Michael A. Valerio, 42, died suddenly on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
Born in Blue Anchor, he was an area resident all of his life. He was a 1980 graduate of Edgewood High School. Michael was the president of Valerio Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. He joined the family business as a teenager and served his customers with unsurpassed knowledge, skill, service and dedication for more than 25 years. A kind, gentle soul, Michael will be sorely missed by many whose lives he touched.
Predeceased by: parents, Anthony and Marie; sister, Lisa Marie. Surviving him are: brothers, Brian and his wife Annie, Richard and his wife Lill all of Blue Anchor; niece, Laura Marie; nephew, Steven.

Vincenzo John “Vinny” Milazzo, 5, of Hammonton, passed Monday, October 4, 2004 at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born in Hammonton and a kindergarten student at the Hammonton Early Childhood Education Center. He was a member of the Hammonton Little Kickers Soccer Program. He loved playing with his many friends and his pets Zachary and Noel.
Vinny is survived by his loving parents, Timothy and Kellyann (Thomas) Milazzo; his sister, Courtney; paternal grandmother, Theresa Milazzo; and maternal grandmother, Maureen Thomas, all of Hammonton. He was loved dearly by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

James M. Brady Sr., 73, of Hammonton died Saturday at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Hammonton for 34 years. Before retiring, Mr. Brady worked as a service technician and sales consultant for Pitney-Bowes Inc. in Philadelphia. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was very active in all the veterans groups in Hammonton. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 186, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1026, Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 66, and was president of Tri-Vets, all in Hammonton. Mr. Brady was also a volunteer for the Red Cross. He was a member of St. Martin DePorres Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years.
Surviving him are: wife, Bridget Brady (nee Duffy); daughters, Ann Marie Benedetto and her husband Anthony, Sheila Amendolia and her husband Dominic; sons, James Brady and his wife Lexandra, Martin Brady and his wife Angela all of Hammonton; grandchildren, Katie, Erin, A.J., Nicholas, Dominic, Alanna, Brianna, James, Shannon; brothers, Joseph Brady, Robert Brady, Edward Brady all of Philadelphia; sisters, Joan Wiley of Philadelphia, Catherine Deni of North Wildwood.

Edward B. Sliwecki, 44, of Hammonton died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he was an area resident all his life. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School class of 1979 and was a member of the football and track teams. He enjoyed antique cars and was an avid enthusiast of model remote control airplanes. Mr. Sliwecki was employed as assistant manager of Variety Farms Inc. in Hammonton.

Cosette Tresca (nee Bronico), 80, of Folsom died October 1, 2004 at her residence.
Born in Cementon, N.Y., she moved to Philadelphia as a child. In 1957 she moved to Folsom. Cosette was the past president of Folsom Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the recording secretary for St. Rita’s Society of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She was actively involved in our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival, and was also the 1995 recipient of Outstanding Senior Citizen Volunteer in Folsom.
Surviving her are: husband, George; daughters, Caroline Rogers and her husband John of Ft. Worth, Georgeann Schenker and her husband Greg of Folsom; sisters, Julia Ficca of Philadelphia, Anna DeRitis of Sewell; grandchildren, Miranda Rogers, Wesley Rogers, Daniel Schenker, Julia Schenker.

Michael John Ruberton Jr., 74, of Hammonton died Friday, October 8, 2004 at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. He retired from Whitehall Labs after 34 years as a production manager. Mike graduated from Hammonton High School class of 1948. He was a life member of 56 years with the Hammonton Volunteer Fire Company #2 and served ten years with the Hammonton Police Reserve. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Frank A. Applegate Jr., 53, of Hammonton died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at his sister Marge’s home in Hammonton.
Born in Camden, he was a resident of Hammonton for the past 22 years. An industrial mechanic, he was employed at the American Shower & Bath in Morristown for 14 years. Frank was active with the Cub Scouts Pack 68 of Hammonton and the Boy Scouts Troop 251 of Winslow. He was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam era and then served in the active Army Reserves. He was a parishioner of St. Martin de Porres Church in Hammonton.

John P. Buzzi, 69, of Hammonton died Friday, October 15, 2004 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Passiac, he moved to Hammonton in 1961. He was an accountant for the state of New Jersey and the Federal Government, retiring in 1996. He served in the United States Army. John was a member of the St. Martin de Porres Church choir and the Hammonton Senior Citizens.

William J. Rahelic, 87, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at home in Elmtowne after a lengthy illness.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Elmtowne for 21 years. Mr. Rahelic worked for Lippincot Boat Works and the Philadelphia Shipyard. He enjoyed doing his favorite hobbies, which were fishing and playing the organ by ear. He wrote many touching personal poems for family members and friends. Mr. Rahelic looked forward to playing the slot machines in Atlantic City.
Surviving him are: wife, Marie A. (nee DiSalvo) Rahelic; sisters, Louise Vaughn and her husband Elmer of Cinnaminson, Evelyn Halter and her husband Wally of Mt. Stephen Jack Kubanovich Jr., 63, of Nesco died October 12 at home.
Born in Trenton, he lived in this area for 25 years. Mr. Kubanovich was a senior principal forensic scientist with the New Jersey State Police. Mr. Kubanovich was a member of the New Jersey Association of Forensic Science, St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher and was member of their men’s club. He was also a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Hammonton and Twin Bucks Hunting Club in Mullica Township.
Surviving him are: wife, Barbara Kubanovich (nee Burns) of Nesco; sons, Stephen J. Kubanovich III and his wife Natalie of Haddon Township, Sean Kubanovich, Brian Kubanovich both of Nesco; daughters, Diore Friedlander and her husband Tom, Denise Childs and her husband Chris all of Phoenix; eight grandchildren.

Born in Italy, he was a resident of Hammonton for 48 years. Before retiring, Mr. Carletti worked as a cement mason and brick layer for several different masonry companies in Hammonton. He was a member of St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church and was a former member of the St. Joseph’s Sports Booster Club.
