He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

She was an artist and a dressmaker who owned Michelle's, Lyndhurst, for 20 years.
Her paintings and portraits won awards at the Capital Art Exhibition in Trenton and senior citizen competitions in Bergen County, and have been displayed at banks, libraries, and galleries.

He was a member of the National Association of Rudimental Drummers and the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Association of Fifers and Drummers.
He was a rudimental drumming instructor for the Cresskill Colonials of N.J., the Lodi Boys and Girls Club, and St. Michael R.C. Church, Lyndhurst.
He was a founder of N.J. Colonial Militia to Keep Patriotic Music Alive.
He was a member and former director of Sons and Daughters of the former 5th Regiment Fife & Drum Corps.
He was a manager for the Clifton Midget League and a touring baseball team.
He organized the Clifton Senior Citizen Crisis Fund.
