He was an Army veteran of World War II.

An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was a former member of the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad and had been a civil defense warden during the 1950s and a former special police officer in Lincoln Park.

Before retiring in 1989, he was an electronics engineer for Electro-Miniatures, Teterboro, where he worked for 30 years.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield, where he was a member of the Renew 2000 Committee.

FEDERICO RONDA, 84, of Ridgefield Park, died Saturday.
Born in Puerto Rico, he came to the United States in 1945.
Before retiring in 1989, he was a self-employed grocer, owning La Suerte in New York City for 20 years.
He also was a doorman at The Galaxy Apartments, North Bergen.

VINCENT JOSEPH SAIA SR., 67, of Paterson, died Saturday.
Before retiring in 1990, he was an officer with the Paterson Police Department, where he worked for 29 years.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 227, Totowa, and was a member of the Police Honor Legion and the Cesare Battisti Club, Paterson.

She had been a lunch aide for the Teaneck public school system at the Hawthorne School.
She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Franklin, and was a member of the Teaneck Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the AARP.

He was born in Poland.
He was a forklift operator for Parkway Iron and Metal Co., Clifton, where he worked for 15 years.

MANUEL VALENCIA, 90, of Lodi, formerly of Hackensack, died Sunday.
Born in Ecuador, he came to the United States in 1969.
Before retiring, he had owned a liquor store in Ecuador.

CAMILLA M. TRIMARCHI WHITED, 82, of Waldwick, formerly of Englewood and Tenafly, died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1982, she was an executive secretary for General Foods Corp., Tarrytown, N.Y.
She was a member of the Fardale Trinity Church, Mahwah, and a former parishioner of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Tenafly, where she was a member of the Evergreens.
