Frank N. Ordille
Frank N. Ordille Sr., 79, of Hammonton, died February 22, at Kessler Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. Before retirement, he worked as a Foreman for Hammonton Park Clothes and as a maintenance worker for Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton. Mr. Ordille was an U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II where he served as a parachute rigger. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church where he was an usher for many years.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Franny Biscoglio. Surviving him are: wife, Theresa (nee Cirillo); sons, Frank Jr. with wife Judy of Folsom, Ronald with wife Diane of Waterford; daughter, Marlene Penza with husband Richard Sr. of Hammonton; son-in-law, Frank Biscoglio of Folsom; brother, Anthony Carbarano of Berlin; sister, Connie Hanson of Glassboro; grandchildren, Doug Trivett, Richard Penza Jr. with wife Helena, Kristina Penza, Ronald C. Ordille Jr., Stephanie Ordille; four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christina Burial at St. Martin de Porres RC Church followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery.

Joseph Andre
Joseph Andre, 74, of Hammonton, died at Greenbriar Nursing Home.
Formerly of Atlantic City, he served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, February 25, at Greenmount Cemetery.

Albert F. Griffith
Albert F. Griffith, 85, of Collings Lakes died on February 18, at the Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Key West, he was a resident of the Williamstown, Collings Lakes area for the past 50 years. He retired in 1979 from the Ancora State Psychiatric Hospital as a pipefitter and plumber of 26 years. Prior to that he was employed at the Library IV in Williamstown.
Surviving him are: wife, Martha; daughter, Mary Harris of Philadelphia; sons, Vincent of Collings Lakes, Michael or Wilkes Barre, Lionell of Philadelphia; brother, Ernest; sister, the Rev. Thelma Sperlock, both of Trevose, Penn.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements were made by the Landolfi Funeral Home.
Craig Phillips
Craig Phillips, 67, of Hammonton died Friday, February 21, at the Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division.
Born in Philadelphia, he was an area resident for many years. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Truckers Teamster Union. Phillips was a graduate of Western Maryland College, and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving him are: former wife, Dolores of Philadelphia; daughter, Dina Quinlan of Boca Raton, Fla.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services today followed by interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Carmen Iuliucci
Carmen Iuliucci, 93, of Waterford, died Friday, February 21, at J.F. Kennedy Hospital in Turnersville.
Born in Waterford, he was a life long resident. He was a retired machinist for 29 years for RCA in Camden and a former member of the Waterford Vol. Fire Co.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (nee Lewandowski). Surviving him are: daughter-in-law Shirley Joie, wife of the late Robert, of Glassboro; sister, Madeline Rose of Audubon; grandchildren, Sharon Trombette, Kathy Tracy, Ross Joie; great-grandfather of six.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 25, at St. Anthony Church in Waterford followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Heather Marie Filomena
Heather Marie Filomena, 22, of Folsom died Thursday, February 27, at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital, Hammonton.
Born in Vineland, she was a lifelong resident. Heather was a 1999 graduate of Hammonton High School. She was a pharmacy clerk for Wal-Mart in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: mother, Dorothy A. Filomena; brothers, Jeremy and Justin, all of Folsom; maternal grandparents: Daniel and Dorothy Vitalo of Folsom.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 3, at Our Lady of the Lakes RC Church in Collings Lakes. Burial was private.

Anthony H. Scoglio
Anthony (Tony) H. Scoglio, 66, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Cherry Hill, died Saturday, February 15, at home.
Tony was a graduate of Hammonton High School and Drexel University. He was a member of the US Air Force and a retired sales engineer with Johnson Controls of 33 years.
He was predeceased by his cherished wife Agnes. Surviving him are: son, Anthony of Eastampton, N.J.; daughters, Michele Amrom and Cheryl Scoglio, both of Boynton Beach; three grandchildren; sister, Marie Scoglio of Hammonton; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial followed by burial on Monday, February 17, in Florida.

Catherine Newman (nee Bolin), 78, of Elm died Tuesday, February 25, at home.
Born in Red Bank, she lived in this area for many years.
She was predeceased by husband Kenneth, son Gregory and daughter Barbara. Surviving her are: daughter, Patricia Ann Newman of Morrisville; brother, Charles Bolin of Middletown.

Carlos R. “Charlie Chase” Algea, 31, of Atco, died Sunday, March 2, at home.
Before his illness, Mr. Algea worked for Patriot Manufacturers in Hammonton.
Surviving him are: parents, Victor and Luz Nieves of Atco; children, Tyana Algea of Egg Harbor City, Jacob Algea of Hammonton; sisters; Yolanda Lopez of Paterson, Marilyn Rivas of Lindenwold; fiancee, Tannan Wilson; five nephews, three nieces.

