Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, she lived in Hammonton for many years before moving to Orlando. She worked for Deer Park Cookies.
Predeceased by: husband, Rafael. Surviving her are: sons, Victor, William of Brooklyn, Rafael Jr. of Orlando; daughters Hilda Ayala of Hammonton, Iris Ojeda of Osceola, Fla.; brothers, Octavio Berrios of Puerto Rico; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing today at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Katherine M. Scola
Katherine M. Scola, 96, died peacefully at home in Hammonton on March 30, 2004.
Born October 9, 1907 Mrs. Scola was a lifelong resident of Hammonton and devoted to her home and family. She was one of nine children. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be joyfully remembered by many.
Predeceased by husband: John E. Scola in 1981; parents, Peter & Nancy Rizzotte.
Surviving her are: children, Beatrice D’Agostino of Bridgewater and Brigantine, Kathleen Galli, John Scola, both of Hammonton; grandchildren, Brigita Kelsey, Marco Galli, John Scola, Stephanie Scola, Natalie Scaffidi, all of Hammonton; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Kelsey, Alyssa Kelsey; sister, Nellie Pirolli of Coatsville; brother, Dr. Peter Rizzotte of Boothwyn, as well as nieces, nephews, sons-in law, and wonderful friends.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 2, at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church followed by burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

James Maiuro
James Maiuro, 86, of Hammonton died March 31, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Elm, Winslow Twp., he liked to read books, magazines and current events. Mr. Maiuro was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country for 22 ½ years during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He enlisted in 1937 and retired in 1959. He attained the rank of Chief Boilerman Engineer and served on eight different Naval Ships, the last one being the USS Saratoga. He then was employed as an engineer boilermaker at the CBS Record Company, Pitman, until he retired.
Predeceased by: daughter, Stephanie in 2003; grandson, Mark in 1987. Surviving him are: wife, Marie (nee Rubba); daughter, Donna Maiuro of Hammonton; sisters, Rose Collins of Elizabeth Town, Ky., Angelina Mortellite of Hammonton, Louise Gelabert of El Paso; brothers, Anthony of Pine Hill, Angelo of Cursie, N.C., Louis of Sicklerville, John of Ulyssis, Pa.; granddaughters, Elisa Wagner, Amanda Wagner both of Hammonton; grandson, Daniel Maiuro and his wife Lisa; great-grandson, Ethan of Sacramento.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 6 at St. Martin de Porres Church followed by entombment with Military Honors in Greenmount Cemetery.

William E. Galletta
William E. Galletta, 91, of Hammonton died Monday, April 5, 2004 at home.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Galletta was a co-founder of Atlantic Blueberry Company. He was a member of the North American Blueberry Council, the New Jersey State Farm Bureau, and the New Jersey Blueberry Grower’s Association.
Predeceased by: son, William A. Galletta. Surviving him are: wife of 68 years, Sarah Galletta; sons, Robert E. Galletta and his wife Beatrice, Daniel J. Galletta and his wife Sandy all of Hammonton; sister, Esther Fay of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Robert K. Galletta, William A. Galletta, Kimi Valentin, David Tomasello, Melanie Sole, Jodi Galletta; seven great-grandchildren; and Mary and Richard Ordille and their children, Tara and LeAnn.

Dorothy A. Inferrera (nee Noto), 79, of Hammonton died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at home after a lengthy illness.
She was known for her gracious and generous spirit. Dorothy touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all.
Predeceased by: husband, Anthony L. with whom she co-founded and owned Inferrera’s Market in Hammonton. Surviving her are: daughter, Dorothy A. Orlandini; sons, Anthony L. Inferrera, John L. Inferrera; grandchildren, Gregory F. Orlandini, Jamie Lynn Inferrera.

