics Al-lied Workers International Union. He was an Army veteran of the Ko-rean War.
Lovell was predeceased by his wife, Annadora Lovell.
Surviving him are: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Anthony J. and Dawn Lovell, of Glassboro, and Edward N. Lovell, of Winslow; and two grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Monday, November 6 at 8 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Burial was private at the convenience of the family.

Gertrude M. Prestipino
Gertrude M. “Tinker” Prestipino, 61, of Hammonton, died Satur-day, November 4 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammon-ton.
Born in Philadelphia, Prestipino was a resident of Hammonton for 40 years.
Surviving her are: her husband, Nicholas J. Prestipino; two daugh-ters and their husbands, Susan and Rusty Milazzo, of Hammonton, and Christine and Jack Bertman, of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sons and their wives, Joseph and Carol Noto, of Absecon, and Martin and Danielle Noto, of Hammonton; one stepdaughter and her husband, Gi-na and Rick Guerriero, of Sewell; one stepson and his wife, Nicholas and Edna Prestipino Jr., of Missouri; four sisters, Barbara Gazzara, of Hammonton, Joanne Cappuccio, of Hammonton, and Judy Mazza, of Hammonton, and Mary Labovitz, of Philadelphia; one great aunt, Eleanor Flood, of Hammonton; and nine grandchildren, Nicole, Dante, Sabrina, David, Jesse, Christian, Nicholas, Joanna and Victo-ria.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton.
Entombment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Thelma A. Delguercio
Thelma A. Delguercio (nee Warwick), 88, of the Elm section of Winslow Twp., died on Monday, October 16 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Berlin, Delguercio lived in Elm most of her life. She worked for many years in the clothing industry as a machine operator, retiring in 1973.
Delguercio was the wife of the late Philip.
Surviving her are: a son, Jim Delguercio, of Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Marie Rendina and her husband Dave, of Newfield, and Alva Sauser and her husband William, of Elm; a brother, Ben Warwick, of Stratford; a sister, Alva Spinella, of Williamstown; and she was the loving grandmother of Marie Vapore, David Rendina and William Sauser; and the great-grandmother of Jennifer Vapore.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
