Domenica (Millie) Petetti (nee Sgroi), 90, of Hammonton died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Atlantic City Hospital, Mainland Division.
Born in New York City, she moved to southern Philadelphia and was an entrepreneur of several businesses. She then retired and lived in Florida for 25 years before becoming a resident of Hammonton. She enjoyed life to the fullest.
Predeceased by: husband, Leo; child, Reno. Surviving her are: son, Sam Petetti and his wife Sandy; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Petetti; nephew, Bart Brigidi; grandchildren, Millie Caloiero, Olivia Pantalone and her husband Joe, Dominica Capaccio and her husband Tony, Leo Petetti and his wife Tracy, Renee Ross and her husband Jeff, Sam Petetti, Olivia Petetti; 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing today at 9 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Williamstown.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 11000 Lincoln Drive West, Suite 7, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Anna Williams (nee Merlino), 82, of Hammonton died Friday, December 31, 2004 at home.
Born in Hammonton, she was an area resident all her life. She retired in 1980 as a machine operator for Crown Pants Company in Hammonton. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Her hobbies included cooking and baking especially for the holidays. She enjoyed doing puzzles and being with her family. She was the “light of our life.”
Predeceased by: husband, Norris. Surviving her are: sons, Donald and his wife Toni of Edmonton, Ky., Robert, Norris Jr. and his wife Sue of Hammonton; sister, Jeannette DeMaio of Hammonton; grandson, Anthony.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 3, at St. Martin DePorres Church followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Cliff Dorsey Jr.
Cliff Dorsey Jr., 53, of Lindenwold died Sunday, January 4, 2004 in John F. Kennedy Hospital, Stratford.
Born in Hammonton, he lived in Lindenwold for three years. Mr. Dorsey was a 1969 graduate of Hammonton High School. He was an avid sportsman who played baseball and football. Cliff earned several records before graduating. He played with various leagues in the Hammonton Recreation Association. Cliff earned several degrees from assorted Universities. He attended and graduated from the Police Academy in Burlington. He became a Mullica Township Policeman on March 29, 1977 where he served until December 5, 1983 as a Sergeant. He was chief of security at the Hamilton Mall for several years. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Lodge 125 in Mizpah. Mr. Dorsey became a deacon in March 2003 at the Faith Deliverance Center in Swedesboro.
Predeceased by: mother, Sadie Dorsey; brother, Robert Grays. Surviving him are: fiancee, Daisy Roman; her son, Christopher Roman; father, Clifford H. Dorsey Sr. and his wife Carol of Hammonton; sisters, Lillian Dorsey, Lorraine Crowder both of Mullica Twp.; brothers, William Dorsey and his wife Brenda of Ga., Henry Dorsey of Berlin, Ronald Dorsey Sr. and his wife Levini of Hammonton; sister in law, Jeanette Grays of Mays Landing; nieces, Jacqueline Dorsey, Michelle Dorsey, Lisa Grays; nephews, Jason, Ronald, Albert, Lloyd, James, Robert, Daniel Dorsey, Marvin, Marcus Crowder; host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services Saturday, January 10 from 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Hammonton.

Orlando J. Canale
Orlando J. Canale, 86, died January 1, 2004.
He was born October 14, 1917 and was a graduate of Glassboro State College majoring in education. He received his Masters degree from Temple University. He was also a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music majoring in composition. He founded the Atlantic County Reading Association and was included in the Who’s Who of American Educators. He received the Leadership in Education Award from Atlantic County Educators for his tireless and creative efforts on behalf of children. Orlando was a retired school teacher and composer.
Surviving him are: six children, William and Carmela of Pa., Joseph of Miss., Daniel from N.M., Norina and Carlo of N.J.; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Friday, January 9 at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church USA, 326 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton.

Nancy V. Gana
Nancy V. Gana (nee Ferrigno), 85, of Folsom died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Hospital.
Born in Scranton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Abundant Life Church.
Surviving her are: husband, Joseph L.; daughters, Marion Pistoia and her husband Peter of Ventnor, Joanne Nichols of Hammonton; brother, Michael Ferrigno of Folsom; grandchildren, Donna, Damien, Holly, Jonathan, David; great grandchildren, Dana, Nicole, Ean.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, January 8 at 10:30 a.m. with services following at 11:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery.

