Peter J. Errera
Peter (Toots) J. Errera, 89, of Hammonton, died Monday, January 15 [2001], at his residence.
Born in Hammonton, Errera was a lifelong resident. He was a retired milkman for Abbotts Dairies of Hammonton for 42 years. He also worked for Bruno’s Auto Parts Store in Hammonton. He was the oldest volunteer fireman in Hammonton and was the second captain of the Rescue Squad. Errera also helped start Hammonton Little League and was the assistant coach of the 1949 Little League World Series championship team. He was inducted into the Hammonton High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. He was a former member of the St. Joseph Holy Name Society and was an usher for St. Martin’s Church.
Surviving him are: his wife, Alice (Brocalello); two daughters, Grace (Tootsie) Berger and her husband Dave, of Hammonton, and Jerry Ricci, of Vineland; a brother, Dr. Samuel J. Errera, of Bethlehem, Pa.; a sister, Frances Iuliucci, of Hammonton; he was the loving grandfather of five; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 19, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church on South Egg Harbor Road in Hammonton.
Viewing is Thursday evening, January 18, after 6:30 p.m. and Friday, January 19, after 8:30 a.m., at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Angelina J. Gana
Angelina J. Gana (nee Melora), 81, of Winslow, died Thursday, January 11 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Gana was a lifelong area resident. She was a machine operator for Kessler Clothing Shop in Hammonton. She was a member of the Winslow Fire Co.’s Ladies Auxiliary and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
Surviving her are: her daughter, Marie Norcross and her husband Herb, of Winslow; one sister, Mamie Grebowich, of Winslow; one brother, John Melora, of Hammonton; and her grandson, Jeff.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 15, at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Frances B. Ronayne
Frances B. Ronayne (nee Agrippa), 80, of Hammonton, died Sunday, January 7 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Atlantic City, Ronayne was a longtime resident there. She also resided in Boston for many years. She worked as a seamstress for a clothing company in Boston, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Surviving her are: two sisters, Mary Cesario, of Atlantic City, and Nancy Soto, of Atlantic City; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services and burial took place at Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville on Thursday, January 11.

William Thomas Williamson
William Thomas Williamson, 34, of Folsom, died Friday, January 5 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Camden, Williamson lived in Folsom for the past 31 years.
Surviving him are: his parents, Everett and Angelina (Sbaffone) Williamson, of Folsom; three brothers, Edward Williamson, of Pomona, Kenneth Williamson, of Folsom, and James Williamson, of Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Wednesday, January 10, at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.

Samuel Granato
Samuel Granato Sr., 74, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, January 10 [2001], at his residence.
Born in Rosler, Pa., Granato was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He was president of Granato Trucking Inc. of Hammonton. He also worked at Crown Pants Co. in Vineland as a presser. He loved to garden and work on his farm.
Surviving him are: his wife, Norine (Hoffman); two sons, Samuel Granato Jr. and his wife Joan, of Waterford, and Louis Granato and his friend Sharon, of Hammonton; a daughter, Frances Mary Toms, of Collingswood; three sisters, Virginia Cigneglia, of Minotola, Sofia Marandino, of Minotola, and Rose Bisignano, of Boca Raton, Fla.; and he was the loving grandfather of Louis, Lori and Sammy.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 13, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton. Entombment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.

Josephine Universe
Josephine Universe (Bertino) 84, of Hammonton, died Friday, January 12 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Universe was a lifelong resident. She was a retired machine operator for several clothing firms in Hammonton. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union Local 126.
Universe was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Universe; two brothers, Frank Bertino and Anthony Bertino; three sisters, Agnes Cappuccio, Mary Salayda and Angelina Pino.
Surviving her are: a sister, Rose Caruso, of Hammonton; her sister-in-law, Rita Bertino, of Hammonton; and she was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Theresa P. Donio
Theresa P. Donio (Crescenzo), 81, of Hammonton/Winslow Twp., died peacefully and surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 16 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Donio lived in Hammonton most of her life. Donio and her sister-in-law Sue Donio owned and operated The Beauty Mart Hair Salon in Hammonton. Theresa retired in 1958. She graduated from Hammonton High School Class of 1936. She was crowned Hammonton Peach Queen in 1941.
Surviving her are: her husband Carmine (Knute); a son, Michael Donio and his wife Annette, of Hammonton; a daughter, Jeanne Gorczynski and her husband Thomas, of Cherry Hill; a brother, William Crescenzo, of Hammonton; a sister Anna Crouch, of Hammonton; and she was the loving grandmother of Thomas and Jamie Gorczynski, Alena, Dennis and Michael Donio.

Joseph A. Domenico
Joseph A. Domenico Sr., 80, of Hammonton, died peacefully at his home of birth on January 19 [2001].
Domenico served in the Army of the United States of America. He was a sergeant in the 736th Medium Tank Battalion Special. During WWII, he landed on the beach at Normandy, France, and fought the Battle of the Bulge. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. Domenico was a Disabled American Veteran and a lifetime member of the F.A. Funston Post 186 of the American Legion. He was also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 66 in Hammonton. He was recently honored by the American Legion as a member in good standing for more than 50 continuous years. In 1945, Domenico carried on with his father’s fuel oil business known as J. Domenico & Son. He was the owner/operator of that business from 1945 until 1985, when he retired.
Surviving him are: his loving wife, Alice J. (nee Campione) Domenico, of Hammonton; two children, Mary Ann Domenico, of Hammonton, and Joseph Domenico and his wife Bridgett, of Bronson, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Devin and Sarah.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 22, at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Hammonton. Entombment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.

Angelina Bertino DiSalvo
Angelina Bertino DiSalvo, 93, of Hammonton, died Saturday, January 13 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
DiSalvo was a hand seamstress at Kessler Clothing Shop in Hammonton. She loved cooking and caring for her family. Her family was her greatest love and she cherished the time she spent with them.DiSalvo was predeceased by her husband, Antonio DiSalvo, and her sons, Anthony DiSalvo and Angelo DiSalvo.
Surviving her are: three daughters, Mae Schuh and her husband Ray, of Woodbury Heights, NJ, Marie Rahelic and her husband Bill, of Elm, and Josephine Ricci and her husband Louis, of Hammonton; one son, Joseph DiSalvo and his wife Carole, of Downers Grove, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Frances DiSalvo, of Hammonton; one brother, Frank Bertino, of Hammonton; one sister, Anna DeRenzis, of Calif.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
