John A. Ordille
John A. Ordille, 80, of Hammonton, died Sunday, September 22 [2002], at Kessler Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. He was a retired Service Manager for Arena Oldsmobile in Hammonton. He served in the Army during World War II, and was a member of the South Jersey Beagel Club.
Surviving him are: wife, Florence B. (Perna); son, Robert and his wife Dolores of Monroe Twp.; sisters, Jeanette Napoliello of Audubon, N.J., and Anna Ingemi of Hammonton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 26, at St. Joseph Church, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The viewing will be after 9:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home in Hammonton.

Anna DeFiccio
Anna (nee Chiumento) DeFiccio, 98, of Hammonton, N.J., died on Monday, September 23 [2002], at the Greenbriar Nursing Center of Hammonton.
Born in Elm, she was a lifelong area resident. DeFiccio was a member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church and a member of their Altar Rosary Society; she was also a member of St. Rita’s Society.
Surviving her are: son, Joseph DeFiccio Jr. of Hammonton; daughter, Virginia DeMarco of Medford; sisters, Jennie Harris of Fairview, Martha Kraus of Haddon Heights, Marguerite Chiumento of Cherry Hill, Millie Papriski of Oaklyn; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, September 27. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

John D. Caporale
John D. Caporale, 80, husband of the late Laura “Loretta” Caporale (nee Mongelluzzo) of Hammonton, died on Sunday, September 22 [2002], at home.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. Before retiring, Caporale worked as an operating engineer. He was a member of the Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 825 of Newark. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post No. 186, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1026, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 66, and St. Martin DePorres Roman Catholic Church, all of Hammonton.
He was a former Hammonton Airport Administrator. Caporale also enjoyed restoring automobiles.
Surviving him are: sons and their wives, John A. and Linda Caporale, Bruce and Sandy Caporale, and David and Cheryl Caporale; daughters and their husbands, Laura Linda and William Smith and Brenda and Gary Bradford; sisters, Mary Carino of Williamstown and Anna Takach of Brigantine; his companion, Grace Rockwell of Ventor, and ten grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing today, Wednesday, September 25, after 7 p.m. and tomorrow, Thursday, September 26, after 8:30 a.m. at Carnesale Funeral Home of Hammonton.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 26, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres RC Church, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.

Andree A. Holloman
Andree A. Holloman (Amprino), 92, of Marlton, died September 23 [2002], at Kressonview Nursing Home. Born in France, she was an area resident for the last 10 years.
Surviving her are: son, Lawrence J. Gibson of Medford; daughters Andree Gibson of Marlton, Virginia C. Kerbaugh of Cambridge, Md., and Barbara Olive of Hammonton; brother: Joseph Rogers of Cherry Hill; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended services at Marinella Funeral Home on September 27 with burial at the convenience of the family.

Anthony J. Silipino
Anthony J. Silipino, 63, of Hammonton died Monday, September 23 [2002], at home.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong Hammonton area resident. Silipino was the self-employed owner of Silipino Auto Body; he also worked as an automobile appraiser for I.T.S. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Surviving him are: wife, Grace J. Silipino (nee Saia) of Hammonton; son and daughter-in-law, Gary J. and Terri Silipino of Collings Lakes; daughter and son-in-law, Cherry L. and Frank Francesco of Folsom; brothers, Larry Silipino of Hammonton and Raymond Silipino of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Bryan and David Silipino, and Frank and Nicholas Francesco.

Marian A. Murphy
Marian A. Murphy, 74, of Elm, Winslow Twp., died on Sunday, October 13 [2002], at her residence.
Born in Arlington, N.J., she lived in Pomona for 44 years before moving to Elm 13 years ago. She was a homemaker and also retired from the Shulton Co., Mays Landing and the Lenox Corp. of Pomona. A very religious person, she was a member of The Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality of St. Lucy RC Church, Blue Anchor, N.J. Murphy was also a member of the O.E.S., Dewey Chapter #1550, Egg Harbor. She enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, needlework, arts and crafts, and crossword puzzles.
Surviving her are: husband, Charles D.; sons, Joseph of Egg Harbor Twp., James of Galloway Twp. and Charles of Tuckerton, N.J.; step-brother, Bud Calvino of Las Vegas, Nev.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Nuncie A. Ripa Jr.
Nuncie A. Ripa Jr., 56, of Rosedale section of Winslow Township, died on Sunday, October 20 [2002], at University of Penn Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was an area resident all his life. He was a graduate of Edgewood High School, class of 1965, and owned and operated Nuncie A. Ripa Excavating for 17 years. He was a member of Winslow Twp. Fire Co., Hammonton Exchange Club, Aircraft Owner & Pilots Association, USS Battleship New Jersey, and Tin Can Sailors Organization.
Surviving him are: mother, Ann (Rodio) Ripa; sister, Arlene R. Fortunato, both of Rosedale; niece, Ashley Anne Fortunato and girlfriend Marie Scoglio of Hammonton.

Joan E. Macrie
Joan E. Macrie (Cassetta), 69, of Hammonton, died on Friday, October 18 [2002], at Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Hammonton High School, class of 1950. She was co-founder and co-owner of Macrie Bros. Farms since 1953. Joan also was owner and operator for 27 years of Atlantic City Expressway Farm Market. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Mainland Bacharach Rehabilitation. She was a member of Soroptimist International of Hammonton since 1983 and served as President 1988-1990 and 1998-2002.
Surviving her are: husband, Paul Jr.; sons, Paul III and his wife Beth, Nicholas and his wife Dorothy and Michael and his wife Christine, all of Hammonton; daughter, Cheryl and husband Jerry O’Brien of Voorhees; sister, Cora Mae Perone and brother Fred and his wife Dorothy Cassetta all of Hammonton; 7 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial this morning followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery.

Mary Whittaker
Mary Whittaker (Trout), 87, wife of the late Raymond, of Hammonton, died on Monday, October 14 [2002], at Kessler Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Wildwood, N.J., formerly of Camden County, she moved to Hammonton in 1988. She was a volunteer for W.B. Kessler Memorial Hospital for over 12 years. She was a graduate of Wildwood High School.
Surviving her are: son, James C. Whittaker Sr. and his wife Rosemarie (Caprioni) of Hammonton; grandchildren, James C. Whittaker Jr. and his wife Lori, Christian T. Whittaker, Jonathan R. Whittaker and Ashley M. Whittaker. She was also the great-grandmother of two.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on October 18, at St. Martin De Porres Church, followed by burial at The Baptist Cemetery Cape May Court House.

Richard Gray Law
Richard (Dick) Gray Law, 61, of Hammonton, died on October 18 [2002], at his residence.
Born in Atlantic City, he was raised in Linwood and a graduate of Ocean City High School in 1959. He served the U.S. Air Force as a Military Policeman and was honorably discharged. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and former member of Atlantic County Game Preserve. He was employed by Agresta Motor Group of Hammonton for the past six years.
Surviving him are: wife, Diane (DePaci); son, Michael of Pittsburgh, Pa.; daughter, Dawn Law and her boyfriend Anthony Steigerwald; brothers, Jonathan Law of Linwood and Charles Law of Somers Point; granddaughter, Brianna.
Relatives and friends attended a service on Monday, October 21, with burial at the family’s convenience.
