She had been an office manager for Levy and Levy Architects, Woodcliff Lake.
She was a member of the Society of Architectural Administrators of the American Institute of Architects, past president of the Parent Faculty Association, and former secretary of the Woodcliff Lake Civic Association.

He also had owned the Central Barber Shop, Passaic, for 50 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church and was a member of Council 262 of the Knights of Columbus, both in Passaic.

He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a master's degree in commercial engineering.
He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Englewood, where he served on the deacon board and was a member of the senior choir and the male choir.
He also was a member of the Laymen's Association of North Jersey; the Boys of Yesteryear, New York City; Henry Douglas Post 58, Englewood, and Twin City 316 Prince Hall.
He was a statewide missionary.
