BERNICE DOUGHERTY McCARTHY, 79, of Clifton and Deerfield Beach, Fla., died Saturday.
Before retiring, she was a clothing model and saleswoman for Ohrbach's Department Store, Newark, and a fashion model for the John Roberts Powers Agency, New York City.
She was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church, Clifton, and St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Deerfield Beach.
Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

VICTOR P. MENEGUS, 77, of Clifton died Friday.
Before retiring in 1988, he was a metal-shop teacher and cooperative education instructor at Passaic High School, where he taught for 30 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church and a former parishioner of St. Philip R.C. Church, both in Clifton.
Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

CHRIS MIELE, 67, of Fairfield, formerly of Cedar Grove, died Friday.
Before retiring seven years ago, he was president of Angelo Miele and Sons Inc., a private disposal contractor in Montclair.
He was former president of the Wayne Lions Club and was a member of the Italian-American Club, Paterson.
He was a parishioner of Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell, where he served as an usher.

ELSIE M. JERZAK NATALE, 83, of Midland Park died Friday.
Before retiring in 1981, she was a seamstress for Barbizon, Paterson, where she worked for 40 years.
She was a parishioner of the R.C. Church of the Nativity, Midland Park.

GARY A. NORDMAN, 51, of Rockaway died Friday.
He was born in the West Indies. He worked for Account Temps and Robert Half and Hartshorn Services.
Previously, he was a tax manager for Burns and Roe Enterprises, Oradell.
He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the National Society of Public Accountants.
He was a member of St. Michael Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Paterson, where he served as assistant to the pastor.

HELEN MACKO PETRICKO, 89, of Clifton died Friday. Born in what later became Czechoslovakia, she came to the United States in 1935.
She was a parishioner of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, where she was a member of the Mother's Club and the Rosary and Altar Society.

CAROLINE NIVERTH POJEDINEC, 81, of East Orleans, Mass., formerly of Clifton, died Saturday.
Before retiring in 1984, she was accounts receivable manager for Fisher Stevens/IMS Co., Clifton and Totowa.
She was a parishioner of Saints Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, Clifton.

NANCY P. PULLARA, 64, of Sebastian, Fla., formerly of Little Falls, died Tuesday.
She was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls, and St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Sebastian.
She had been a member of the Republican Club, Little Falls.

PAUL PULLER, 87, of Fair Lawn died Friday.
Before retiring in 1980, he was a maintenance worker for the Fair Lawn Board of Education for 20 years.
He was a member of the Masonic Temple, Paterson.

SALVATORE T. QUAGLINO, 82, of Jackson, formerlyof Dumont, died Friday.
Before retiring in 1973, he was a technician for the Bendix Corp., Teterboro, where he worked for 22 years.

THOMAS RAYMOND REYNOLDS, 68, of Clifton died Friday.
Before retiring, he was a machinist for Pantasote Co., Butler.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He had played semi-professional baseball and also coached baseball and basketball for the Clifton Midget League.

MARTIN ROTHBERG, 75, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Paterson and Fair Lawn, died Friday.
Before retiring, he was a manager in the retail jewelry industry in northern New Jersey.
He was a member of Knights of Pythias Lodge 163, Fair Lawn, and a former member of Temple Emanuel, Paterson.

RUTH A. JOHNSON TETI, 76, of Saddle Brook died Saturday.
She was an Army veteran of World War II.
She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Saddle Brook, where she was a member of the Rosary-Altar Society and the Senior Citizens Group and served as a lector and Eucharistic minister.
