Mamie Ciarlante
Mamie Ciarlante, 76, wife of the late Paul Ciarlante, Sr., of Egg Harbor and formerly of Hammonton, died on Friday, March 8 [2002], at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
Born in Hammonton, she was a area resident all her life. She was also predeceased by her son Nicholas.
Surviving her are: Son, Paul Ciarlante, Jr. of Margate, N.J.; daughter, Julie Templeton and her husband Robert of Hammonton; brother Charles Ordille and his wife Delores of Palm Bay, Fla., sisters Julie DuRain, of Palm Bay, Fla. and Nancy DeMarco, of Linwood; grandchildren, Bobby and Victoria Templeton, John, Paul III, Roseanne and James Ciarlante.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin de Porres Church followed by a burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Marinella Funeral Home of Hammonton.

Samuel J. Occhiolini
Samuel J. Occhiolini, 82, of Collings Lakes, died Wednesday, March 6 [2002], at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he resided in Hammonton and Collings Lakes most of his life. He started , with his late brother Henry, The Tri-Cell Block Co. in Hammonton in 1946 and later moved the business to Collings Lakes in 1955 where he worked until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes RC Church and although confined to a wheelchair for the past 60 years, he enjoyed life and had an excellent memory. He loved to tell stories and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Surviving him are: nieces and nephews, Dave and Cheryl Occhiolini, Dave and Donna Goeller all of Buena Vista Twp.; brothers, Vincent of Deptford, Anthony of King of Prussia, Pa.; sister, Angelina Palestina of Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends attended a Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, March 9, at Our Lady of the Lakes RC Church in Collings Lakes, followed by interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.

Minnie DeFiccio
Minnie DeFiccio (nee Capelli), 79, of Hammonton, died on Saturday, March 16 [2002], at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, she was a life-long resident.
Surviving her are: husband, Joseph DeFiccio, Jr.; daughter, Judee of Hammonton; brother, Salvatore Capelli; sisters, Catherine Maccarella and Mary Calderone, all of Hammonton, N.J.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 20, at St. Anthony’s Church, followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Robert J. Colucci
Robert J. Colucci Jr., 63, formerly of Hammonton now residing in Las Vegas, Nev. died Tuesday, March 12 [2002], at Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Born in Hammonton he was a longtime resident. Colucci worked as an executive casino host at the Boardwalk Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Colucci formerly served on the Hammonton Town Council and the Hammonton Board of Education.
He was predeceased by his father and mother: Robert Colucci, Sr. and Rose Colucci and his sister: Dorothy Colucci.
Surviving him are: wife, Maria Colucci; daughter, Christina and son: Michael in Las Vegas. He is also survived by daughter, Lisa Leto and her husband John; grandchildren, Brianna and Johnny Boy all from Englewood Cliffs, N.J.; daughter, Kim Forsman and her husband Pentti of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J.; and son, Robert Colucci of Las Vegas.
He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Saturday, March 23 at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Hammonton. Burial will take place at Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.

Mary Ann Puleo
Mary Ann Puleo, 63, wife of the late Anthony, of Hammonton died on Friday, March 15 [2002], at Kessler Hospital.
Born in Blenheim, N.J., she lived in Hammonton for 45 years. She worked for the Hilton Hotel and Casino. She loved gardening and had a green thumb for house plants.
Surviving her are: daughters, Elizabeth Danya and Caroline Puleo both of Hammonton, N.J.; brother, John Otis of Blackwood, N.J.; sister, Grenadine Sunstein of Tenn. and Violet Porter of Williamstown, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 19, at St. Joseph Church followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Evelyn Ruth Graziano
Evelyn Ruth Graziano, 75, of Hammonton, died on Tuesday, March 19 [2002].
She and her husband Louis were founders and owners of Royale Crown Drive In in Hammonton. In the off season, Graziano and her husband enjoyed traveling with their motor home across America and Mexico. They went on many caravan trips and enjoyed the camaraderie among their fellow campers as well as the sightseeing and sampling of different foods. Graziano was a wonderful mother who was always happy and tried to find the good in every situation.
Surviving her are: husband, Louis Charles Graziano; son, Louis K. Graziano and his wife Sharon (Olive); daughter, Regina Haupin and her husband George; grandchildren, Elizabeth Haupin, Stephanie Haupin, Alexandra Graziano and Kaitlyn Graziano. Also surviving her are sister, Rita Esposito and her brother Richard Santora, all of Hammonton.
Relatives and friends attended a Funeral Liturgy on March 23, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Edna D. Sayer
Edna D. (Hucker) Sayer, 78, died on Monday, March 18 [2002], at the Atlantic Highland Rehabilitation Center in Edison.
She was born in Newark and also lived in Rahway before moving to Woodbridge 24 years ago. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. James R.C. church in Woodbridge.
Surviving her are: husband of 50 years, Richard J. Sayer; son, Richard C. Sayer of Hammonton; daughter, Marina Compittelo of New Port Richie, Fla.; three sisters, Beverly Koblis of Pt. Reading, Donna Kwiatek of E. Brunswick, Linda Adams of Flemington; two brothers, Frank Hucker of Forked River, and Edward Hucker of South Venice, Fla.; five grandchildren, John and Leslie Compittelo, Richard, Stephen and Christian Sayer.
Relatives and friends attended a Funeral Mass at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge on March 22, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in E. Orange.

Joseph Robert Matteo
Joseph Robert Matteo, 64 of Elm, N.J. died on Saturday, March 16 [2002] at W. B. Kessler Hospital, Hammonton.
Born in Camden, he was an area resident for 40 years. He was a builder and construction worker for Matteo Builders. He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the American Legion Stetser~Lamartine Post 281 of Chews Landing. He was a former member of Chews Landing and Elm Fire Companies.
Surviving him are: wife, Rita A. (Chiumento); son, Joseph R. Jr. of Elm; daughter, Maryanne and her Fiancee Robert Dillion of Flourtown, Pa.; mother, Agnes Matteo of Blackwood, two brothers George and Kathleen Matteo and Roxey and Giner Matteo of Blackwood.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by interment at N.J. Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.

Francis Robert Bates
Francis Robert Bates, 73, of Collings Lakes, died Saturday, March 23 [2002], at home.
Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of the Collings Lakes area for 44 years. Before retiring Bates worked as a boilermaker out of the Boilermakers Union Local No. 28 in Bayonne. Bates was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 548 in Lindenwold. He was a U.S. Naval Veteran of W.W. II.
Surviving him are: wife of 50 years, Angelina (nee DiGregorio); sons, Ronald Bates and his wife Charlene of Vineland, and Joseph Bates of Clarksboro; daughter, Laura Cushing and her husband Austin of Collings Lakes; sister Sally Rondini of Silver Springs, Fla.; grandchildren, Jolene, Jeanette, Brenda and Steve.

Frank P. Marinelli
Frank P. Marinelli Sr., 82, of Marlton, N.J., and formerly of Hammonton, died on Saturday, March 16 [2002], in Philadelphia, Pa.
He was formerly employed as a Paramutal Clerk by Garden State Race Track in Cherry Hill, N.J. and was enjoying his retirement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during W.W. II.
Surviving him are: wife, Jean (nee Mayo); sons, Frank P. Marinelli Jr. and his wife Helen of Marlton, N.J., Michael J. Marinelli of Hammonton, N.J. and James A. Marinelli of Baltimore; grandchildren, Michelle DiMatteo, Donna Vickers and Nicholas Marinelli.; great grandchild, Nicholas Marinelli Jr.
