SIMON T. MALONEY, 89, of Fair Lawn died Thursday.
Before retiring in 1980, he was an insurance manager for General Instrument, Clifton, where he worked for 18 years.
Previously, he had worked for Curtiss-Wright, Wood-Ridge, for 25 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, where he belonged to its Holy Name Society and the St. Anne Council.
He was a member, a past grand knight, and former district deputy of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a graduate of Fordham University.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

MARY LILLIAN HOLMES HURTT MYRICK, 87, of Paterson, formerly of Passaic, died Tuesday.
She was a member of Roger Williams Baptist Church, Passaic, where she was a deaconess, a missionary, and a member of its Usher Board and Senior Choir.
Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Passaic.

PATRICIA ROUNDS NICHOLS of Rutherford died Thursday.
She was a member of John Wesley Methodist Church, East Rutherford.

RAYMOND J. O'BRIEN, 84, of Lakewood, formerly of Paramus, died Wednesday.
Before retiring 20 years ago, he was vice-president and comptroller for Standard Products in Whitestone, New York, where he worked for 15 years.
He was also a professor of accounting at St. Peter's College, Jersey City, where he worked for 30 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Trinity Council and St. Vincent DePaul Society, both in Hasbrouck Heights.
He was a graduate of St. Peter's College.
Arrangements: O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall Township.

JOSEPH A. PIZZARELLO, 86, of Hawthorne died Friday.
He was a personnel manager for Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., Garfield, for 18 years.
Subsequently, he was a teacher and chairman of the business department for North Rockland High School, Thiells, N.Y., where he worked for 23 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, where he served as minister of hospitality and belonged to the Holy Name Society.
He was a member of the Hawthorne Elks Lodge.
Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

JOSEPH PROVENZANO, 77, of Fort Lee died Monday.
Born in Italy, he came to the United States in 1928.
Before retiring in 1987, he had been a corporate lawyer for Grumman Corp., Long Island.
Arrangements: Direct Cremations, Paterson.

RUTH SIEGEL, 81, of Fair Lawn died Thursday.
Before retiring in 1985, she owned Maxine's Sweet Shop, River Edge.
She was a member of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center.
Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

SHAVARSH TOROSIAN, 79, of Fair Lawn died Friday.
He was born in Turkey.
Before retiring in 1980, he was an electronics technician for General Electric, North Caldwell, where he worked for 13 years.
He was a member of St. Leon Armenian Church, Fair Lawn, where he was a deacon.
He was a member and past commander of the Knights of Vartan, West New York.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

CHARLES J. TRIPP of New Milford died Thursday.
Before retiring in 1980, he was a telephone technician for New Jersey Bell, where he worked for 25 years.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the American Legion, Rochelle Park.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hackensack.
Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Oradell.

JILLIAN VELARDO, 11-day-old daughter of Joseph and Mary Velardo, died Thursday.
Arrangements: A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

GENEVIEVE KROPIEWNICKI WIERZBICKI, 91, of Fairview died Thursday.
Before retiring, she was a seamstress.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, North Bergen, where she belonged to its Rosary Altar Society.
She was a member of Fairview Seniors and the Polish-American Democratic Club.
She was active in the Hackensack Seniors' Folk Dancing Club.

ANNE MARIE WOJCIECHOWSKI, 46, of Wallington, formerly of Passaic, died Thursday. Born in Belgium, she came to the United States in 1955.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Passaic.