Pasquale Vincent Delfino
Pasquale Vincent Delfino of Hyattsville, Md., died Monday, April 5, 2004.
Pat was born and raised in Rosedale and graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1943. He joined the Navy immediately thereafter and served in World War II. In 1963 he retired from the Navy as a chief petty officer. He began employment with the Department of Defense and worked at both the Pentagon and Naval Annex in Washington, D.C. He was an active member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He was an avid hunter and a member of Jim Raso 3H Gun Club.
Predeceased by wife, Betty Hurd Delfino; son, Bruce V. Delfino; brother, Joseph Delfino. Surviving him are: daughter, Belinda S. O’Callaghan of Bladensburg, Md.; companion and friend, Mary L. Starner of Hyattsville; sisters, Sarah Drogo of Landisville, Thelma Raso of Rosedale, Mary Ann Midure of Winslow, Angela Pierce of Cinnaminson; many loving nieces and nephews.

Jane Molkenthin (nee Connoli), 76, of the Elmtowne section of Winslow Twp., died April 4, 2004 at Virtua Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Scottdale, Pa., she moved to Elmtowne more than eight years ago. She retired from Beckman Industrial in Parsippany as a lead technician with more than 20 years of service.
Surviving her are: daughter, Elizabeth Franchetti and her husband Daniel of Hammonton; brothers, Edward Connoli of Ravenswood, WV, Robert Connoli of Greensburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Christina, Juliana, Daniella Franchetti.

Frank Rubba Jr.
Frank Rubba Jr., 67, of Indian Branch Park in Hammonton died suddenly at his residence.
Born in Hammonton, he lived in the area all of his life. Frank retired in 1998 as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for the New Jersey D.O.T. after 30 years. He loved being with his children and enjoyed going to the casinos, playing cards, and horse racing.
Predeceased by: wife, Jessie in 1998. Surviving him are: daughters, Anna Marie Mauger and her husband Mark of West Berlin, Brandi M. Dorell and her husband George of Marlton; sons, Frank III of Boyton Beach, Fla., Michael A. Rubba and his wife Donna of Mullica Hill; brothers, Edward Rubba of Pt. Richie, Fla., Michael Vaniman of Milmay.

James J. Patton, 69, of Hammonton died Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Veterans Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Hammonton, he was an area resident all his life. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of American Legion Post #186.
Surviving him are: daughters, Kathy Hickman of Virginia, Diane Conrad of Las Vegas; brother, Charles Patton and his wife Dot of Hammonton; sister, Margaret Passarella and her husband Michael of Elmtowne.
Services were held Thursday, April 8 at the convenience of the family.

Michelle C. Mazzagatti, 31, of Winslow Twp., formerly of Hammonton passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Mt. Holly she moved to Winslow Twp. in 1996. She was a graduate of Buena Regional High School Class of 1990 and attended the Atlantic Cape Community College for two years. Michelle was an inventory specialist for the Donio Trucking Co., Hammonton.
Predeceased by mother, Elizabeth. Surviving her are: husband, Anthony C. Mazzagatti; daughters, Aundreya Michelle, Samantha Ann; parents, Michael & Connie Knopka; brothers, Michael Knopka, Mark Knopka, all of Winslow Twp.; sisters, Debbie Oler and her husband Keith of Tuckerton, Denise Hart and her husband Ronald of Voorhees; Barbara Ramirez of Hammonton; maternal grandmother, Ida Mae Burrow of Camden.

John Carapelotti
John Carapelotti, 77, of Winslow Twp., died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident of the Hammonton area. Before retiring, Mr. Carapelotti worked as an assistant analyst for Owens-Illinois Industries in Vineland. Mr. Carapelotti was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II where he attained the rank of Yeoman Third Class. He was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign War Post No. 6253 in Berlin, and St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Hammonton.
Surviving him are: wife: Angelina Carapelotti (nee Domenico); daughters, Caroline Carapelotti, JoAnn Carapelotti, Mary Carapelotti, all of California; grandchildren, Tanya, Jonathon; great-grandchild, Jasmine; sisters, Mary Machise and her husband Anthony of Vineland, Anna Tonsetti and her husband Tony of Pittsburgh; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Mark Keown
Mark Keown, 46, of Folsom, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of the southern New Jersey area. Mr. Keown previously worked for Nabisco Bakery in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army and Navy.
Surviving him is: mother, Elizabeth M. O’Neill of Folsom.