Joseph Reader
Joseph Reader, 84, of Vineland died Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the S.J.H. Newcomb Division.
Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Camden and Millville and was a long time Vineland City resident. Prior to joining the military, he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps which was responsible for the reforesting and building lakes and parks throughout the state. After the C.C.C. Camps he joined the United States Marine Corps and served with the 1st Marine Division in the South Pacific Theatre during WWII. Joe worked for over 30 years as an Industrial Electrician for Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton before retiring in December 1981. He had spent his retirement years offering his time and energies as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer for parish functions at the St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Vineland. He also volunteered his services to the N.J. State Veterans Memorial Home and to his elderly friends and neighbors. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps League and the Vineland Recreation Club where he loved shooting pool and socializing with his many friends.
Predeceased by: sisters, Eleanor Whitaker, Dorothy Charlesworth. Surviving him are: wife of 56 years, Vera (nee Steighner); sons, Joseph Reader and his wife Janice of Smithville, Earl Reader of Philadelphia; daughters, Linda Terenik and her husband Victor of Vineland, Juanita Girimonte and her husband Danny of Vineland, Sharon Bertino and her husband David of Hammonton, Vera Giglio and her husband Wayne of Vineland, Mary Grimaldi and her husband John of Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Joe was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and his entire community.
Relatives and friends attended his funeral liturgy on December 27, at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church followed by entombment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the N.J. Sara Ruggeri
Sara Ruggeri (nee Colasurdo), 96, of San Diego died December 29, 2003 in California.
Born and raised in Hammonton, she lived in Upper Darby for many years before moving to California in 1996. She retired from Eisenberg Clothing Co. in Philadelphia as a seamstress.
Predeceased by: husband, Joseph, sisters, Millie Comunale, Theresa Mazza; brothers, Girard Colasurdo, James Colasurdo, Prosper Colasurdo. Surviving her are: daughter, Joan F. Werner of Bonita, Calif.; brother, Rocco Colasurdo of Hammonton; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 3 at St. Joseph Church followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Lennart Wilner, Ph.D.
Lennart Wilner, Ph D, of Hammonton died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Wilner worked as a psychologist for the State of New Jersey and Woodbury High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1026 in Hammonton.
Predeceased by: wife, Lorna Wilner. Surviving him are: sons, Lane Wilner, MD of Florence, S.C., Larry Wilner and his wife Patricia of Suwanee, Ga.; grandsons, Karl Wilner of Greensboro, N.C., Matthew Wilner of Tempe, Ariz.
Relatives and friends attended a memorial service on Saturday, December 27, at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial at St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Folsom.

Thomas A. Murray
Thomas A. Murray, 69, of Hammonton died Sunday, January 4, 2004 in Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Ardmore, he lived in Hammonton for 43 years. Mr. Murray was the owner of Executive Fashions in Vineland. He was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church where he served as a Lector for many years.
Predeceased by: wife, Grace (nee Calletta). Surviving him are: brother, John Murray of Havertown, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Russell Calletta and his wife Marge, John A. Calletta and his wife Gloria all of Hammonton; nieces Joyce Perry of Somers Point, Cheryl Calletta of Hammonton; nephew Frank Calletta of Hammonton.
Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s RC Church, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Charles J. Ordille
Charles J. Ordille, 75, of Hammonton died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was an area resident before moving to Florida 12 years ago. He recently returned to Hammonton. He was a heavy equipment operator and was involved in road construction for Delco Construction for 23 years. He then was employed by Mullica Township as overseer of the highways and the town of Hammonton as road construction supervisor until his retirement in 1991. A graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1946, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a former member of Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th degree, the Hammonton Volunteer Fire Dept. #2, and Hammonton Little League. He was also a Eucharistic minister. Mr. Ordille enjoyed cooking, fishing, and was an avid bowler.
Surviving him are: wife of 54 years, Delores (nee Montecalvo), son, Randy Ordille and his wife Kathi of Hammonton; daughters, Donna Heggan and her husband Richard, Bonnie Vettese and her husband Robert, Colleen Haas and her husband Edward, Jami Lynn LaRosa and her husband Charles all of Hammonton; sisters, Julia DuRain of Fla., Nancy DeMarco of Linwood; grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert Vettese, Richard Heggan, Melissa, Jessica Ordille, Joshua Gallo, Charlie-Lynn, Zackary LaRosa, Mackenna, Hailey Hass, Matt Mull and his wife Kristen, Jeffrey Mull, Tracy Jones and her husband Tom, Robin Guyer and her husband Tony, Kelly Blomdahl and her husband Rod; mother-in-law Viola Montecalvo of Hammonton; five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing tonight after 6:30 p.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 8 at 9 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church followed by interment at Greenmount Cemetery.