Sarwat Karas Bushra
Sarwat Karas Bushra, 61, of Voorhees, died Wednesday, February 19.
Formerly of Sicklerville, Dr. Bushra was born in Cairo, Egypt, and graduated from Kasr-el-Aini Medical School in 1964. After immigrating to the US in 1970, he became Chief of Anesthesia at Kessler Memorial Hospital from 1978-2002. Sarwat was also a very active member of Covenant Baptist Church in Lumberton.
Surviving him are: wife of 37 years, Violette (nee Boutros); sons, Joseph with wife Elizabeth of Wynnewood, Pa., Timothy of Lindenwold; daughters, Nancy Costa with husband Roy of Voorhees, Sarah of Voorhees; brother, Samir; sister, Saadia, both of Cairo, Egypt.

Ralph J. Fichetola
Ralph J. Fichetola died on Sunday, March 16, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden from complications following open heart surgery. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was born on October 23, 1928, in Elm and resided most of his life in Hammonton. He graduated from Hammonton High School Class of 1949. He was a charter member of the Key Club.
Ralph was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Surviving him are: wife of nearly 50 years, Frances; son, Bill with wife Sue of Hammonton; daughters, Darlene Creamer of Lindenwold, Annette Scipione with husband John of Hammonton; 12 grandchildren whom he loved dearly and was most proud of, Joshua with wife Jen of Louisville, Kentucky, Joseph and Jacob, both of Richmond, Kentucky, Jennifer Collier with husband David of West Deptford, John Creamer of Brigantine, Marc Creamer of Orlando, Fla., Tara Bertino of Absecon, Amber Bertino of Hammonton, Nicole, John and Louis Scipione, all of Hammonton, Nathan Volpe of Dorothy; brothers, Rocco with wife Elaine of Hammonton, Carmen with wife Gail of Mays Landing; sisters, Rita Dowzicky with husband Bill of Hatboro, Pa., Lucy Tidwell with husband Jim of Egg Harbor City; sister-in-law, Anita Fichetola; brothers-in-law, Rich McDonald of Shippensburg, Pa., Grant Guldbrandsen with wife Lil of Melbourne, Fla.; aunts, Sadie Fucetola of Hammonton, Olga Annacone of Mays Landing, Julie Rodio with husband Jim of Hammonton, Anna DiMarino of Maryland; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ralph prided himself for only having two jobs in his lifetime. He worked for Coca Cola for 20 years, first as a salesman and then as a Plant Manager. While working for Coca Cola he excelled in the Dale Carnegie Course. During this time he was a member of the Kiwanis Club. His second job was a salesman for J. Morano and Son for nearly 20 years.
Ralph loved the outdoors. He hunted, trapped, and made delicious homemade wine. He was a founding member of the Bell-Bay Gun Club in Mays Landing. He established a huge purple martin colony and considered himself the “Purple Martin King of South Jersey.” He enjoyed his outside kitchen where he made his special snapper and chicken soup, his grandsons’ favorite.
Many years ago Ralph started a Little League eight-year-old clinic. He devoted many years to helping children develop fundamental skills and good sportsmanship.
Ralph was in politics for over 30 years. He was elected to six terms on Town Council and served five terms on the Fifth District County Board of Freeholders. He served on numerous committees, and had the support of both major parties. He was truly a man for all people. He considered himself a public servant and not a politician.
Ralph was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Hammonton, the Hammonton Democratic Club and the Atlantic County Democratic Club. He was Past Master of M.B. Taylor Masonic Lodge #141 F&AM of Hammonton, and Past Grand Historian of the state of New Jersey. He was also a past member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Ralph had been a member of the Eastern Star of New Jersey and served as Worthy Patron for many years. His ritualistic work was superb.
Ralph will be sorely missed by all his loved ones and friends, but we do believe he is in a better place surrounded by the Lord and loved ones gone before.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing tonight, March 19, after 5:30 p.m. and tomorrow, March 20, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Carnesale Funeral Home. At the funeral home, there will be a Masonic service tonight, Wednesday, March 19, at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hammonton Presbyterian Church followed by entombment in Greenmount Cemetery.

Rose L. Ricci (nee DiGerolamo), 89, of the Elm section of Winslow Township, died Wednesday, March 12, at home.
Born in Blue Anchor, she was a resident of Winslow Twp. for 25 years.
She was predeceased by husband, Amato (Tom). Surviving her are: daughters, Dolores Grasso with husband Carmen of Elm, Kathleen Priolo with husband Frank of Hammonton; brother, Rocco DiGerolamo of Marlton; grandsons, Thomas Grasso with wife Tina, Joseph Grasso with wife Lisa, Frank Priolo; great-grandchildren, Corinne, Michael, Gabrielle, Gianna.
Friends and relatives attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 17, at St. Joseph’s RC Church followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
