Before retiring in 1975, she was assistant borough clerk of Edgewater for 21 years.
She was a member of the Seniors, Edgewater; the Holy Name Hospital Auxiliary, Teaneck, and the 3rd Order of Carmelites of St. John R.C. Church, Leonia.
She was vice president of the Rosary Society of Holy Rosary R.C. Church and secretary of the Democratic Club, both in Edgewater.
She was a volunteer at the former Bergen Pines County Hospital, Paramus.
