Mary Popeck, 86, of Hammonton died Tuesday, December 3 [2002], at the Heritage Assisted Living in Hammonton.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, she moved to Hammonton 2 years ago. She retired from Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1982 as an Executive Secretary.
Surviving her are: son, Ivan Segal with wife Marlene of Henderson, Nev.; daughter, Denise Fascetta with husband Mac of Hammonton; grandchildren, Michele Fascetta, Ian Segal with wife Stacey, and Danielle Segal; great-grandchild, Nathan Edward Segal.
Relatives and friends attended graveside services on Friday, December 6, at King David Memorial Park, Bensalem, Pa.

Gino L. Cartica
Gino L. Cartica, 88, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, December 3 [2002], at Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Calascio, Italy, he lived in Hammonton for many years. Cartica was a retired Cement Mason for Union Local 780 of New York, N.Y. He served in World War II as a Staff Sergeant 2nd Battalion, 36th Field Artillery.
Surviving him are: wife, Tina A. (nee Rossi); son, Robert J. of New Brunswick; daughter, Carol J. Tenenbaum of Hammonton; brothers, William of Hammonton and Walter of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Gladys Rossetti of Hammonton; grandchildren, Jeremy E. and Alissa A. Tenenbaum.
Friends and relatives attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 6, at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Marie Branca
Marie Branca (nee DiSipio), 101, wife of the late Pasquale, of Hammonton, formerly of Cherry Hill, died on Thursday, November 28 [2002].
Born in Philadelphia, Branca raised her family in Clementon and East Camden. She was a seamstress for Burlington Coat Factory, Burlington, NJ.
Surviving her are: daughter, Teresa Ingemi of Hammonton; sons, Michael Branca of Pawleys Island, S.C., and the late Dominick Branca of Cherry Hill; grandchildren, Sandy Turner, Joseph Ingemi, Pasquale Ingemi, Linda Stoddard, the late Arlene Marsteller, Patricia Ruddick, Maryann Winters, Pasquale Branca, and Lisa Benson; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 2 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cherry Hill followed by entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.

Lillian V. Myers
Lillian V. Myers (nee Ruberton), 82, predeceased by husband, Charles H., formerly of Hammonton, died Friday, November 29 [2002].
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong area resident before moving to Forest Hill, Md. She retired from Ancora Hospital as an Accountant Secretary. She also worked for W.B. Kessler Clothing Co. Myers graduated from Hammonton High School. Member of the American Legion Post 186 Ladies Aux., Ladies Aux. of Indian Head Div. A, Women of the Moose Lodge, former member of Hammonton Band Boosters, and formerly active with the Hammonton Little League.
Surviving her are: son, Charles H. Jr. of Forest Hill, Md.; brother, Michael Ruberton of Hammonton; sisters, Mary Owens of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Kathleen Stavoli of Landisville, NJ; grandsons, Charles III, Matthew, and David.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services today at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Hammonton.

Harry Joseph Morris
Harry Joseph Morris, 56, died Monday, November 26 [2002], at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Atlantic City before moving to Egg Harbor Twp. 10 years ago. Morris worked for New York Ave. Apartments in Atlantic City and for Canada Dry in Phila. as a Boiler Fireman.
Surviving him are: wife, Eleanor (nee Morgan); sons Harry Jr. of Egg Harbor Twp., Brian with wife Bobbi of Hammonton, Christopher of Ocean City; daughters Deborah Morris of Phila., Diane Wilson and husband Donald of Bensalem, brother, Dennis Morris of Greenfield; nine grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended the funeral services on November 30 at Marinella Funeral Home followed by burial in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Rosa Mary DeMeo (nee Annochi), 84, wife of the late Paul of Elm, died Tuesday, November 19 [2002].
Born in Philadelphia, she was an area resident for more than 25 years.
Surviving her are: daughters, Francine Eger of Sicklerville and Patricia Walinski of Somers Point; three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Larry S. Pipitone
Larry S. (Florindo) Pipitone, 79, of Waterford and formerly of West Berlin, died Saturday, November 23 [2002], at Virtua Hospital, Berlin.
Pipitone was a self-employed building contractor. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II.
Surviving him are: mother, Jenny Pipitone of Blackwood; sons, Lawrence of Winslow and Martin of Shamong Twp.; daughters, Joanne M. Iannaco of Waterford, Bernadette Tinder of West Berlin; brother, Joseph; sisters, Viola, Gloria and Loretta; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 27, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Berlin followed by entombment in Cavalry Cemetery, Cherry Hill.

Dominick N. Blanco
Dominick N. Blanco, 76, husband of the late Alice (Iuliucci) of Waterford, died Sunday, November 24 [2002], at his residence.
Born in Waterford, he was an area resident all his life. Blanco retired in 1986 after 36 years of service as an equipment operator for the NJ Dept. of Transportation. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
Surviving him are: daughter, Dana with husband Michael Drebes of Waterford; sisters, Minnie Di Bartolo of Philadelphia, Rose Schilling of Mt. Ephraim, Margaret Mazziotta of Audubon, Angie Malone of Somerdale and Josephine Carbala of Spokane, Wash.; grandson, Domenic.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Nov. 27 at St. Anthony Church in Waterford followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
