Maryann Jacobus, 63, of Hammonton died July 11 at Cooper Health System in Camden.
Born in New Brunswick and raised in Cranbury, Maryann resided in Princeton Junction until moving to Hammonton in 2003. During her working career, Maryann held managerial positions with McGraw-Hill (NYC) and Monsanto Chemical Corporation. She retired at age 45 from Eagle-Pitcher Industries as the Executive In-Charge of East Coast Operations. Maryann enjoyed collecting fine china, oriental art, antiques and classic cars. She loved cooking, decorating, gardening and with her husband always by her side, loved living in Hammonton. “If you are reading these few lines about my beloved wife and you did not know us, be assured that we have a love that will last forever. To honor Maryann, please hold your loved ones extra tight today and treasure them always. If they are taken from you, know that if your love is true, you will be reunited with them in the Lords’ house, forever.”

Surviving her are: husband of 33 years, Richard; mother, Thelma Docherty of Cranbury; brother, Bud Docherty and his wife Mary Jane of East Windsor; sisters, Susan Langer and her husband George of Cranbury, Jane Hand of East Brunswick, Thelma Taylor and her husband Harry of Freehold; many nieces and nephews.

Douglas Ray Porter, 57, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004.
Born in Bangor, Maine, he served his country in Vietnam and his community as a volunteer fireman. He worked at E.P. Henry Corporation for many years. He was a member of the Garden State ‘50s Auto Club and loved to work on old cars with his buddy Ted Parker. The cars were often entered into car shows and they won many awards. Predeceased by wife, Miriam “Mimi” Porter. Doug was the brother-in-law to Judy and Terry Holland his best friends and his much loved and appreciated caretakers for the past three years. Also surviving him are his 12 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Catherine L. “Katie” Maccarella, 91, of Hammonton died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident.

Gerald Heggan Sr., 84, of North Hampton, Pa., died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Pocono Medical Center, E. Stroudsburg, Pa.
Born and raised in Blue Anchor, he was a resident of Stroudsburg for 20 years. He was a retired construction worker for ACNE Contractors in Pennsauken where he worked for 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during World War II.
Surviving him are: wife, Anna (nee Pajic); sons, Gerald Jr. of Wells, Maine, Allen of Catasauqua, Pa.; brothers, Herman Heggan of Blue Anchor, Leroy Heggan of Waterford.

Clayton E. Burdick, 91, of Hammonton died Monday, July 19, 2004 at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland.
Born in Absecon, he was a lifelong resident of the Hammonton area.
Mr. Burdick attended South Jersey Law School, which is now Rutgers University, and Temple University. Mr. Burdick worked as a Special Agent for the Internal Revenue Service, and also as a self-employed tax consultant and public accountant. He was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Hammonton.
Surviving him are: wife, Electra Burdick (nee Christos); daughters, Barbara Gallant and her husband Gary, Lola Riggs and her husband Dr. Joseph Riggs, Mae Ann Burdick; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Leroy Talley, 55, of Elm died July 17, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Elm for 12 years. He previously worked as a boiler repairman for Newman’s Recycling in Philadelphia, and the City of Philadelphia Sanitation Department. Mr. Talley was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving him are: wife, Armenter B. Talley; son, Habib Talley of Philadelphia; daughter, Erica Talley of Philadelphia; sister, Ann Richardson of Philadelphia; grandchild, Nyah Talley of Sicklerville; nephews, Anton Talley, Jamille Talley, Tarik Talley.

Mary E. Bombara, 83, of Waterford died Sunday, July 11, 2004 at West Jersey Virtua Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Italy, she was an area resident all her life. She retired as a salesperson from Ideal Manufacturing Company of Hammonton in 1984.
Surviving her are: sisters, Millie Olivo of Waterford, Rose McFadden and her husband Charles of Woodbury; nieces and nephews, Marianne & Gary McDonnell, Paul & Linda McFadden, Patricia & James Sexton, Frank & Amelia Olivo.

Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a past president of St. Joseph School P.T.A., past member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Queen of Apostle and a member of St. Joseph Altar Rosary Society.

Constance H. Bailey, 80, of Elm, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Elm for 58 years. Mrs. Bailey was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church where she spent many hours volunteering at church functions. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Elm.
Predeceased by: husband, Walter Bailey; sons, Joseph, Walter, Nicholas. Lester Leandro “Nonoy” Infante, 24, of Hammonton died July 5, 2004.
Born in the Philippines, he was a resident of Hammonton since 1992. Mr. Infante served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He worked as a server for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. He previously worked at the Bagel Shop in Hammonton. He used to visit the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hammonton. His strength, wisdom, and love will always be with us. All precious memories will be cherished in our hearts especially his funny and good-natured ways. He was a great citizen and a wonderful son.

Born in Sicily, she lived in Hammonton for the past 54 years. She was a retired hand sewer for 40 years with Hammonton Park Clothes. She was a member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens.
Surviving her are: husband, Criss; daughters, Sandy Ranere and her husband Pistol, Judy Fields and her husband Rich, all of Hammonton; sisters, Angie Sava of Toms River, Jean LaRoss of Haddonfield; dear family friend, Marie Policare; grandchildren, Steven Ranere and his wife Maritza, Russell Ranere and his wife Liz, Renee Ranere, Mark Fields and his wife Tanya, Brian Fields and his wife Dominique, Scott Fields; five great-grandchildren.
