Robert K. Furgione
Robert K. Furgione, 47, of Absecon, died Friday, April 6 [2001] at the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Atlantic City, Furgione lived in Hammonton for a couple of years before being raised in Margate. He was the owner of B&R Auto Supply Co. in Atlantic City. He graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1972 and from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Surviving him are: his father, Robert A. Furgione, of Mays Landing; his mother, Anne Furgione (Siarcusa), of Absecon; and his brother, Dennis J. Furgione, of Margate.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 9, at St. Joseph's Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.

Basil R. Giuffre
Basil R. Giuffre, 80, of Hammonton, husband of the late Rose (Santora), died March 23 [2001], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Giuffre was an area resident for many years. He retired in 1986 as manager for the Hammonton Investment Mortgage Company of Hammonton. He was a member of the American Legion Post #186 of Hammonton and the Hammonton Senior Citizens.
Surviving him are: one daughter, Dorothy and her husband Gene Rodio, of Hammonton; three sisters, Caroline Jupin, of Elwood, Rose Benedetto, of Hammonton, and Marie Mills, of Hammonton; two granddaughters, Gina and her husband John Brigandi, and Michelle and her husband Rocco DiGerolamo; and one great-grandson.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church on S. Egg Harbor Rd. in Hammonton.
Internment followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
Arrangements were made by the Marinella Funeral Home.
Angeline Zollo
Angeline Zollo, 91, of Hammonton and formerly of Syracuse, NY, died Thursday, March 22 [2001], at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Hammonton.
Born in Syracuse, Zollo lived in Hammonton for the past five years.
Surviving her are: one son, Joseph and his wife Marie, of Hammonton; a daughter, Carmela Zollo, of Oneida, NY; and she was the loving grandmother of Janelle.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 26, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse.

Anna L. Sarao
Anna L. Sarao (Samartino), 86, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, May 1 [2001], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Collingswood, Sarao moved to Hammonton 71 years ago. She retired in 1980 as a foreman for W. B. Kessler Clothing Co. in Hammonton after 30 years.
Sarao was predeceased by her husband, Guy "Thomas" Sarao and her son Roger Sarao.
Surviving her are: a son, Joseph Sarao and his wife Lorraine, of Hammonton; a daughter, Joann "Dolly" Wolf, of Sweetwater; a sister, Rose McConnell, of Belair, Md.; she was the loving grandmother of 10; and nine great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 4, at St. Joseph's Church in Hammonton.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.

Dorothy M. Santos
Dorothy M. Santos, 79, of Collings Lakes, died Tuesday, May 1 [2001], at Kennedy Hospital in Washington Twp.
Born in Schenectady, NY, Santos was a resident of Collings Lakes for 17 years.
Surviving her are: her husband, Bruce W. Santos; two sons, Charles Howard, of Maine, and Donald Howard, of NY; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family.

Angela Rose Starnes
Angela Rose Starnes (Conte), 89, of Waterford, died Wednesday, June 21 [2001], at Medford Nursing Center in Medford.
Born in Waterford, Starnes was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1965 as a machine operator for Pino Clothing Co. in Hammonton. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society of Waterford.
Starnes was the wife of the late Harry Starnes.
Surviving her are: a stepson, Harry Allen Starnes, of Wichita, Ks.; a sister, Assunta Schepis, of Berlin; she was the loving aunt of Lou and Eileen Conte, Richard and Maria Mason, Charles and Gloria Conte, Ronnie and Dottie Schepis and Judy Dillon; and she was the grandmother of two.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 25, at St. Anthony's Church in Waterford.
Burial followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin.

Kathleen F. Super
Kathleen F. "Kay" Super, 83, of Blue Anchor, died Thursday, June 21 [2001], at West Jersey Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Hammonton, Super was a lifelong area resident. She was a nurse at Ancora Hospital. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hammonton.
Super is survived by: her husband, Frank H. Super; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Keating, of Pine Hill, and Deborah Jane Draine, of Sicklerville; and two grandchildren, Daniel Edward Draine and Elizabeth Ann Draine.
Relatives and friends attended memorial services on Saturday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on North Chew Road in Hammonton.

Joseph A. Errera
Joseph A. Errera, 67, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, May 23 [2001], at home.
Born in Hammonton, Errera was a lifelong resident.
Surviving him are: two sisters, Rose Rita Guerere and her husband Anthony, of Hammonton, and Anne Marie DeCicco and her husband Louis, of Hammonton; his nieces and nephews, Anthony and Marizel Guerere, Lynne and Rusty Lucca, Joanne and P. J. Pullia, Louis and Kim DeCicco, Christina DeCicco, and Stephen DeCicco; and his caregiver, Nina Bratko.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 26, at St. Martin de Porres RC Church in Hammonton.
Entombment followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hammonton.

Karen P. Zimmerman
Karen P. Zimmerman (nee Conklin), 44, of Maryland, died May 24 [2001], at the Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care in Towson, Md.
Born in Hammonton, Zimmerman graduated Hammonton High School in 1974. In 1975, she married Charles A. Zimmerman IV. She worked for approximately 10 years as a manager for McDonald's, a position she continued when the family moved to Florida in 1997. In 2000, the family moved to Maryland. She was a member of the Sigma, Sigma, Sigma sorority since 1996, and enjoyed gardening and watching sports.
Surviving her are: her husband, Charles A. Zimmerman IV; her daughters, KerriAnn Schenck, and KristiLea Zimmerman; her son-in-law David Schenck; her parents, Kenneth and Eleanor Watkins; and her brothers, Kenneth Watkins, and Frank Watkins.
Services and internment were private.
