Before retiring in 1980, he was a machinist's foreman for Watson Machine Co., Paterson.

JOHN A. BOSWICK JR. of Wyckoff died Wednesday.
He was a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry and the U.S. military, and had been chief of hand surgery service at the University of Colorado.
Previously, he had been on the medical staff at several Chicago hospitals.
He had also been a professor for Illinois and Northwestern universities.
He had been a delegate to the World Health Organization, and had headed the American Burn Association and the International Society for Burn Injuries.
He authored medical papers and edited six books.
He was a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, and studied at Cook County Hospital, Loyola University, and Southern Illinois University.

She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.

He was a member of the R.C. Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park.
